Well if it's what the thread wants I can...try to learn to love centipede-chan
I'm sure...he..gives..good hugs...
Don't worry. Not a big fan either. But, this is an interesting opportunity to see how contracting works.Well if it's what the thread wants I can...try to learn to love centipede-chan

I don't think it gives good hugs =X But you also don't know if it's a he or a she
I can confirm that the centipede is male and reserved, but eager to please.I don't think it gives good hugs =X But you also don't know if it's a he or a she

A thought just crossed my mind. Assuming this vote wins, does that mean Sereg's actions would be restricted by the "contract", as it was the contract that created the Soul-Bound in the first place and allowed a player to control it?
I'd assume the answer is a yes, but this is something interesting to note.
Edit: This is amusing because it gives a sort of "meta-incentive" for Soul-Bound monsters to not fuck up the dungeon and the other players' plans.
Of course they can still do so… but ooh, it'll be hilarious to see the outcomes if it does happen.

--[X] 1) Never to harm the Dungeon.
--[X] 2) To obey instructions of intelligent members of the Dungeon except where it may interfere with 1
--[X] 3) To defend the Dungeon against intruders, save for when this may interfere with 1 or 2.

Additionally, from the first page:
The key-word being can, it makes it sound like not every Soul-Bound monster will be controlled by a player. Is this true, or no, every Soul-Bound will have a player behind them?

Actually there are a couple of critical issues with the vote as is in this regard... Namely:
- Note that it never prohibits eating pixies or whatever. It prohibits harming the dungeon not harming its other inhabitants.
- It compels that the creature should follow orders of intelligent members of the dungeon... Completely ignoring that Soulbound monsters tend to become intelligent members of the dungeon. The first player that shouts "never give me orders" to the other soulbound monsters is de facto the tyrant among them.
So while the three rules of robotics reference is nice and all it is quite poorly applied here.
