Region character is really important for oWoD stuff. It's unlikely that this will be a globe-trotting adventure, honestly it's unlikely that we'll be moving around much between Syndey and other cities even. And this, like, it helps Meghanada get a firm footing underneath him before tackling the harder, more painful shit like "why did my best friend die" and "what am I" and "explain Werewolf the Apocalypse".

But seriously Pentex tried to kill/capture us once, have a beef with our dad and a local presence there probably going to show up again and are a safe topic sort of.

Getting the summary of the hundred different shades of "I will eat your soul" monster running around in the OWOD is just asking to get a depressing chapter.

Asking about the rakasha is um something Meg is not ready for and he should probably keep his nature a secret if he can or at least until we're sure these guys aren't rogue council "everything the union built we shall tear down, who cares about bystanders" types.

We're going to get a more general introduction to the Mage setting in Australia in a bit and that will presumably cover the key points. So I vote to see how zerban explains Umbrella corporations nastier cousin.

Well something to consider too is that a big part of how oWoD works is that you have to sorta hack your own shapes from it, especially in crossover games and shit (but you already know that so I'm more of saying it for the benefit of people who don't :V). In this context at least asking about the local monster populations would give a pretty good insight into how Zerban's handling them.

I mean if he reworked Shinji "Maximum Bad Touch" Matou, he probably redid werewolves and vampires too. Maybe Changelings?

Zerban, just write Tokyo Ghoul already. Look at it this way, you couldn't possibly screw it up more than Ishida already has, and even if you did, it'll at least be a learning experience.

Amazing as usual Zerban! I like how Meg's finally in a safe place that also happens to be a haunted and labyrinthine underwater base. It's the complete opposite of fleeing through the sunny underwater dome while losing our minds and being chased by monkey men.

I want to know more about Pentex and the Umbra, but this seems like the more general background question, which I think will get us up to speed faster. Also, it doesn't touch on our inhumanity or the murderwolf attack that killed our only friend, so it's a...calmer start, I think. Relatively.

Hey, maybe this line of questioning will lead to more info on Ichiban? I want to thank the guy who saved our life in such a cool fashion.

Wait, rakshasa-derived combat homunculi? Yikes! Can't wait to see them deployed. I wonder, do they retain their power source? Would be a waste to breed super-warriors without the very ability that makes them impossibly efficient murdermachines.

It all makes sense. The whole country is a polygon for testing deadly biological weapon. Sad truth is, if any of the homunculi somehow break free and go wild, they won't look that much out of place in the eco-system...

Amusingly, our edgy friend did directly break the "do not be alone " rule just after hamming it home towards us.
And I wonder if we do have a entrophic/shade infestation in here of if it is just regular umbrood monsters with a bit of a shadowy flavor, most likely created by something that went wrong with the reactor.
