[X] Go rescue Eggman (enables @Space Jawato ignore the Lost status)

He might be angry and rambling, I might be able to redirect his anger into revenge by SCIENCE!

@theflyingbiscuit
If my idea about specific brain waves, like the ones emitted during different sleep phases, influencing the creatures. Because said waves also exist in the dream dimension.
And the people the creatures live around, influencing them highly. We could find a specific mindset and transmit it forcefully to them, muttating them in horrible ways and making them at least wish they were dead, if it doesn't kill them. I will help with your project!

[X] Design a blueprint
-[x] Something that hurts Dreameaters.

@Genon
I'm making what's basically mental programming and installing. This should work out! I will help with this!

[X] Continue work on Skillsoft blueprint

It is not Operations 8. "Five feet tall and has hands capable of using equipment and has operations programming" would also describe a particularly short Skilled Laborer, who is Operations 2. Not 8.

It contributes 8 points, but that's basic skill bonus, the manpower is on top of that, but also applies to all actions. So the actual calculations is +10 to an Operations action.
So, considering we don't have much building equipment and I doubt the Medium Spiderbot only costs a bit more than the small ones, the small ones are our best bet. I have set the Forging Furnaces to make 160 spider bots, effectively 1344 Operations Points, possibly more if in a base with a Robot Maintenance Bay

Potentially worth considering - Motobug, while costing 1.5 instead of .5, still cost 0 and have both Operations 1 and Combat 1, meaning that they can also be used for extra soldier power when needed.

I wouldn't expect you to go entirely with Motobugs over Spider Bots, but replacing at least a few of them might be worth consideration.

Another important question - those 160 Spider bots you want to build.

Where are we keeping them all?

The number of minions we have is capped by space, correct? Or is it capped by players? There is a cap on minions, correct? (And if there isn't, someone needs to give me a clear-cut answer why I didn't get any Motobugs from my Minion order last turn).

Either way, that's 160 Spider bots. Sure, that gives us over 13k Operation points, but it only gives us 13k Operations Points. It does Squat for anything else. They don't give us any combat points or Intel points (no science points either, but that's not as big a deal since we're all mad scientists and science is our deal).

With you building 160 Spider Bots, will we have room to build or acquire any other minions we might need? I can't be the only want to want more than our 1 Buzzkill, can I? We've got at least 32 Combat Points per Buzzkill, that's 384 sweet, sweet kill points per 12-bug squadron, or 128 per 4-bug flight team. That's a big deal, if you ask me, I'd rather not run out of room for them because we've got 160 Spider Bots running around. Will we have room for more Buzzkill or any other combat capable minions if you build 160 Spider Bots? Will we be able to acquire any other minions capable of intel actions?

Both of which are important, especially combat given - if I'm not mistaken - we don't have many people with very strong Combat capabilities, and Combat is arguably the most dangerous skill to not have anything to help with.

We are already running out of space tho? Maybe something more space to stat efficient?

Maybe he's counting on getting new bases to store them?

In which case, why is he the one that gets to decide all that new space is eaten up by Spider Bots that can't do anything but Operations actions?

Which will be a terrible thing if we need minions to help us do anything but Operations Actions. Like combat or defend said bases that let us house those minions.

I had an idea for a front business.

H.A.L.P. Health and life project. WE ARE HALPING!
A medical facility including a hospital, mental hospital and laboratorium. Everyone will think we are the good guys. Leading in medical equipment, therapy, medicine and all things health related. Anyone attacking our building, will see their reputation plummet into the deepest depths.
It would also bring in money, and medical care for any of our members and minions. Also developement of any biology and healing related things wouldn't rise as many eyebrows, and made easier!

Edit:If anyone agrees we could make it next time, to avoid lone wolf malus. I used my actions for this time.

I'll help you start that next turn if you found it as an expansion on Fairweather Enterprise... ;)

Preliminary Action Draft...

[] Acquire a new base/Build Something at Luján Partido Bunker to get it started
-[] Luján Partido Bunker
-[] Emphasis on concealment and defense, this is going to be a facility we do not have mundanes coming to.

[] Design a blueprint
-[] Something that hurts Dreameaters.

@theflyingbiscuit @Painfulldarksoul might it be worth a potential alternative to research "How do you kill Dream Creatures" or "Dream Creature weaknesses" first?

[] Boss Minions Around
-[] Order 10 Spider Bots and 1 Motobug to assist with establishing Luján Partido Bunker as a new secret headquarters

[] 3-4 Forging Furnaces
-[] 23 Motobugs (to be housed at new Luján Partido Bunker base)
-[] 11 Buzzkill (to be housed at new Luján Partido Bunker base)

It'd be more efficient to make dedicated combat robots instead of ones that can do both currently. A Simple VI actually is a rather good cheap minion for just about anything, only reason I'm not making a bunch of them instead of Net Navis is because there's a limit to how many minions can help with Research, so it's quality over quantity there.

there's a limit to the # of minions we can have
so any higher stat value, regardless of spread, is superior to a lower stat value

Each spider not is about the size of a cat, so maybe a foot in each dimension. Since they are robots and dont really mind tight quarters, they would all fit in a 5x5x5 foot cube. They could go in the garage if nowhere else, they would be smaller than your average car, and this is assuming they dont come equipped with my capsule tech allowing them to be even smaller when not working.

While yes they only give Operations point, we need Operations to build the other minions and bases and what not, and I AM making 40 Net Navis to help out with research.

If the Replicator Research goes favorably this turn, then I hope to have the spider bots produce a ton of replicator rooms, allowing for us to make even more minions.

Where

Are

We

Putting

Them?

I cannot escape the feeling that you are not, in fact, thinking this idea anywhere close to all the way through. You are assuming we have enough space for all the operations only robots you want to build, ignoring the old saying about what assumptions make out of you and me.

You talk about building countless minions, but you have expressed 0 thoughts about plans about where to store these endless minions, or plans for building places to put them, or what happens if we need anything other than operations between now and an undetermined point in the future when you think we actually have enough Operations points, if ever.

You, sir, are acting like a living Von Neumann machine right now, insisting on increasing numbers without any genuine thought of the realistic logistics and limitations of reality that our genius can not ignore at this point.

And while I respect your mad genius, while I respect your obsession, I can not ignore the blatant failures and shortcomings that you refuse to address and otherwise insist on ignoring in your mad quest for MORE OPERATIONS!

This, Sir, can not be allowed to stand.

My very first paragraph was addressing where to put them and Operations is exactly the skill we need for building more room. That swarm of spider bots will let us expand our bases to MANY times there current size, allowing storage of our many future robots.

If you propose creating a Cavern Base that our robots then expand to make an endless labyrinth of cavern tunnels all filled with the gleaming limbs of our robot swarm, and dedicate YOUR OWN actions to expanding bases such that we can have the robots w/o imposing on the minions others desire to create, I will support an endless robot swarm.

Otherwise, such an ideology is displeasing; your choice of robot to create is foolish; etc.

Maybe more like 'Interaction with the Dreamplane and it's inhabitants.', for a starting point how to have any kind of influence on them then?

That might be viable, perhaps "How to hurt Dream Plane inhabitants"?

You want to keep how many Spider Bots in a Garage that is explicitly said to hold up to three vehicles not much bigger than a car?

Where are we storing our vehicles while you use it to hold your obscene number of Spider Bots? I would very much like to build a replacement Eggmobile in the near future, where am I supposed to put it if you're using up all our garage space for the Spider Bots? Not to mention the Rocket Car that's already using up a third of that space, I doubt Will would appreciate his garage space being hijacked for your obscene number of Operations Only robots.

Again, you're not thinking this all the way through, and you're overly obsessing over "MAXIMUM OPERATIONS FOR THE WIN!"

While, again, ignoring what happens if we need combat or intel robots in the meantime. Again, last I checked, our combat numbers aren't great, especially with the injuries we have right now, some of which are affecting our best fighters.

Yes, I am dedicating my own actions to it. My actions made the forges that made the robots that will be doing everything else, not hampering anyone else from making their own.

Again, you did not read that first paragraph. They are cat size, so asst most 1 cubic foot each. All together is a 5x5x5 foot cube, smaller than your average car, so would only take up one vehicle spot at most.

And this is assuming that my capsule tech will not work on them and we are literally out of space even though we just got a second base and people are currently getting us a third.
