And I'd just keep writing Charlotte in to distract him.

I mean did you honestly believe that was a post about Findor???

Please Charlotte stole the show and all the exp from that.

And I can totally get on board with referring to him as butter lobster henceforth.

Also Charlotte is another fraccion supposedly of barragan if omicron wants to keep it that way.
I would be absolutely okay with accidentally powerlevelling Charlotte into a Captain Level threat, just so that he could force more than one poor soul to witness his... taste in garb.

So. How much EXP would be required to raise style to legendary? I ask this in pursuit of becoming the worlds most ostentatious moth.
Mundane Skills have halved costs compared to standard skills. You got the first level for free. This means the cost to level up to Legendary is 100 + 200 + 400 + 800 + 1200 + 1600 = 4500xp if you want to get it all the way up to Legendary.

You have taken your first steps on the path of making every one of your actions beautiful. You have the basics of etiquette needed to talk to Espada or shinigami without offending them, you can carry an object through a series of attacks without dropping it, you know which honorifics are appropriate when addressing any given person.

Is it bad that my first thought when reading the bolded line is: "Oh so if we ever have to grab someone and run, we can do that" ?

Ugh, I'm getting goosebumps imagining what Lamenting Cero will look like if we continue developing along that line all the way through to Legendary.

God, I'm starting to love Nemo's central concept more and more.

I just wish I could focus enough to put it into an omake but I'm imagining Lamenting Cero now...

So you have little Nemo, who's given you a surprisingly hard fight, even though she only has the power level of a Gillian. She's making you work for it. Too quick to catch, Balas hitting hard enough to give you pause, the occasional swipe with her sword serving to throw you off balance.

She's gotten the drop on you and through some downright graceful maneuvering, you find yourself at her mercy as she charges a Cero.

But this is fine, you can still handle her, though this next part will hur- is it screaming?

And so you find yourself watching with increasing dread as the little moth- little Numero Nemo- charges a Cero which moans, groans, and screams at volumes that increase exponentially for every second it exists. Wisps of what appear to be the ghosts of Hollows she's devoured before- and isn't that a queer thought, how many Hollows has little Nemo eaten?- curl around and within the energy forming at her hand.

The worst part about this terrifying display? She looks sad. She's looking at you with nothing less than sorrow as she prepares to add you to her chorus of souls.

Then the Cero is literally howling towards you.

Can anyone direct me to the reasoning behind the interest in Yammy? We were just told that we are not particularly sneaky, putting some distance between us and Findor would probably be helpful, and honestly Nemo seems to be at her best when she doesn't have to worry about all the Arrancar. I'm confused as to why that choice is so popular.

I think it's because
  1. Yammy in canon kills Esmerelda, who we would like to remain unkilled, or at least avenge.
  2. Yammy seems punkable. He's pretty much the least difficult Espada to pick off, since his special powers are just being unusually big and stompy compared to his normal level of big stompiness.
Which, hey, is fair. If we're angling to take out an Espada, Yammy is a solid target. Most of the others would be way trickier to pick off cleanly. That's assuming nobody stronger shows up to save Yammy's bacon, of course.

Findor isn't going to try anything against Nemo in the immediate future unless she provokes it, regardless of whether she remains in Las Noches or not. His pride might smart, but he's not dumb enough to risk invoking the wrath of a former Espada that easily.

Nemo is also naturally going to be drawn into the spheres of the other arrancar, especially the Espada. Serving under Cirruci guarantees it; she was stung by her removal, and she is ambitious enough to want to climb back up. Which is fine- serving somebody with that kind of grand ambition and resultant need for stability is exactly what Nemo needs. She needs that purpose and direction, and is mostly helpless to find it on her own.

Yammy is then the choice because he's particularly dangerous in the right circumstances, which will be very bad for Nemo if she doesn't know at the time.

We should somehow get Cirruci to aim higher than just the 10 spot. Not too high, obviously, but for a solid number between 6 and 9.

An interesting piece of WoG on Yammy from discord:
Omicron-Yesterday at 3:30 PM

Yammy is the #0 Espada when he has spent days to weeks just lounging about doing nothing but let his Reiatsu build up, then uses his Resurreccion.

That means that if Cirruci attacks after he already entered Resurreccion not to long ago it is possible for her to off him after she becomes enough to actually take the position of espada again, instead of becoming strong enough to take on a weaker espada and then being floored by Yammy's true power.

On the other hand, seeing how Ulquoirra is around him often, and we don't know when an oppurturnity like that would actually show up, (it is very rare for Yammy to use Resurreccion after all), it might very well be better to aim for her to be interested in taking a spot that isn't 10th.

Also I have no idea how long it would take for us to get that type of information in character anyway.

At this time Nemo by herself is pretty much a developmental dead end, what with her particular mix of utter lack of self esteem and prior psychological trauma plus commitment issues. Without external stimulus her entire motivation will be geared to simply surviving unseen and forgotten day to day.

At least for now
she needs someone to be there giving her repeated kicks in the ass to actually do something to better herself.

For better or worse Cirucci is the person doing the kicking right now and Cirucci herself is motivated primarily by her quest to get back into the Espada. As such Yammy is a obvious target for her. Logically he is the weakest and easiest to knock down. Now OOC we might know something is up with the big sluggard and he could be more than Cirucci can bite off...but she doesn't know that.

She is however smart enough to be suspicious about the whole set up in character so it makes sense for her to send her new minion to scout out the situation. Plus she's apparently one of those masters that like to throw their pupil into the deep end rather than coddle them like some infant.

Since according to plot Cirucci's picking the next mission for Nemo this should be in character for her.

[X]Lamenting Cero. Nemo's Cero has always had a peculiar gray color, wisp-like look and strange sound, but this effect actually turns this into a meaningful combat advantage. When the energy of your Cero scatters after firing, it creates phantomatic vision, smoke- or mist-like, just figurative enough to imagine real shapes in them, as well as a distorted, mournful chorus in the area of firing. This allows you to use your own Cero as a smokescreen, concealing your movement in the visions and drowning your sounds in the weeping.

Would like Living Cero more, but Lamenting fits Nemo's style better.

[X]Living Cero. A Cero is a mindless thing, braced and then thrown into the world to act as it will. With this Trait, however, your mind still has a grasp on a Cero as it is being fired, allowing you to alter it in some ways. You can widen the scope of your attack, reducing its intensity but catching a dodging enemy, or narrow it to focus its power on a target that can't dodge, or expend further energy to maintain its firing for several seconds to utterly scour the object of your ire.
