[X]Chase Findor down into the depths. See this through to the bitter, bitter end.
-[x] Wrong, I fight for my home...and you attacked it.

With Veteran rank Sonido that makes us intangible and our attacks getting a level of phasing, I do have some confidence in that working. Getting behind him

It's still a very, very large chance to take, when we were barely on our feet to begin with.

Make no mistake, we were losing that fight. We got a few dents in on him, and in exchange, we're a wreck. He gets a heal when he pops his Resurrection, and then he just taps the rest of his power and we're on the backfoot again--and we're also exhausted to boot.

All it takes is us fucking up once and we're done for--can't use Sonido after all if we can't move.

[X] You have at least a little time before he finds you again. Get rid of the crown fragment in a way that it won't be found or linked back to you. The time away will hopefully wash away any lingering power before you get back.

The first thing you should do when your made is dump the evidence. People mention the fragment but despite a lot of talk no one has voted to get rid of the only actual evidence that we did something wrong.

I would actually prefer to stay in the city but this is a way to know if Esmeralda is a real friend; or if we shouldn't get attached. Given that we're injured and they don't know about our regeneration the infirmary is a place that he might check but it's still a legal way out of the city.

He can't detect it--or if he can, he doesn't care about it, because if he did, he would have just taken it. It wasn't really particularly well hidden.

He's upset because we did a job his master wanted done, and came back unscathed, and then we came back unscathed again from the follow up. So he came to bully us, and just made all this shit up as a pretext.

I feel like right now, this is a boxing match where we're ahead on points. Findor got some good hits in, we got some good hits in, but we're the undermoth in this confrontation. If the fight ends now, we look good for hitting above our weight class, and Findor looks like a punk who can't back up his big talk.

Our worst lose condition is to keep fighting until someone gets knocked out, because that someone will probably be Nemo. The next worst lose condition is to disengage without anyone knowing we were trading blows with Findor, because it gets us nothing and gives Findor maximum incentive to come back and erase us before word gets out that he's all talk.

We don't need to sign up as Cirucci's minion. We just need someone friendly enough to hear our story about throwing down with Findor and strong enough that he can't shut them up. We don't need Cirucci to fight Findor, we need her to sneer at him and then tell all the other arrancar about how dumb he looked with half his mask off, covered in dust from being blasted through a couple floors, and with a big knife wound in his chest. And she will, because she'll think that's hilarious.

Indeed, we want Cirucci for the hilarious senpai/kouhai relationship that I really should stop mentioning; not because she'll murder him for us, but because it's a funny and interesting story development and creates room for character interaction in the future.

I agree with Revlid the odds of us winning a straight fight with Findor once: our main advantages are gone, he's pissed enough to get serious and his wounds aren't in play are low.

He won't want this to become public and Cirucci's presence should be enough to deter him from starting shit right off the bat. Opefully giving us enough time to level up and stand a better chance against him when he manages to corner us alone later in game.

I guess I see your point, I still feel that even if it's a guess the actual item is still too hot but it's not that important.

I have been convinced.

Doesn't Resurrection heal us as well? If we use it and he uses his, and he's likely to use it now, we can use his lack of knowledge and his preference to ranged combat to our advantage, phasing through his attack and catching him by surprise. Even after he figures out our power, the knowledge won't do him much good unless he's significantly faster then us, since none of his attacks can hit us mid-Sonido.

Also, there's now a giant hole leading to the basement, filling the place with light. There's bound to be shadows we can hide and regenerate in.

It doesn't replace the power we lost--not entirely. And we're almost tapped out while he hasn't even tapped the limits of what he had before he popped it.

I was convinced. Social pressure is useful.

True. If nothing else, Cirucci is one of the few beings around here who has treated us like an actual person instead of an appliance. I mean, she's kind of stuck up, but that beats the heck out of "now that you've completed this task for me, I'm sending you to your death", or "the penalty for not dying when sent to your death is death".

If we aren't going to fight, which I prefer, I'd much rather go to Cirucci than the desert. Fuck letting him dictate how this encounter went.

Even nearly tapped out, I think we have a good chance of winning. I highly doubt blade summoning and using Sonido is going to cost as much as spamming Balas and Ceros. The fact that we don't have to stop mid-Sonido to dodge an attack, we only need to time it (and the rank increase specifically mentions better timing) and head straight for him, allows us to end this quickly.

Except he's not going to stand still and just let us do whatever we want?

Resurrection itself drains power, even though it gives us an up front infusion. His reserves are greater than ours to begin with, and his tank is closer to being full than ours is by dint of him only using 2/3rds of his maximum output even at the end of that fight.
