Creation's Re:Creation (Riot God Quest)

Hmm... While it is a bit late, I had quite a few ideas but settled on Wild Magic for this turn. Next turn I may try to introduce a "Pure/Order Magic" counterpart to Wild Magic, where it lacks the "has a chance to do whatever it wants" downside in exchange for a "it takes a lot longer to learn even the basics, whereas any two bit hedge mage could use Wild Magic. Admittedly, they'd probably die, but, still."

... Or I might just make bean people, lizard people, or whatever so there's living things, besides the crab people, to use Wild Magic. Not sure yet.

It's all about marketing. Your fighting an uphill battle.
You know thinking on it the magic isn't really even necromancy. You can't just move the dead with it. Instead it converts the animus of the soul into kinetic energy through complex ritual inscribed on the remains or the soul itself. It's just ritual magic using the soul as an energy source...
What's the energy source for wild magic while I'm on that topic?

It will really depend on how magic, in of itself, develops. Right now, am leaning towards "energy produced by 'wild' and 'primal' things, like plants, undomesticated animals, nature spirits, ect." But, could create a Wild Magic God that basically acts as the main source/conduit for Wild Magic. Again, really depends on how non-Wild Magic/Magic in general develops.

Give Staff of All Things as a gift to the first mortal creature I encounter, announcing myself as Annatar - The Bringer of Gifts. Leave right after.
I just put a little finishing touch to my act, because I am the Bringer of Gifts after all. So it would be reasonable for me to give this Staff away. I think, it is pretty symbolic way of announcing who I am in this world.

First mortal sapient or just first mortal creature overall...
Random sapient. I will wander and whatever I encounter first, would get my gift. Just destiny, luck or whatever. Not divine, but anyone lesser.

Technically, if it gets enough votes, the Lifestar would simultaneously count as a living being and a biome-developer to allow for more living beings.

Edit: It would probably use the Staff to create more living things anyway, as it kind of needs those to survive...

Edit 2:
Giant sapient radioactive soul devouring star and somehow I'm still more sinister... tragic...
It's all in the marketing, friend.

The general themes I have in my head are ocean and clothing/fashion.

I am starting out by making omnivoric animals to fill up the bottom of the foodchain, filling up of the scavanger and grazer roles. These are both crystaline and organic because I want them to be edible for basicly anything.

Feel free to make things eat that want to bully them.

I'm willing to trade.

[X] Fashion loving Turtle
On the bottom of the ocean the Foamgowned lady was lonely. And thus the births creatures with cells both crystal and organic. And tells them to go up onto land gave them strong jaws so that they may eat anything and return to the ocean to lay their pearly eggs so that the lady wouldn't be lonely anymore.
But the creatures sank and died.

The Gorgeous Lady came up with the idea she grabbed most beautiful stones and taught them how to carve these into shells. She knew that this would slow them down on land, but it would allow her children to carry air and float in the water and carry water, allowing them to breathe.
After her children were done with carving Tiania inspected the shells of her children to praised those who made works of art out of their shells and shame the slackers. At the end she decreed that each turtle should be a judge and strive to make pearly eggs with a turtle whose shell they like most. And teach their children to do the same.

And thus it was so.

Sure, I'll trade.

How could you betray me like this?/jk

I am afraid sacrifices must be made, for the sake of my glorious creation. I shall agree to a pact, @WallFlower

Edit 2: It has been done. I am sorry.

It should be noted that my creation also indirectly supports every living creation, through guaranteeing the existence of the sun and explocitly assisting in their survival, as well as indirectly giving credence to the existance of a vital energy, in the form of life-force.

I think that I have the two votes I need now.
The last act can go to where it's needed, which is either Ante's minions or the grass. Which are both one vote off from lesser.

I think I'm just going with Ante so that we have our first mortal race, even if I would have liked a mortal race more dependent on eating other lifeforms.

EDIT:
(I think that'd make them like lithotrophs if google was being truthful?)
Also yes, eating eating bacteria are Lithotrophic, wikipedia specifically mentions Photolithotrophy, though a more common way to describe them might also be to just call your minions are walking plants as they eat dirt and absorb sunlight.

You know when I made souls, I thought it would be Minor, Major at the most.
Minor due to magical idea
Major due to if your going to attribute souls as anything it would a mythological creature that, every creature is symbiotic with.

Honestly souls winning over necromancy might be a win for me... everyone loves an underdog story... and it gives me two directions to expand it as well.. depending on whether it is more or less than a soul is...

Through my actions, I am supporting several acts, If I get 2 more, I can ensure multiple other acts pass, it is thus my responsibility to do so.
As a preventative measure for this going forward, would you be amenable to formalizing a mutual support alliance starting next turn, with the stipulation of not needing to when taking support-only turns?

Would you rather I switch my Necromancy vote to Souls? Never mind. Apparently, as you currently have the necessary amount of supports to accomplish it, doing so would invalidate it. I haven't been keeping track of votes, so sorry about that. Will be paying attention to see if it's viable going forwards, though.

QM do you have a discord server for this quest?
Right now, several people are using squirrel quest discord to talk about this.
The disorder of it all shall be my undoing. You might even say... that it's bringing me discord!
