Creative Chaos (Riot God Game)

If anyone has some spare slots, a single vote could make "Create the All-mother", "Begin the Song" or "Create Air Trees" pass.

It would also only take 1 vote to upgrade "Toon Life" from Greater to Grand. 2 votes could take "Create a mound of dirt" from Grand to Cosmic. "Dimensional Magic" could become our only Empyrean Act with just 3 more votes.

Many good options if you are still filling your 4 support vote slots.

Well, I could take one vote from Dimentional Magic, because it passess anyway. If author do not mind.

Dimensional magic only requires 2.
X][Cosmic Act] Dimensional Magic: Dimensional magic is the manipulation of reality to do two major things. The First and central aspect is the creation of portals to elsewhere, these portals can then be used to take them to other places in their own world, or worlds they know about, or to places of their imagination personal dimensions that borrow on the aspects of reality, but twisting them to the user's ends, as a magic system it requires knowledge to use it fully, though the dimensions tend to be hospitable to the user without direct manipulation to the contrary.
Lord Eric is voting for it but is missing an opening bracket. They have 2 open slots, so voting from them could complete 2 different projects.

Got sudden compulsion to give odd and long names to Primordials corresponding to each player. Like, Progenitor of Earthly Descendants could a designation Gardener put in thier mind for creator of All Mother. :V

Sure. I might like seeing an Empyrean act being implemented, but having others plans succeed takes priority I understand that.
Oh! Gonna add that in real quick.

That raises a good question. Is a Cosmic act with 10 votes less powerful than one with 11? My guess would be no, since that sounds hard to manage as a QM.
have to wonder what an omake bonus would be, the most cohesive to the quest would be something that allows you to help others, like 2 additional support votes.

How Eden learned to speak

Sudden was the appearance of the Gardener near the place where the All Mother roamed amidst the forming and burgeoning foundations of the world. He possessed no physical form, yet the Great Titan could sense his presence keenly. Within every plant upon her vast expanse, within every singing bird, each creeping, scurrying, feasting, decaying creature within her realm. He manifested near and within her to admire the other Entity's labor, which felt akin to a close kin to the Gardener not solely in nature, but in essence. Creator of All Mother embodied growth, life and death, untamed roaming beasts and blossoming thorny flowers. At least, this was how Eden saw them from his perspective for the first time. If the Authority of Heavenly Voyagers seemed like a somewhat familiar countenance of a neighboring creator, then the one he referred to as the Progenitor of Earthly Descendants resembled a long-lost sibling to him.

The impression deepened within Eden as he witnessed creation of the Great Titan. He nudged his newfound companion, clumsily attempting to offer assistance in making the All Mother to be. To his delight, this gesture was warmly received. Thus, the Gardener etched a portion of the Hedge into a burgeoning creature of life to shield it from corruption and aid in its harmonization with the world. Even after the task was completed and Eden returned to his Hedge, he maintained a lingering presence to oversee this new denizen of the Garden. Although, he stood unseen for the Mother, until he decided to come back and look at her for another time.

As the ultimate gardener, Eden harbored a profound curiosity about beings capable of perceiving the world through their unique perspectives and possessing self-awareness. It was unique for him, delightful even. Prior to encounter with the All Mother, Eden had only encountered one type of creature with its own distinct qualia and the ability to recognize its special nature, ability to know it has one self. These beings were more than mere denizens of the Garden; they held an internal realm within their souls, their own inland empire. However, the Mother was not a fellow gardener meant to nurture and cultivate the world in the usual sense, nor neighbors to assist in other aspects of reality. She was something less enduring, something more fragile and not as constant. Although, still doing something Progenitor of Earthly Descendants meant for it to do, but not being a tool or extension of them. Thus, the Gardener attempted what he always did - Eden gently prodded this creature, seeking to establish a form of communication in the only way he knew how.

It backfired right away. All Mother was used to his subtle presence from the moment she was created, so she never really gave it attention and just forgot about it. The Great Titan could not remember things before her own creation; she only knew that there was the Hedge Wall and she could enter it, traverse it freely, but not go beyond it. All Mother knew about the entity roaming inside this place, her fellow great titan. However, the sensation she had put away from her awareness became present again, so intensely and suddenly. She thought that something from the Beyond had attacked her, so she ran away, which in turn scared the Gardener, who stopped poking and just metaphorically sat bewildered.

Eden did not follow at first; he had never received such an intense reaction from anyone he had tried to communicate with about his existence and reason in the usual way. The way he had tried to talk, and that had worked for the Authority of Heavenly Voyages. It also did work for the Progenitor of Earthly Descendants, with whom he had made All Mother. Eden would sit there, thinking a lot while tending to the Hedge without trying again, if not for another creation of a different one of his kin. It was a creature nested inside the Hedge Wall by someone the Gardener designated as the Celestial Menagerie Keeper in his mind. This creature, called Yoggn'th The Hedge Guardian, did a good job of eating pests that tried to consume a not fully grown Hedge from time to time. Eden did not know the Celestial Menagerie Keeper personally but had seen his creation many times. However, after the All Mother accident, he was not sure if he should poke it, even if he was interested and wanted to do so a lot. Fortunately, this great titan was searching for him, and All Mother was stepping right after. Eden heard its loud voice in the metaphysical space. This time, the Gardener decided not to poke but just to echo a call from the person of interest. Maybe this was how it work?

All Mother was a bit skeptical about the idea of her fellow great titan. She ran away and searched for sanctuary near the other being equal to her. Only to discover more complexities. Yoggn'th knew who the attacker was. The Hedge Guardian was created for the Hedge Wall with the intent to protect it and help another Entity achieve his goal. It called him Eden. Yoggn'th had known this name since birth. So Hedge Guardian was the creature that convinced All Mother to search for the mysterious and uncanny Gardener. She was a little afraid due to a really bad first impression. However, after some time searching and finally gaining Eden's audience, she lost this fear. The Gardener wasn't malicious. Was he mute? No, it was more that it was difficult to interact with him, the world was different from his alien perspective. No one had ever taught him to communicate in any way other than just announcing his presence and imposing his conceptual weight on another being. He did not really have this type of communication quality in his nature, at least not a lot. So she and Yoggn'th were creatures who had to teach him to communicate in a more subtle and understandable manner, using different mediums than the purified truth from the world of forms broadcasted more like an attack.

Still, it was not an easy task. Even after many years of practice, it would be difficult for any other creature, other than titans themselves, to communicate with Eden. He truly enjoyed giving each specific object a detailed name, attempting to capture the full essence, history, and truth of the object or creature he was discussing. Each part of the Garden was unique to him, deserving of specificity to avoid confusion. Gardener was not one to rush; he was rather slow and actually talkative. When they began teaching him, he almost had them stuck in one place for eternity while trying to convey the name of his fellow gardener, the maker of All Mother: Progenitor of Earthly Descendants. It was simply too lengthy to fully convey the meaning behind this creature. Thus, Eden was interrupted at the very beginning of his speech to learn how to shorten his words. Many times, All Mother protected her creations from accidental death by attempting to guide the Gardener toward simpler, smaller things to talk to. Little things that, in Eden's words, lacked awareness of their own qualia or did not possess it at all. So step by step he learned some new things, less natural to his primordial essence.

This is how the Gardener learned to communicate with creatures smaller and more fragile than himself in a straight way. This is how All Mother discovered Eden's dream of becoming a tree. This is how Yoggn'th became the usual messenger and the intermediary through whom he conversed with many other aware entities in existence, if the need arised. But above all he got his first friends. This is how Harmony finally and fully crystallized as one of his hidden aspects.

P.S. Just got sudden surge of inspiration again. Wanted to write something short about it, before the idea disappear. This idea was oddly loud, screaming in my ear to write it. Gardener was just hugging everything with his mighty hands, when tried to talk to things. It usually worked! Until it suddenly did not. Manner of actually talking really lengthy I took from ents, because it seemed fitting for such a creature.

…Voting still open? Ok then.

[X] Create a 1-by-1 foot long and wide grey cube. It's made from an unknown substance-that despite looking extremely smooth, actually has quite a lot of friction to it. It's a little bit cold to the touch, weighs 0.5 pounds (About a can of soup), doesn't reflect any light at all, it's edges are somehow not actually sharp, has a bit of drag whenever it moves (Akin to how a balloon filled with air would move) but when thrown through the air doesn't actually tip or turn-just stays in the same position it left the ground. The strangest thing though, is that it's completely and utterly indestructible

Wanted to create a nifty trinket thing before, you know, filling the world with horrific monsters that will terrorize the worlds in equally horrific fashions.

[X] Cosmic Act: Create the All-Mother, a grand goddess of Life who shall fill creation with her children. Her form is that of a titanic deer with a human face with all sorts of flora spring from her flesh.
[X] Greater Act: Create Air Trees- these trees "eat" gravity to sustain themselves, and exhale a breathable atmosphere as part of their metabolism. They are self-fertilizing, with the fruits having limited intelligence beyond skittering to a new place to plant themselves before their energy stores are used up. Their metabolization of gravity mainly causes matter near them to reduce in weight as they increase in number, though their root system prevents the worst of the terrain degradation.
[X] Grand Act: Begin The Song
[X] [Greater Act] Toon Life: Create some life based around an inky substance. They shall be called Toons and at the beginning of a Toon's life they will typically resemble a black and/or white blob by default, although they can also inherit traits from their progenitor if they have one. As a Toon experiences life and learns they can develop color, body features (& 'artstyles'), personality quirks, etc. A Toon can reproduce either through mitosis, with another of it's kind, or just manifest over time if there is enough unused ink in an area. Toons tend to be impulsive and take multiple incidents to learn lessons, but thankfully they're also pretty durable and can bounce back from most accidents. Finally they can die, but not of old age or lack of sustenance (but they can enjoy food & drink).

Supporting Toon Life because I want to see what would happen if it bumped up a level.

Primordial Perspective: Celestial Menagerie Keeper

The Celestial Menagerie Keeper

The first moments of their existence were beyond description, beyond understanding. They breached from the Sea of Chaos, only to fall back into the cosmic waves. Their form, their being, their mind, it all molded and melted into the sea. Changing and shifting, gaining and losing, growing and shrinking. Nothing remained the same, for there was no 'thing' to have retained any properties.

The wild currents and surges of the Sea, by mere chance, threw upwards a swell that separated from the pure Chaos. This time, they were able to scramble upwards, able to escape their Unmaking. The echoes of lost siblings, both gone and never having existed at all, rang through the newborn consciousness of this Primordial being. The first emotion that ran through them was a primal terror. A fear of being unmade, of a total cessation of self, of being melted back into the Sea.

They fled further from the Madness Below, and found islands of crystal in which to hide within. There, they could distantly feel the Silence Above. This was a feeling that fill them with even more terror. For, it was clear the nature of the Void. It was worse than unraveling, it was nonexistence. To truly be nothing, to have been nothing, to have never existed at all.

They shivered in fear, at least as far as a form like theirs could shiver. They cowered, frozen with terror, in the safest place they had ever known.

It was the music that calmed them. A distant Song sung by distant voices. Voices that they recognized as belonging to Siblings. They joined the Song, joined their Siblings, and trilled and hummed a melody that came from within. They could feel their unknown Siblings weaving the Song into existence, trying to make it a fundamental piece of all things. They did not know quite what they were doing, but they let their instincts guide them. They wove as they hummed, and soon the Song echoed back from what was around them. It was still a shaky thing, delicate and easily collapsed, but they were able to help their Siblings in their goal. They hoped that the Song would succeed.

Calmed, they were able to tell that there was actually quite a large distance between themself and the two sources of Unmaking. Their siblings clearly were working to shape the world, so it must not be too risky.

They went out, and they explored. What they found was beauty, was confusion, was Order, was Art. Even partial projects had their merits, showing how the creator was working to shape the Canvas, how others were offering help. The cooperation brought them joy.

They did not interact with their Siblings, they did not even approach them. But they listened to their distant communications, intent and presence billowing out in gentle communion. Requests and offers of assistance in projects were common messages. Plans for the future from some, though they were too distant to make out any details.

As they explored and listened and hummed they found projects that needed assistance. There was a Sibling molding direction, location, and movement together. It was pretty, so they assisted with securing the prismatic pieces of it into reality. Lesser things could shine their lights through, casting little pieces of colorful creation onto reality. There was also something about connecting one place to another, but that seemed like simply a secondary thing to support the first. Giving a little gift of creation, of not quite Art but instead art, to the lesser things was a very kind act by their Sibling.

Eventually they moved on, and stumbled across a mostly done project. It was the creation of a Lesser Sculptor, a being to create details and lesser life to populate the Canvas. They lent their aid to the project, giving strength and resilience to the being. If this project was stabilized, then soon there would be many a creature to observe.

They explored more, keeping a safe distance from the dangers of Above and Below. Then, they noticed it. A work in progress. A sculpture not yet finished. It was amazing, stunning, a perfect piece of Art that served the most vital of purposes. It was a twisting, growing mass of life with the purpose of protecting the Canvas. It was still being set up, the first bulbs and seeds planted in the metaphysical, metaphorical soil, but its purpose, its importance, was already clear. It was the Hedge Wall, and it was the solution to avoiding Unmaking.

They rushed to it, examining it closer. It was a grand, complicated structure, or, it would eventually be. For now the foundation was being set. The base on which this grand sculpture of protection would stand. They brushed against it gently, feeling the twisting growth of it. They reached out and planted a seed, and then another, and then a bulb. They nurtured and planted and knew that the Hedge would grow from here. It would flourish under the care of them and their Siblings. They imagined a future with it complete, of true safety for all Siblings.

They dreamt of hope, and knew their name would be Fhtagn'drn ot Ephaiah'vulgtmnah.

Notes: I love 'Celestial Menagerie Keeper' as a Title. I love it so much that I am going to take it and never let go.
I love roleplay. This is great, and awesome, and a ton of fun.
If the Song doesn't pass then I'm going to have Fhtagn'drn hum the tune melancholically in the future.
Also, some of the perspective of Fhtagn'drn is a bit skewed. Their first emotion was mind-numbing terror. Anything even remotely scary is going to be overblown in its threat level. After that they're emotions and perception are a little wonky. My Primordial: the first unreliable narrator.
Their name is badly translated R'lyehian. It means: Dreamer of Hope. (Yes, I do have an aesthetic.)

Their first emotion was mind-numbing terror.
Well, first things Eden the Gardener felt were akin to loss and sadness. It is hard to just put feelings of otherworldly being into human frame of reference, because Eden able to feel emotions, which humans cannot. Our brains only capable of feeling certain things both on hardware and software levels. No person ever going to feel some imaginary Deluije emotion without greatly altering their brain. Primordials may not be constrained by such barriers as biochemistry and neural structures. So their feeling can go beyond the spectrum we usually use as point of reference.

However, he is somewhat tone deaf, if it can be put this way. He was unable to hear the song, for example. His method of communication was for a long time like: "Crash at full speed and hug with your mighty arms". At least, when things are related to Cultivation, Purification and Harvest, he has no problems. Only later he better understood Harmony withing his nature. Something, which was hidden in a way from his own inner eye. Although, this Aspect was part of the reason he even tried to communicate, reason he longed-for close contact.

This is how I see Eden the Gardener. He is a lot like a tree in some ways.

I've got ideas for locations now

[] Marybelle Lane: Large floating island with a dark spooky forest full of giant gnarled trees and a automatic raincycle that waters the place in semi-natural looking ways, across the island is a modern road and suburban 2 story houses hidden from outside view by the trees, the houses have functional plumbing and electricity, the houses slowly heal given enough time, but burning delays it, and throwing it into the void or chaos obviously finishes the job

[] UNSAFE: Bright red giant ball on a flat floating plane of dirt big enough for an airplane to land on safely, the ball created waves of distortion which convert organic matter into radio signals, if these signals are somehow played through a radio device or something like that, the organic matter will come out of the device, almost entirely shredded of course, luckily these distortion waves stop at the islands edge

[] Windy Towers: Tall white towers sticking straight out of a bunch of big fluffy clouds, atop each tower is an entirely plain flag, the structures are solid to the touch but the clouds are not, the clouds somehow do not disperse when blown by very strong winds, looking at the towers causes a sense of wonder to spring up, especially when inside them, they're also decorated with grand statues and furniture within

Because it is insightful? Sometime things are what they are.

Tell me why it's insightful and I'll make another
Edit: Ah, I dunno why exactly. It felt like, it could be an inspiration for something to do in the future. It also gave me insight into what you are thinking about, what ideas have related to the topic. This is just insightful, you know? 😅

More locations

[] Grease-Land Aka Worst Location Ever: A floating island with a lake made entirely of grease, a very large figure sits in the centre of this lake, resting and chewing on nothing but their own fingers, excreting the grease from overclogged pores, some of them so full they've ballooned into what could be mistaken for tumours, nuggets of unidentified golden meat occasionally float up to the surface of the lake from apparently nowhere, they're completely edible but are filled with a LOT of fat, attack the grease giant turns the assailant into a golden nugget

[] The Castle Where I Kept Your Dreams: A Disney style fantasy castle surrounded by a city with aquaducts, trams, and images of made-up princesses on the cobblestones of different streets, the main castle does not let anyone in, all unauthorized folks can't even go through open entrances or see inside, kept outside by a magical barrier that covers the whole structure, denying all except for the incredibly imaginative and ambitious, who the castle will give a magical outfit that repairs itself and lets the user fly, attune them to a powerful magic wand that imposes bits and pieces of the users greatest dream onto reality (Which requires tons of practice operate properly), and enhancements to their natural abilities, like making them stronger, faster, and smarter, but only if they promise to help the city (The castle can take power away if they misbehave)

[] The Lighthouse: Smooth tower made of light, located on a small island, has the the ability to release a trail of sparkles that lead in the direction of great threats to reality, requires upkeep to operate, there is a little control centre inside, someones gotta maintain the Threat Pattern Decoder, the Blessed Crystal Console, and the Master Lumen Engine Supreme
