Only differences from @LordEdric 's plan are tiny formatting adjustments just so it looks nice in the vote counter and putting Joan on finding a diplomacy adviser action (I think that's allowed in addition to the personal action?). We want it to work because it helps us generate our coalition and cover things that aren't diplomacy, stewardship, or learning which we're actually kinda good at.

Fun thought, what if the Xelma Princess in charge of the war ends up having to lead from the front as a way to salvage her rep from so many setbacks in this war. Then we crit on one of the sabotage actions and we accidentally kidnap her(would be more funny if we were a guy)

Ransom her back? Hold her hostage? Brainwash her? I'm open to ideas.

Speaking of princesses, think the invitation for Frank to the party will involve a few bachelors look to get closer to the big hero?

Been away for the past several days due to real life being rough and there's a lot of things for me to catch up on.

Kindness from Another World
To be honest, it could have been better, but I'll accept the Omake. Look in the force charts for your reward, as one of the Basic Agents Groups have gotten an upgrade.

Oh that could be fascinating. Especially if we establish that we own our own stuff.
Having noblemen trying to court you at the feast is almost a guaranteed thing. In fact, you are starting to get a few letters from noblemen who trying to marry you or noblewomen who are trying to marry their sons off to you. All of the letters are currently stored away in a "I'll think about it someday (a day after never)" box, but you are starting to think that this issue will not be delayed forever. Athene might have some advice or plan to deal with the situation...

On a side note, I am surprised that the leading plans don't include general recruiting at all for either the martial or intrigue parts. And I've noticed that firearms training hasn't came up that often either. I'm just curious to know why.

We want to be able to double up next turn. We think we can survive on our current supply through the current war and then double up next turn and every turn after that.

Yeah, true but i was unable to add more, so better to post as it were rater than never finish it! But hey the first omake! I hope others will write more!

We decided that we didn't need recruits right now. We're going for elite for intrigue, and heavy knights for martial to hold the line. I originally wanted gunpowder weapons, but next turn we're planing to fight the bandits and guns are less useful in close quarters

OH shit. How are they gonna freak when they find out we're not exactly proponents of heteronormativity?

we aren't???

but seriously how we don't introduce homosexuality to a medieval culture because it doesn't really get us anything and might mean more problem then it worth it. and besides, I pretty much doubt the question of homosexuality would even appear because I am pretty sure non of our character was confirmed to be either gay or a lesbian so it pretty much up in the air so to speak.

by the I have nothing against homosexuality but trying to implant modern value to medieval society just seem both wrong and cringy to me while having no problem giving them advance technologies, mostly because I prefer giving them a choice in the kind of values they should follow either they stay the course or change their values with the time.

There's no particular guarantee of widespread homophobia in this setting. It wasn't even a thing in medieval Europe, not the way we would expect it.

that is also true so it's a good idea not to push the idea as we don't know what to expect about the setting.

Any setting with nuns-that-summon-actual-guardian-angels is going to have different gender norms than baseline Earth. Magic being a 'great equalizer' and allowing for anyone capable of it to defend themselves changes a lot of power balances that might otherwise tilt towards physical strength. Makes individuals capable of "defense of self and defense of one's domain" regardless of gender or size or strength and thus removes those things from being deciding factors in terms of things like inheritance.

Also, there's lots of things that magic could do that we haven't investigated because we've been in a fight for our lives for the last while. Some of them could potentially be...let's call them "relationally-oriented" as a term that is generally inoffensive and gets one's mind thinking along the line I am suggesting.

Not to mention that with a variety of different cultures you have a lot of different options. Perhaps the bunnies are matriarchal.

All that to say, us being an independent lady with some social standing isn't likely to be unheard of or immediately problem-causing for our neighbors and that's not even getting into the sexuality-that-is-not-their-business (or even ours, really, given the fact that it hasn't been relevant because we've been trying to figure out how to survive.)

Full disclosure, I will probably not touch on the subject of sexuality and homosexuality because there is a lot of baggage surrounding the topic that could get me, as the QM, in trouble if handled improperly, so do not expect this topic to be revisited anytime soon.

That being said, I have a feeling why the conversation started, so I would like to clear something up. The primary reason you have "rejected" those proposals is because you are quite against marrying someone that:
  1. You have not met face-to-face yet,
  2. Insists on marrying so quickly after the first meeting or letter, or
  3. You don't know why they want to marry you.
The same reaction will come if the proposer is a female, or if the sexes are reversed (i.e. Joan is a male and the prospective spouses are all females).

Culture clash! Political marriages before the enlightenment vs relationship marriages after. This should go great if they have an enlightenment scheduled some time in the next...
Oh no. We're their introduction to the enlightenment.

But I don't wanna be an enlightenment philosopher! They had funny hair.
