Hey! I came to the same conclusion.... Eventually....

Out of curiosity, would a few scales count as the ugly trait, or would they just be there on a snake Faunus regardless?

well if we had snake eyes and eyelids it would be considered ugly i guess since slitted and the membraned eyes arent the best scales would make it look like cracked skin

It's in progress, I ws just trying to quiz Raiu while he was still online

EDIT: Also for your build you've got six positive traits (Blessed by the Goddess Mother, Touched by Destiny, Idealist, Grimm Expert, Dus Aficionado and Dust Weaver) but you started with two traits and have taken three negative ones (Ugly, Weak and Cynical). I think you've overspenty by one.

You get another pick if you take clubfooted as the slave trait.

could the blessed trait give us a snakes increased control and manipulation of their body?

Quite possibly, yes, but that would be better represented by Agile.

A few scales wouldn't count as the ugly trait. Ugly is different than "You don't look good" it's "You weren't hit by the ugly stick, you landed on the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down."

Does Wroth count as a negative trait? Also what bonuses would Agile, Raider or Cutthroat provide?

Wroth is a positive trait, since it boosts your Martial. As for the others... That would be telling. :)

Can confirm, the amount is correct due to Clubfoot. In this case, Clubfoot means the PC was hobbled as a slave, and has difficulty walking on the hobbled leg, let alone running.

I was more curious if it would let us ignore the 30% of our actual strength limiter.

if we could ignore that then we could be the strongest person on the planet even if we took the weak trait.

(basically the brain forces the body to limit its strength to 30% to prevent undue stress on it, however if we can use a snakes innate manipulation of its body we could easily gain massive bursts of strength letting us become super powerful.)

EDIT: also we could get the massively increased healing factor some animals have... hmmm that would let us train much more effectively.

Unfortunately that amount of POWER OVERWHELMING tends to be in the realm of Semblances or dedicated Mistral Warrior Monks. That or inject-able adrenaline, which is a bit above your current tech level.

Astute readers may have noticed that I removed Huntsmen Training as an option. Mull over what that means, while I just thoroughly enjoy all these good ideas.

its not power overwhelming actually, that type of thing comes at a MASSIVE cost doing it in a human(ish) body. When a person does it, tendons start to strain muscles can snap, etc. Therefore using for too long a time would be like Midorya using all mights power except instead of broken bones we would have massive musculature and tendon damage.

Though we would be able to get a large power boost in exchange and could probably use the snakes muscle control with training to use up to 50% of our possible strength with training in that ability. That is not that much, only doubling our strength for our size.

Personal opinion on the flaws is...Clubfooted, Weak coupled to a primarily melee weapon is crazy. Clubfooted basically is a leg deformity, you'd have trouble walking, much less maneuvering in combat or running if losing. Capture is very likely without someone to carry you.

Coward is also a problem of course, but the tentative plan with that is to focus on a Dust technician/Dust Mage build, and run the hell away if the odds aren't favorable.

Not glamourous, but understandable for an ex-slave, and valuable for staying alive in a post apocalyptic situation where being unable to flee can be rapidly terminal.

I like Dust Wizard, but I also like Angel wings. So...

[X] Plan Dust Angel
-[X] Ikarus Schnee
-[X] Male.
-[X] White feathered wings
-[X] Champion Weapon: The Silberstab, a staff of bright silver metal with a long spike on one end, and a socket on the other, in which a carefully worked Dust crystal can be mounted.
-[X] History: You was the "Pet" of a tribal champion. He had taken an interest in you, stealing you from your original tribe in a raid. It had taken years for you to find the right time for your escape, but you did. In doing so, you made sure no one else would fall prey to your "owner" ever again. (Gain the Master Seducer/Seductress trait. One tribe in the area wishes to make an example out of you.)
-[X] Coward - You didn't survive this long by sticking your head out as far as possible. Gain a trait selection.
-[X] Cynical: Religion may be popular now, but it's never really been your thing in the first place. Gain one trait.
-[X] Awakened Aura: While the process is brutal, having an Aura which can defend oneself is useful in these cruel times.
-[X] Dust Aficionado: Dust is sacred to every member of your tribe, but you are a master in it's veneration.
-[X] Dust Weaver: The art of weaving Dust into threads is a mysterious and art, one which has been mastered by very few people. You, however, are one such master. Requires Dust Aficionado.
-[X] Spark of Insight: Madness? Genius? Who knows, but you have sudden bouts of inspiration that can bear exceptional result... If they don't kill you first.

What about just weak, but with awakened aura?

actually speaking of... the seducer trait would go great with some venom fangs where we could bite someone in the neck to kill them!

Just so you know, since you didn't take the Blessed by the Mother Goddess (it's called Goddess Mother in the list because I screwed up) trait, those wings of your's will be vestigial. They just kind of exist.

[X] Plan All-Encircling
-[X] Colubra Ezkutuko
-[X] Female
-[X] Snake fangs
-[X] Weapon: A khopesh, a sword shaped like the moon that gives you sight in the darkest nights.
--[X] It was passed down from one great warrior to the next, its wielders forging great ambitions and leaving greater legacies. It passed through the hands of four tribes and across the sea, each one becoming greater than the last before slowly fading, gracefully giving the blade to a worthy successor. Each one foretold that one day, the sword would bring one tribe to a greatness that would never end. That a worthy leader would bear it through toil and hardship, and emerge as radiant as the crescent it was shaped after. This sword is Elatha, the Moonscar, the Blade of the Crossroads. And you are its wielder.
-[X] History: Free Faunus: You were born into the tribe, and you have only see the pain of your people, never experiencing the pain first-hand. You were the favored successor for the previous champion, and were prepared for that role by the Elders. You have learned much from the Elders, and only fools would call their true teachings into question. (Gain trait: Mystic. People within your tribe gain +1 Relation (Tribal Insider). It's harder to break from tradition, with anti-traditional choices receiving a .5 weight modifier.)
-[X] Traits:
--[X] Cynical
--[X] Weak
--[X] Quick-witted
--[X] Blessed by the Mother Goddess
--[X] Dust Aficionado
--[X] Dust Weaver

History suggestions? Also willing to work on the name.

Thoughts, @veekie? @Chaeronea? @Cmd. Frost? @Hoshu? @san? @Miner249er?

Should we go with Branded Slave or Seductress? Also willing to work on the name.

You could instead go for Free Faunus and take the Mystic Trait. That is always an option.

Then again, the same can be said about @veekie and the Dust Wizard plan. Sure you'd be able to take less positive traits, but mystic allows you to actually be a wizard.

I'm annoyed that you forgot about me, Unhacker! But it's alright, I forget about myself sometimes as well

[X] Plan All-Encircling

It's time to be a Dust Wizard, much like the Schnees, the people we despise, ironic.

I'm sorry, oh Knight! I forgot to check those who hadn't voted!

If only I could use your text to make a Dio meme... Alas, i am not possessed of the... Skill? No... Maybe it's trollishness...

This is a little closer vote, especially given how the votes have fallen. That being said, I'm going to make this a run off vote. Here are the results as they stand now. Everything which is on this list will be carried over to the quest in one form or another.

Switched to Mystic, assuming nobody has objections(if they do I'd switch back).
Didn't realize it was needed to actually BE a Dust Wizard

Now since we have a bunch of one vote wonders, I'm going to extend the vote, but no new plan can be created. This vote will be extended for at most a day.

@Miner249er
@Chaeronea
@Cmd. Frost
@NúmenoreanNazgûl

You guys are the one vote wonders, and you all now have a choice. You can choose to stick by the plans you had voted for originally, switch your vote to another plan, or try to convince others to vote for the plan you have. At this point, you are the most powerful voters in this quest, since you can decide who wins, even forcing a tie with the current front runner if you all vote together. It's a powerful thing, the ability to decide who wins. Revel in it while you can.
