(all joking aside I like all three stories there and they each present different issues, I did not actually take my favorite story and lock it behind the worst consequences, that would be silly)

Look, I'm going to be blunt here. Las Noches cannot last. There are a few power centres that remain here, and Barragan is one of the ones who's a known quantity. Yes, he's a brutal tyrant, but he's a known brutal tyrant.

Let's suck up to him with a populist, crowd-pleasing opera that appeals to the lowest common denominator and gets everyone cheering his former deeds. As @Revlid previously argued, Barragan's patronage and favour is a powerful thing, and doubly so if he's roused himself to actually trying.

(Clearly it is time for the arrancar version of Leela: Orphan of the Stars with Ulquiorra playing the role of the Robot Devil. After all, he's a devil)

You claim these are cons. But are they really though ? Really. Voting for this because I want to mess with sad-bat and Smuglord Aizen. The fact that it'll also entertain the rest is just a bonus here.

All cultures have some recollection of history. Besides, I feel if we reach for the Coming of the King show our... peers will act arrogantly when facing the shinigami. I think we've covered the fact this organization will not last, but, for the characters we do care about, we should send a reminder about what will be happening soon.
