Zerg Quest RIOT QUEST

So we need 75 minerals for the Spore Crawler, 75 for an Evolution chamber. we've got 23 at the moment, plus 60 for the auto-drones. Which means we can afford one or the other right off the bat. I still want to get at least 15 autodrones up and running, so I'll stick to mining for now.

@Zedalb can a Zergling player still commission auto-drones? Or are they locked out of those kinds of actions?
A zergling can comission auto-drones.

Probably a waste compared to a drone or a dead person doing it.
But they can yes.

Tunnel:
The worms are building something, a huge structure of metal and flesh. It seems to be a centeral body and a great number of tentacles and mouths covered in metal plating and spikes. A type of super weapon, or structure? Your unsure but it seems that it still has quite some time before it is finished. It is deep into their tunnels and you won't be able to sneak in more than a zergling or two at a time.

Jungle:
The Giant Swarm is producing greater numbers. It seems to be ramping up a small army of zerglings but what is concerning is that more than half of them are in pods growing into giant banelings. However them pulling back to gather numbers has provided you a chance to steal some extra biomass without them chasing you off. (+30 Biomass)

Volcano:
The toads are going into some type of mating frenzy and great lakes of fire are filled with huge numbers of them as they get incredibly aggressive to fuel energy for their breeding and such. You will need to avoid the volcano for a few days in order to avoid their more aggressive behavior.

The new queen is born and provides a series of new options from custom evolutions to massively increasing the output of the resources. Though the birds have been seen getting closer and in greater number. Your growing in number but your threats are getting aggressive and spreading you will be fighting soon you have to ensure yo are ready for it.

[X] Improve mineral collection (Provide a +1 bonus to each die rolled for mineral collection in one area)

The Queen of Harvests Decrees that Minerals shall be Harvested! Follow orders for added efficiency!

ALL MINING DRONES MUST OBEY! (or miss out on +1 bonus) :p

But we did do scouting? I scouted the Tunnels last turn.

Can we do mining in the tunnels now?

Whoops the scouting resutls was below that, it was a carry over from copy and pasting last turn.

You can not, you can only submerge units underground.A player queen has to spend a heroic bonus (plus other costs) to do a custom reaserch.

So underground mining is possible to R&D now but custom stuff isn't cheap.

[X]Collect Biomass (2d10)

The Zergling wasn't hungry anymore. Oh, yes, the hive only needed a little more biomass. But the Zergling was just completely stuffed. It could barely even move , let alone hunt anything. There had been five frog things, a skinny bird creature, and even a giant deer-thingy, but the hive wanted more. So it came down to this: A bush with a few orange berries on it. Just eat a few berries. Should be easy. Pick up a berry. Hinge open the jaw. Stick a berry inside. Chew. Swallow...

The Zergling promptly fainted from the poisoned berry. (Quick omake to get that last 2 Biomass for our first Heroic bonus, probably for the Queen to use?)

[X] Scout Jungle (2d10)

The Idol Zergling turn it's her attention away from the Volcano, not because the toads had become more aggressive but because they were being so...so...lewd! Didn't they have any sense of dignity! The Idol was a Zergling of purity and should be exposed to such improper behavior, it went against her image!....idly the Zergling wondered if the regular exposure to the sulfuric fumes of the Volcano had caused some changes in her body's brain structure?

But that didn't matter right now! Because like a good Zergling she was off to search the Jungle for potential fans!....right after she finished enjoying some well earned rest by eating those lovely smelling berries she'd stumbled across while climbing one of the nearby trees to get a vantage point.

Alright, so, we're at 103 Biomass now. That's one Heroic bonus, which apparently the Queen can use for research somehow? Anyways, please don't waste it!

[X] Mine Minerals (1d10)

I am a Drone, my purpose is to mine, mine, mine, and mine forevermore to the end. I am one of many, one of the legions of faceless Drones who keep the Hive living. We feed the Endless Maw as to not get devoured by others ourselves. I am but one cell in a Titan of energy and movement. If I stray, rebel, the very action itself shall harm the Titan and the Endless Maw will bring the Titan's wrath on me. So I will work and work and work for that is my purpose.

(OOC: I wanted to try for a more grandiose style than what many others have done. This is my first time writing anything besides for school so criticism is appreciated.)

With the bonus to Mineral collection this turn, and the increasing threats, I think we should prioritize structures over more auto Drones.

A Spore Crawler looks like it'll be the most important, with the flying enemies getting more numerous and coming closer. I guess I could do that. Any objections, or anything else to add?

We do need to think about those giant Banelings. Honestly, in resource terms, the best way for dealing with them might be to throw a single zergling at each and try to cause a premature boom, but we might consider that those sound very dangerous for buildings. The worms are up to something, but its slow and not an immediate threat. Similar for the frogs. Fliers will be a problem soon, so at least one or two spore crawlers. Still deciding what to do myself, since my luck seems very poor...
