You are Lieutenant Zarr, and you were Prince Aumley of Zeon's most loyal companion.

But Zeon...
Turn 1-Intro

Lop

Location
Chicago

You are Lieutenant Zarr, and you were Prince Aumley of Zeon's most loyal companion.

But Zeon fell, and the prince disappeared. Your final orders were to take the 7th fleet and go into hiding, waiting for the signal that Zeon was rising again.

So you did. And now, a dreamless sleep later, the signal has come. You can hear it beeping outside your cyro-pod. Heat washes over you as the ship's systems thaw you out.

The door to your pod opens. You stumble out, balancing yourself against a nearby control panel. You get your sense of balance, then take stock of the room.

Pods all over the room are sliding open, and Zeon personnel are stumbling out. They will all take up to an hour to fully regain their senses.

Turn 1- Ships
[x]Check Fleet readout
You slowly make your way over to a computer console. You can't wait for the other technicians to fully wake. The signal has been sent, and the 7th fleet must answer.

You see the signal light flashing out of the corner of your eye as you bring the computer online. The signal already intiated the systems booting, so it only take a few moments for the screen to flicker to life.

You select the directory, intent on discovering what survived the long sleep. The first readout you check is the fleet. Your memory is fuzzy, but it slowly comes back to you as you study the readout.

It's not an inspiring picture. Sleep had robbed you of the memory of how far the 7th fleet had fallen.

The directory flickers as you press firmly on the buttons. The feeling is starting to crawl through your body, sending a strange burning sensation from your head to your toes.

The screen brings up the armor readout

You turn to a console and press a button. The blinking light announcing the signal ceases, and the center of the room grows dark. Lights play along the ceiling, forming a holographic map. Men and women slowly extract themselves from sleepsuits. Their Zeon uniforms wait for them in neatly folded piles by their cyro pods. They watch the display form as they change.

The seventh fleet is currently hidden under the third gas layer of the 4th Quadrant of Jupiter. The signal originates from the inner Earth sphere.

[X]Check Auxiliary readout

You return to the systems director and press the auxiliary readout.

Turn- 1 Player Prompt
[X]Go around and check on crew

You put a hand to your temples and rub them. Truly you will have to move quickly if you wish to aid your prince with such a meager force. You put your hand to the side and turn to face the room. Your officers, technicians and command staff stare back, now adorned in their Zeon colors.

"Men and women of the principality," You say, then cough. Your voice is hoarse. A command aid approaches you with a water pouch, which you accept. You drink from it, clearing your throat. "Men and women of Zeon," You say. They gaze at you, pausing their changing. "We have much work to do, where is Vice Admiral Kubric and Captain Lennstett,"

"Here," The captain says, zipping up his uniform as he approaches.

"Have you had a chance to check the personnel readouts?" You say. "I only have military,"

"All technicians, mechanics, and support staff accounted for,"

You hear, rather than see, Vice Admiral Kubric approach. He is a heavy man, and makes no subtle movement.

"Lieutenant Zarr," The Admiral says. "Have we gotten the signal?"

[x]Check map (inner Earth sphere)

You turn to a console and press a button. The blinking light announcing the signal returns, and the dark room casts shadows as the hologram shifts its display. The inner earth sphere, the origin of the signal, is displayed.

The signal is coming from colony 6

"It is settled then," Vice Admiral Kubric says, rubbing his chin. "We are to head to the inner earth sphere,"

"Yes, but easier said than done," Captain Lennstett says. "We must first make our way through the old routes, which have likely fallen into Federation hands,"

"Or worse," You say, quietly. Your eyes are trained on the inner sphere map. The date is wrong, and the display is a mere projection derived from old orbit charts and triangulation. Who knows what's really out there.

Your technicians are slowly taking their places at the command consoles. You walk over to your chair, then gesture for one of the technicians to open a channel. You put three fingers in the air, signaling all three gunships.

One by one, the captains of the three other ships in the 7th fleet appear in the holo projection. They salute.

"Captains," You say, taking another drink from your water pouch. "I trust your thaw is coming along,"

"What news from Zeon Lt. Zarr," Captain Massar says. "Are we to go to war?"

"I only have a location beacon," You say. "How are your communication logs, have you received any comms?"

The captains go silent for a bit as they consult the technicians in their own ships. Captain Levolt is the first to return.

"Lots of random chatter Lt., none of it makes sense, but it sounds like the solar systems been busy,"

"Then it is imperative we set out immediately," You say. You open a general comms channel. "Seventh Fleet, this is Lieutenant Zarr. Prepare for immediate departure for Europa,"

Systems blare and technicians and officers jog to their posts. You know in other parts of the ship, pilots rush to their hangers.

<Europa is the first stop along the way towards the Earth sphere. The captains' logs indicate Europa and elsewhere is populated>

Please select an available approach tactic
[]Scramble the Mobile Suits's and have them swarm-formation as the 7th fleet approaches
[]Assault Mobile Suits's only, swarm-formation as the fleet approaches
[]Send recon Mobile Suits's first <Indicate which ones>
[]Approach with Mobile Suit's inside ships

[X] take it slow, have the ships minimize the all use of their drives so that you can delay detection as long as possible. radio operators are to listen for any chatter from Europa to figure out how populated the area is.

The command is given. The 7th fleet rises from its berth, breaking through layer after layer of gaseous clouds. Finally the first gunship breaks free, sailing forth from the orange ink like a demon out of hell. The rest of the fleet emerges moments latter in the same manner.

An initial hard engine flare is used to escape the atmosphere. As soon as the last gravity ring is passed, all four ships cut their engines and cruise on inertia.

It is slow going, but Europa grows larger in the command screens before you. Finally, the long range scanners are able to pick up on the distant sources of comms chatter.

"Report," You say, adjusting yourself in your chair.

"Scanners indicate three large scale areas of activity," A technician says, scrutinizing a screen. "A large orbital base, a population center, and what appears to be a mining facility,"

[] Approach the orbital station
[] Wait for it to pass, attempt to deploy Mobile Suits or Armor near the population center
[] Wait for it to pass, attempt to deploy Mobile Suits or Armor near the mining facility

[X] Send Mobile suits to capture the station and then crash it into the population center.

The station doesn't look like a Zaku. From what I understand of the Zeon religion, that means it must burn.

[X] try and decipher the radio chatter, what are they saying?

"Well?" You say, leaning forward in your chair.

The two technicians you asked sit silent in their chairs, hands pressed to their earphones. One of them takes their earphones off.

"The orbital station's chatter is in two or three languages I can't decipher. I picked up bits of federation common, but not enough to piece anything. Significant military chatter however."

You nod. How long were you asleep? The chrono systems are off, you have no way to know. The second technician slides her earphones off.

"Population center and the mining facility are the same, minus military chatter. I noted potential comm check routines,"

"So the moon's military presence is in the orbital station," You say, leaning back in your chair.

"Where-ever we go on the surface, they'd be able to deploy to the planet shortly after," Captain Lennstett says.

"No matter, we simply destroy the stations forces and the planet is ours," The Vice Admiral says.

"I'm not sure about that yet," You say, intertwining your fingers.

Just to clarify, we are near Jupiter right?
So the location we are currently at belong to the 'North Korean' Jovians?
