Yeah, I had trouble thinking of what to call it. The only word that came to mind was 'quadrant' which wouldn't work because there weren't four of them.

If the cores were being destroyed, they would have been shown as such. This is like that bit at the end of 2.22, where a Lance was essentially acting as a kill-switch for an Evangelion.

There would have been a bit more in this chapter, but it was getting rather long and a cliffhanger like this is more 'wham' dramatic than the one that would have happened if I'd just kept writing, which would have been a 'what's happening?' cliffhanger.
 
Well, he could have left the vision going white thing out, but lynch mobs have been assembled for less.

I already got something like that in the works, except it's a lost shinji trying to get home but keeps on getting lost in alternate universes. Sorta like Ryoga Hibiki.

One of the world's his visits will be rebuild, everyone is gonna be soooo confused.:p

I really should post here more often, if only to give progress updates. The next chapter snippet keeps stalling me, and between that and the call of Video Games, I only have about two-thirds of an update right now. Hopefully I can get my shit together and finish it by the end of this weekend.

Somebody politely cleared their throat behind Asuka, and she whirled around to face them.

"Hello, again," said the newcomer. "It's been a while since we last met, hasn't it?"

The look of death now aimed at the figure would have sent any normal person running for the hills. The way the angry German girl was stomping towards them would have made that same person decide it wasn't worth packing. Asuka slipped past the casually raised hand they held out, before grabbing onto both their shoulders and slamming a knee into a certain part of their anatomy.
 
It's Kaworu/Adam, isn't it? That's the only one who makes sense to me.
