[x] Talk with Altria, Briar, and Cordelia about the bouts you missed. Briar mentioned something about the wooden sword user going crazy when the succubus tried to charm him, and ninja-boy Hikaru apparently overcame the allure - and you'd really like to know how he did it!
The girls don't appear to mind providing a recap of the fights you zoned out for. Enduring Cordelia's teasing, Briar's grin, and Altria's stoicism (which doesn't completely hide the amused light in her eyes), you get a fairly clear picture of the events of the two matches.
Of the four rounds that your group was present to see, the succubus started out with her aura of allure three times; it was only in the second round, when she fought another girl, that the young not-exactly-a-demoness opened up with physical attacks. From what you recall of that match, she's not a bad fighter, it's just that she has a particular "technique" which stands a very high chance of completely disabling any male opponent when it's used, and favors that accordingly. Going by what the girls have to say, your reaction to the succubus's charm was more serious than that of the ninja she faced in the third round. Where you zoned out but were still able to think - if only in an endless loop about why the succubus was and yet couldn't be the cutest girl in the world - the shinobi was still able to fight, but with clear hesitation in his movements. He wasn't as aggressive as he could have been, passing up several clear openings to strike, and he didn't employ much in the way of ninja magic - a single Body Flicker early in the match, and then only to run away. The longer the fight went on, the more reluctant the boy became to hit his opponent, until he was actively shying away from her. The succubus exploited that, tricking her opponent into taking a step back when he was already on the edge of the ring.
Taking all of this into account, you suspect that the young ninja's mental defenses were somewhat superior to your own, but not quite good enough to withstand the succubus's allure - especially not over prolonged exposure.
In the semifinal round, the succubus went with her standard opening move against male opponents, and at first it appeared to work completely. The young swordsman stopped where he was, lowering his guard and his weapon to stare blankly ahead. It was when the girl took a moment to preen triumphantly that something went wrong; suddenly screaming the name, "Reika," the swordsman began to attack like a madman, flailing away with no grace or technique, but a great deal of berserk fury, all the while shouting things like, "Why did you do it?" and "We made a promise!" and "I can't forgive you!" The succubus took at least two clean hits before she managed to get out of striking range, and she spent most of the rest of the fight just dodging, while her raving opponent steadily wore himself down. Briar repeats her speculation about the boy having a particularly painful memory that the succubus unknowingly unearthed with her mental assault; the fairy figures that the demoness found the image of this "Reika" girl in the boy's mind, attached to strong feelings, and tried to make herself appear like the girl in question, if only in her opponent's perspective. It's a common tactic for her race, and generally works out pretty well for putting people off their guard. This time, however, there was a lot more than just a first crush or more-than-best-friends affection associated with the selected guise.
Then there was the final round. Despite its backfiring in the previous match, the succubus once again made use of her default opener, but - according to Briar - with less power than she'd used before. Maybe she was getting tired, or perhaps the events of the semifinal round had shaken her more than she wanted to let on. Regardless, her allure didn't pack as much punch that time, and perhaps because of that, the last of the ninja competitors was able to ignore it completely. Neither Altria nor Cordelia could tell if he was using any special techniques to ward off the girl's supernatural charm, but Briar - knowing that you'd want to know - did some magical scanning. Her initial divination picked up no active spells, though the boy did possess the mana reserves of a fairly experienced caster, and while her second probe did pick up active ki enhancements, they were of the general augmentation sort, not specifically improving the mind or its defenses. That's still good to know; Briar weaves an illusion to show you what she recalls of what the boy was doing, and while it's fuzzy and a bit incomplete - not unexpected, given that it's a magical recreation of a ki-based phenomenon, as observed by a magical being who doesn't use ki herself - you do get some added insight into ki management.

While you and the girls talk, the arena steadily empties around you. At some point, you look up and notice that the crowd of thousands has been reduced to less than a hundred souls, scattered about the stands in small groups not unlike yours. A glance at the scoreboard clock shows that it's not quite a quarter after three. The seats where the Shuzen ladies were sitting earlier are empty, and you don't see Ayane's distinctive hair color anywhere, nor can you see any of the members of Kasumi's family among the people still present. You do spot Ambrose, however, standing a few rows back and waiting with what seems like uncharacteristic patience - at least until you spot his tapping foot, and see him take out a ridiculously ostentatious pocketwatch, which he makes a great production out of comparing to the time on the overhead clock.
What do you do?
[ ] Looks like Altria's "responsible adult" is here. Say your goodbyes.
[ ] Say goodbye, but see if you can invite Altria to dinner. And you suppose she can bring Ambrose along, if she must.
[ ] Say goodbye, but arrange to meet up with Altria tomorrow.
[ ] Ignore the wizard.
