Ward has its fans.
And they are one of the biggest reasons i have zero desire to read it. :V

I'm happy to leave the topic behind us, as long as other people don't bring it up either.
And that includes complaining about people liking Amy (in canon or fanon) in Worm because what happens Ward or the authors later claims.

I'm okay with people liking Amy, I just don't like people defending her actions.

I like Thanos but I also recognize that Thanos is an
asshole.

Also yeah, if you want to leave it behind, sorry. Let's talk about something else.

Like, someone should write a crackfic that's a love square between Victoria, Fragile One, Gun and Amy.

Is anyone defending her actions? And what specific actions are they defending?
Because if you are bringing Ward into this, then i don't fucking care, because from everything i have been told about it, seemingly by actual fans of it, makes me consider it not worth taking a look.
And if you are bringing in Worm, please go back and read again the constant back and forth on what is it that has been done and by who.

Personally, I'm quite comfortable hearing more about the mythical individuals in this thread defending Amy's actions.

It would make a refreshing change from the ones criticising them so hard they struggle to engage with them at all.

If so, what actions were they defending?

Because i am being serious and do not appreciate being mocked in general, and even less so from someone who decides to bring stuff up and then refuses to discuss about them.

What is the worst power in the Wormverse? We all know that every power can function in nearly every circumstance, however, powers like Swansong's Annihilation (Ascension?) and Crock O' Shit's Changer form adversely impact the well-being of their host.

Torso also has some issues. Rain's Mover -1 is also pretty terrible (I'm being slightly hyperbolic, but it's literally just freezing himself in place).

So what is objectively the least useful power?

Edit: It's probably Mockument in all honesty.

"You might be jumping to conclusions" indicates that there's something wrong with the assumption that Amy's obsession comes from Vicky's power. "I wondered if anyone would pay attention to that" suggests that there might be long-term effects to Vicky's aura.

It's hard to synthesize those two opposed implications into one conclusion, but the best I can come up with is that the aura was a minor contribution to but not the reason for Amy's obsession. Though I'm naturally biased towards that conclusion because A. there's no agency involved if Victoria accidentally brainwashed Amy* and B. that implies that Victoria is at fault for her own violation, which is more fucked-up than anything in the Wormverse.

*Amy's agency in her own misdeeds is compromised by being brainwashed, but since Victoria didn't even realize she was doing it (or that it was possible), Victoria's agency doesn't play into it either. It would basically just be...a thing that happened, I guess. Oops!

Look everyone, Nobody LIKES WARD!, the story is bad; the characters are Off-character (Crystal being a sugar girl who never see anything wrong, Vista wanting to be a little girl, Dragon being mastered by teacher (a impossibility) Vicky being a gigant bicht, amy ignoring her realizations.



Worm is Taylor story from the rise of Skitter to the Fall of Khepri; after that, is just a story who don't know where end; the titans? Bad done, Teacher? Awfull done, AMY? Even worse.



More than Half of the fandom ignores WARD for a good reason; Wildbow admitted than the story should have ended with Taylor's "death".



The only good things Ward showed where the characters of Fleur and Lightstar, who we don't see in the original, the rest? Pure AU Bullshit who is boring and Awful.

the shard mechanics and titans were cool as shit and I will forever tolerate ward's existence because of them!

If you disagree on this you are objectively wrong.

    So don't do this. I'd rather not have to infract people for this, so just avoid doing so in the future and everything will be gucci.

    Using ratings in a malicious manner? Without the context of closely following the thread, being drawn by the staff notice in my alerts, I found "abusing the funny rating" being listed as part of the mod notice funny, like putting Jaywalking at the end of a serious rap sheet, and so I pressed the button that indicated I found it funny. Is that not the intent of the button?

    Just don't rate things that are meant to be taken as serious with funny ratings. That's an all-encompassing rule that's meant to be upheld regardless on whether or not the post is from a moderator or another user.

    Practice common sense basically. Rating serious things with funny ratings is kind of really rude and disrespectful to the poster, ya know?

    In anycase the "Royal" shards would be the only ones to became titan, after all they are the "more valuable" and "the more closer to the Entities", and from that 2 of 3 became titans, the rest don't even appear:



    Let me remember you who of those are:



    Titan fortuna for the Q Path to victory (I believe and swear than that should be a Royal shard)

    Titan Valkirie for the Queen recollection (Gastling)

    And we never seen Titan Khepri
