Hmm, and who is this Johan? Only one I can think of is Johan Schmidt AKA the Red Skull.Pain
Chapter 1.1 ~ Memories

Summary: What happens if Taylor was with her mother when they had a 'car accident'? What happens when she doesn't fully heal before gaining her powers? What happens when Taylor has someone speaking to her? What happens if her powers revolve around pain? This is that story.
AN: This story follows an OOC (out of character) Taylor Hebert. I wanted to make this a one-shot but decided to extend this.
Inspiration came from several stories: Carnage, Retry/Reload/Respawn, Memories of Luther, Phobophobia, A True Hunter. You can find these stories on SB and/or SV.
This story is rather strange and extremely violent. You have been warned. I will not repeat this.
--------
"You should ask him where your Mom is. Didn't he say that she would be here?" Johan said.
You're right, I should ask daddy.
"Dad, you said Mom would be here today. Where is she?" I asked, curious.
"She'll be here later. Come on kiddo, let's get you some ice cream!" my dad said before grabbing my hand enthusiastically.
"Later huh," Johan muttered.
"Yay," I screamed in delight. Jumping up a little and then landing back on the soft sand.
We walked across the clean beach and waded past several other kids and adults. I accidently kicked a bit of sand on someone who was sleeping but I didn't want to stop. It had been an accident after all. After walking a bit, passing a lot of people, the ice cream truck was in sight.
"This is going to be awesome," I yelled, smiling.
"What flavor do you want?" my dad asked after we stopped behind some older kids.
"Blueberry," Johan said.
"Strawberry," I said ignoring Johan.
"No, no, Vanilla," I said, nodding my head as in to state that it was my final choice.
"We both know you're going to change your mind," Johan said, chuckling.
No I'm not! I...I definitely want Vanilla.
"Come on, blueberry will taste really good," Johan said.
"Alright kiddo," my father said still smiling. It had been so long since we had come to the beach but today was going to be great. Mom would finally come and I could finally show her that I could do a proper cartwheel. Maybe we could even hug. Maybe.
"Hugging, huh," mumbled Johan.
The longer we had to wait, the more anxious I got. I wasn't sure I wanted vanilla anymore. Before my dad could say anything to the man in white, I blurted out "Chocolate!"
Dad just laughed instead of responding to me. He told the nice ice cream man that he wanted two chocolate ice cream cones. A moment later, I had a cone in my right hand and my father's hand on the left.
"I told you that you would change your mind," Johan said, smirking.
Nu-uh! I wanted Chocolate all the time. You're just mad because you can't taste any of this!
We walked back to our little spot but when we got there Mom wasn't there yet. I wanted to ask, wanted to but Dad wouldn't have liked that. He said that I needed to be patient for her, so I was.
"He's right, you need to be patient," Johan said.
But why do I need to be patient?
Johan decided to not say anything for the rest of the day. We finished our ice cream and waited a bit before going into the water. We played for a bit in the water, I even found a few shells and then we made a huge sand castle. The day passed by before I knew it and by the time I remembered about Dad's promise, I was already falling asleep.
--------
Today dad and I were going to the hospital to finally see Mom. After begging dad forever, he said that we could finally see her. As we drove, my father spoke.
"When we get the hospital, a good friend of mine needs to talk to you for a bit before we can visit Mom. Is that okay Taylor?" Dad asked quietly.
What, why!?
"Just agree with him," Johan said, sighing a moment later.
"Okay," I said, moving my legs up and down in excitement.
I get to finally see mom!
It didn't take too long to get to the Hospital and when we finally got inside, my dad told me to calm down a bit. I nodded, trying to push down the waves of happiness that was radiating me.
"I can't wait to show mom that I can do a proper cartwheel," I said.
Dad and Johan for some reason both didn't respond to me but that was fine.
"Sit here for a bit okay, I'll need to see where my friend is," Dad said, pointing at a grownups chair.
"Okay!" I chirped.
Dad went to speak to some other adult for a bit and when he took longer than I had expected, I played thumb wars. It wasn't as fun I thought it was going to be but there wasn't much to do. That going boring quick, so I looked around for something to do. I saw a magazine that had a pretty lady on the cover, so I grabbed it.
"I wouldn't open that if I were you," Johan said.
What, why? No! I'm going to-
Before I could open it, to see what was inside, dad finally came back.
"Okay, my friend is ready, let's go," he said. I put the magazine back and then dad went to grab my hand. I let him and while I smiled, he didn't. I wasn't going to let his little sad cat mood deter me. Today was going to be amazing. It didn't take long to reach our destination.
"Hello Daniel, this must be Taylor, I'm Robert" the old man said smiling at me. I wasn't sure who he was but Dad had said he was his friend, so I tried to be nice.
"Hello!" I said, letting go of my Dad's hand.
"Why don't you both sit," the man said, waving to some seats across from his little room. The room looked rather comfy and the walls were full of nice colors. Unlike the rest of the Hospital.
"Do you remember what happened a month ago Taylor?" Robert asked.
I looked at my dad but it didn't take too long to see that they were waiting for me to say something.
"Um, with my mom and I coming back home from the grocery store?" I asked.
"Yes, that. Do you remember?" Robert asked.
"Uh.. Mom took me to the grocery store and then….we drove back, only that…" I said before stopping.
What happened again...oh!
"Oh, I remember now! I fell asleep and then...I woke up," I said, smiling.
I looked at my Dad and then asked him what I wanted.
"Dad, can we go see mom now?"
He looked at Robert who shook his head.
"Sorry Taylor, we need to talk to my friend for a bit more before we can-" he tried to say before I screamed.
"You promised!" I said, getting upset.
Why won't he let me see her?!
"Taylor, can you look at me for a second" Robert asked.
I turned my head towards the old man.
--------
"Snowflake, do you want any bear snacks before we go?" my mom asked, holding back a laugh.
I looked up to see my mom and then squealed.
"Bear-Bear Snacks?" I asked in delight, screaming in joy.
"Yep," she said, laughing a moment later.
I jumped up and down for a bit before mom told me to calm down. While my mom pushed the grocery cart to the delicious area of the store, I decided to run ahead. It didn't take long to see the special snacks that my mom only bought when I was good.
I wasn't sure what I had did to deserve such sugary goodness but I wasn't going to complain.
--------
I woke up with a start, breathing heavily. I hadn't had one of these type of dreams in a long time now.
"You're finally awake huh?" Johan asked, smirking like the massive prick he was.
I grumbled in annoyance before getting up and getting dressed for school. I decided to go with teddy bear socks, black jeans, a pink shirt and white hoodie. After making sure I was absolutely perfect in the mirror, I grabbed my black and red school bag before going downstairs.
I reached the kitchen and saw my father preparing something.
"Eggs and bacon okay with you?" he yelled.
"Yeah," I said before sitting down.
--------
School wasn't that bad but damn was it boring. It had been for a long time now. No one who mattered gave a single shit. Not even the teachers cared.
"Hey look, it's your favorite friend," Johan said.
I looked to see who, and then saw the bitch. I walked up to her, casually ignoring everyone who was staring at me.
"Bitch," I said smiling, looking at the girl in her eyes.
She looked at me and then smirked.
"Red," she said.
I smiled back, and walked past her. She followed.
"You hear about what happened with Sophia yesterday?" Emma asked.
I sighed, rolled my eyes authentically and then stopped in front of my locker before responding.
"Yeah, I heard. Is she looking to die?" I said, whispering.
"What-no! She was just trying to help-" Emma spoke a little too loud before I cut her off.
"Oh please, spare me the speech mother," I mocked.
--------
"You think this is a good idea?" Johan said.
"I'm bored alright?" I said.
"You told me that you wouldn't ever be a hero," he said, insisting.
Well.
"Well what? You're seriously considering becoming a hero, like that stupid black girl?" Johan said.
Black girl?
"You never told me you're racist," I said before laughing.
"I-I'm not! Now, why do you-" he tried to say before I interrupted him.
"I'm not going to be a hero, alright? I just want to go out and have some fun, alright?" I said.
"How long has it been since you used your powers? Do you even remember how? You know how dangerous it is outside, especially for a girl like..." Johan said taunting me.
"You prick, if you had a body I would make you eat your words!" I growled before getting ready.
He didn't respond to me while I got dressed. If someone by some random chance did spot me, I wanted to make sure no one could identify me. Although, wearing a ninja Halloween costume that had a thin material that covered my face was a pretty poor disguise, it was the only thing I had. I would need to buy something else later.
It wasn't like I was going to fight Lung or anything.
--------
AN: So that's it for now. More to come soon. Also, this is what Taylor looks like, without the sword and brown hair sticking out of the back.

Also having Taylor still be friends with Emma when's she's a bully is a interesting idea, I'm interested in seeing what comes next.
