Knock knock knock.
Victoria Dallon eyed the front door for a moment, curious as to who would be visiting the Dallon residence on a Saturday morning.
Her mom had to work, Ames was sleeping from a long night at the hospital and her dad was slowly eating cheerios in the kitchen. With some trepidation, she opened the door.
What she did NOT expect was her little sister's girlfriend to toss her a knife and say, "I need you to cut off my leg."
Vicky.exe rebooted after a moment.
"I'm sorry, what?"
The short girl, and she was really short when Vicky was floating a solid foot and a half off the ground, sighed, "My regeneration just got better and I need to 'test it'," Eve said using air quotes, "I know it got faster by like half, but I have no idea how fast it was originally! So testing! Leg! Knife! Chop chop!"
Vicky stared down at the obviously military grade knife that she'd grabbed out of reflex and then back to someone who she was realizing the shovel talk wasn't going to be very effective on. "Right... and you want me to do this because...?"
Eve huffed, "Khepri is doing something with her dad today, something about house work. Amy is prooobably sleeping and told me not to wake her up before noon on the weekend..." the determination in her expression deflated, "don't know anyone else I could ask for help with this, plus you're a brute right? That's like... a lot easier to cut through bone than just using my own strength."
On the one hand, this was a cape who was being considered as sane as the Fairy Queen but was being called a mini-Eidolon. On the other hand, her little sister's girlfriend (and future sister-in-law! Maybe! Possibly! It was a whole new world of possibilities since Ames showed interest in someone! Two little sisters! One hundred percent more targets to tease!) was asking a favour.
A finger tapped on her chin for a moment before she nodded at Eve a smile slowly spreading on her lips, "On one condition."
The shudder that Eve gave her made Vicky realize she found something better than a shovel.

There are many things Coil had seen during his throwaway loops.
Twas the nature of the beast; when you can literally hit the reset button, things tend to not matter much and you can do some rather... inventive stress relief.
Such as right now; he was running two timelines; a safety one where he sat at his kitchen table, reading the newspaper. The other was Coil sitting in his base, watching through a helmet camera as his soldiers raided the Dallon residence. He periodically did it, just to see how easy it would be to capture Panacea if he ever needed her services.
You never know until you know.
Entry team entered on the top floor, which avoided Flashbang and any warning he could give. First objective was to take out Glory Girl as her mobility made it so that any kidnapping would have to deal with her regardless.
What he was not expecting to see through the team leader's helmet cam, was two girls sitting in a bathroom, one calmly painting the other's nails, as the other looked like a wet cat trying to escape...
...with a pile of human legs of varying lengths including a small mound of toes sitting in the bathtub half filled with blood.
The fuck?
That was all Coil was able to think before not Glory Girl yelled "LOOK A DISTRACTION!!!" and grabbed one of the legs and smacked the team leader in the head causing a flesh explosion, shattering the camera and therefore the connection.
Coil thought for a moment. Wondered if it was worth splitting the timeline again from his safety to investigate. Investigate why the Dallons had a bathtub of human legs.
After a moment he shook his head; he had more important things to do.
I was excited because I thought the better regen and resist to poison/toxins would win. It did not >_<
Nor did the durability for tinkertech which was surprised about! I would have thought not having to spend time daily to make her tinkertech stay functional would have won...
Oh well.
