World of Chaos - Fantasy Crossover NRP

Killing all of them will be hard, the odds are I simply kill enough of them to send them running far from my reach.
In Islam, Mohammed has been revealed as the prophet to both djinn and man. Considering that, in 20-30.000 years noone saw a single lizard person (because there's no aliens in the Duniverse. There's at best the Tleilaxu and the Guild Navigators but they're just GMO humans altered either in a lab or by exposing themselves to MASSIVE doses of melange) and that djinn likely made it into Fremen mythos (they're still pseudo-Muslim and they're mentioned in the Dune Encyclopedia), I guess that nobody ever saw aliens coming and that if they will be seen, the results may be unpredictable.
As for Zen Buddhism, I just don't know enough about it so I wont speak, but I'd rather stay away from stereotypes.

Consider this: mankind in the Duniverse IS quite genocidal. They launched a crusade against every sentient, thinking machine, because a bunch of them who managed some hospitals on Richese were aborting babies without having their moms know about it. They waged war against them, destroyed ALL OF THEM (thinking, sentient AIs and even people within machine bodies) and forbid computers from being developed ever again. As a result, most of the functions that we usually delegate to calculators or computers are performed by mentats, people who are trained to think as fast and efficiently as computers.
People can be true assholes there.
So.. Basically its "Bene Gesserit" manipulated menkind into it?Because that was the reason Jehane Butler went crazy, her aborted child would have been the Kwisatz Haderach.
The BG wanted to erase computers as a kneejerk reaction -and because they are at heart a stone-age matriarchy.
I agree that Aliens are unseen in the Duniverse... Crompton was a fake by Leto II... still, the theological justification is iffy, since Islam also has no demonic creatures, except for wayward djiin...
And, well, I guess scared fanatics like these Fedaykin can do dumb things.

Whoops.. Actually, how well would your faction act to me?
Hm.
Humans of the age we come from where still pretty much neolitihic barbarians. We would be UTTERLY confused.Still, no racuists, but the opposite..our forces have gnomes, dwarfes and some (Few) halfelves, not to talk about DRAGONS .So, we would accept you as very strange , but civilized-The magic less tech is intriguing, local tech level is high renaissance/antiquity,no printing presses (And Espruar IS a letter script...), so we could get some bright ideas from you, if you would share.
As long as you do not decide you have to do a crusade for democracy or Thor mistakes us for dark elves(Highly unlikely) , we should be fine..Remember, Ng , N, Lg, Cg, Ln , Cn in AD&D terms..with a goverment tehding to NG/Lg , idealists with a traditionalist bent.

Interesting...
I think we would accept magic (Fury might, considering he's director of SHIELD, Obama.. Might not.) Honestly, I think if we met, there might be trading going on and maybe a alliance.

As I said... unpredictable stuff would've happened.

..... Okay... If they met the Autobots/Decipticons what would happen? Because I fear for JARVIS now..

They'd declare them as abominations and, probably, would have their butts kicked by them in their attempt to destroy them.

... just a random question, but what continent are you on? Not at all asking so I can keep the half A.I people far far away from you, simply curious.

Northern Malibderan.

Given that it's fantasy tradition for everyone to be able to breed regardless of species and that the scientific definition of species is "able to breed and produce fertile offspring", would half-lizardfolk be seen as proof that they're just a really weird offshoot of humanity or illicit "kill it with fire before it lays eggs" reactions?

They'd probably be seen as even worse stuff. The elves for now are safe by simple virtue of being similar enough to men with a few differences, the officious position is "huh, maybe they're just a human ethnic group from somewhere else who adapted better hearing" or something like this, though once they discover they're not humans, I have no idea myself of what they're going to do.

I'm reading about Islamic views on alien life, maybe I can find something useful and, who knows, less suicidal.

Since the Fedaykin Fremen seem to take a "Are there strange Animals on your world?"Purist approach informed by Bene Gesserit purity of bloodline/Anti-gene manipulation traditions..the latter, I guess.
I read up on the islamic view and there are enough verses in the Quran that seem to indicate life- inteligent life-on other planets as a) existing and b) servitors to god, held to mankinds standarts... although we are obviously amongst Gods favorites...
Of course, Zensunni islam is several tens of millenia in the future... but they are a HIGHLY traditionalist people.

Thing is there's apparently a few verses in the Quran that appear to indicate the existence of alien life but 20.000 years and two "more Islams" passed, together with syncretism with Buddhism and the spread of mankind to even different galaxies (God-Emperor has Leto II mention being the head of a multi-galactic empire), and not a single alien has been seen. Wouldn't people kind of lose hope?
Yes, right, Fremen are traditionalist, but not towards the Islam of our time, but towards THEIR traditions, which exist millenia of years in the future.
Fremen have a very Islamic face and that's almost a miracle all things considered, but keep in mind that, for example, they mention gods (plural) a few times and that's pure shirk (polytheism) there. Also, if Bene Gesserit are witches according to pretty much everyone in the Imperium, and if magic is sinful in Islam because it involves dealing with djinn who'll eventually make the bargain absolutely not worth it... why do the Fremen have their own witches, what are they doing with sayyadinas? They even learn more "magic" from Jessica, we discussed the prana-bindu martial art earlier. I'm quite sure that, for a modern Muslim, Fremen would be a quite superstitious and sinful folk.

SMALL ADDITION: The identification of God with something as tangible (very, VERY tangible) as a sandworm is also quite idolatrous for Islam.

We should also keep in consideration that, at the end of the day, Fremen religion doesn't even appears to be about "love" but about respect for authority and social cohesion (something that eventually spreads outside of Arrakis but also devolves in an overly-ceremonial bunch of rites with a corrupt priestly class, by the time of Alia's regency).

They could keep them in internment camps while their Imam equivalents discuss what to do.

Sin.
And risk a breakout? They're just people against big, scaly humanoid reptiles and big bugs with what I can assume is a pretty resistent shell. Sounds unwise.
The various kinds of Saurians range pretty hugely in scale; some are tiny and diminuitive; others are giant scale. They're as varied as the roughly humanoid kinds of fantasy races. The average here are about 2.3 meters tall and mass in at 230 kg on average with little size based dimorphism (males have more colourful crests though).

The Coleopterans are similarly variable, but the ones here are slightly shorter then the average human; though with the dimorphism in size reversed (females are on average 1.7 meters to the male's 1.5). They live like the in between of southern turks and the bedouins.

Okay got my global inferno posts out of the way; working on responses now.

@Frostbyght
Posted your intro.
Your camp is under attack by the Black King.
Your enemy has the numerical superiority, strange creatures and occasional black agic on his side but technologicall they're around the middle ages.
So while they did ambush you with a large army I don't think it's anything you can't deal with.

I can also make you an unit rundown if you want.
Though to be fair you only need to make your first reaction and initial battle orders for now. I'll write down additional details and results after it.

As for the others, I'm working on their intro, too. i just made this post on my train route and for some reason SV didn't save it. So I had to push send and I'm using my computer to do the rest now.
