Now we can blame a variety of things, the Giant Explosion that wiped out Antarctica by Scientists poking at something they really shouldn't have.
Blame the massive climate changes caused by said ice caps melting so spectacularly.
Hell blame the world war that started because of all of the above. Because I'm not. We were marking time the moment it happened.
There was a bright side though, the guys that were left kinda got their act together. A second renaissance born out of desperation. Somehow despite the loss of the seasons, we were making a comeback.
Cyberpunk was becoming a reality. Both the good and the bad. Mostly the bad but, there was some good...to be found.
