Well I'm just gonna be a comic geek and compare some of Marvel and DC real quick.
I'm interested in seeing how @Moonfeather will combine the two
- Universe Police Force
- DC: Green Lantern Corps, have power rings
- Marvel: Nova Corps, have helmets that allow them to access the Nova Force
- Hercules
- DC: Not a cool dude, Amazons hate him
- Marvel: All around nice guy, was/is an Avenger
- New York City
- DC: Nothing happens here, because it and Gotham are two different cities.
- Marvel: Everything happens here, everything.
- Swamp People
- DC: Swamp Thing, connected to The Green the elemental force of plants
- Marvel: Man Thing, guards the Nexus of All Realities in the Everglades, those who know fear burn at his touch

This is pretty neat. I could see the uncle being similar to Qrow or Shunsui but I'm not to familiar with the 2nd guy.
Like Zilla said Majesdanians look rather rainbowy in their natural state, however I'm sure with training they can look any color they want. I do like the picture choices. I could see Sola looking like one of the women in the pictures above. Her appearance will be ultimately be decided by the readers, I haven't described how she looks in the previous snippets for this reason.
The plotting for this quest will take a bit longer than usual, since everything is so wide open. Unlike the quest this was inspired by there is no canon storyline I'm adhering to and that makes it hard to form a central plot or antagonist. It doesn't help that marvel and dc have a ton of storylines to choose from with multiple interpretations. Adding the fact that it's a combined universe and plotting can be come a nightmare, I'm not sure what characters should appear and when. Anyway, I'm working on it.
