Listing stats changes of options just pollutes the chargen process.

Can you explain more? This is to make you to think and to limit readers from picking something just because it has the most power or something.

Also I feel it's relevant to the choice selection.

Seems to be a couple of ties between, trait, alignment, and Magic specialty.

[ ] New Element - A random element that is not apart of the main five Elements, allowing for specialty techniques most other beings cannot use, there is a higher probability that unique element will also be the person's Focus. (LCK -)
-[ ]Random
This would be the most fun imo.

So I've been brainstorming a bit, trying to figure out were I'm heading with the quest.

I'd figured I would combine various elements from both universes. I'm most familiar with ultimate mavel, so a couple of storylines may show up here. I've also read the mainstream x-men and spiderman runs from the 60's to present as well as the Bendis-Hickman avengers past secret wars 3. I do plan on touching on the Marvel Cosmic stuff as well (Annihilation arc, Thanos, Galatctus-etc.)

As for DC I'm less familiar but I've read a couple Batman, Superman, Wonder woman runs, the new 52, and all the crises except for final and some current lantern ones. I've also watched the Dcau and young justice but I'm a little fuzzy on some things.

I'll be pulling plots from all of these areas.

The start of this quest will happen in correlation with start of a teenage Peter Parker's career as Spidey.

I haven't decided when the Justice League and Avengers form in relation to this.

I'm curious do you guys think are MC should become active before Peter or afterwards?

I vote slightly afterwards. Gives us a bit more motivation to become a hero.

[X] Sola
[X] Heart
[X] Chaos - Used for the creation of anti-matter, or time travel, reaching parallel worlds and other things. (LCK - , END -)
[X]Ether/Darkness - Manipulation of the void and higher spiritual realms and pure energy.
[X]Lust - You're impulsive and you have strong unbridled—a thirstful desire, intense longing and compulsion to achieve your and goals to get what you want even to your own detriment. ( MGK +++, SPI + , END - )
[X]Gratitude - Being grateful for what you have in life, acknowledging and feeling good about what you have. (SPI +)

So I was having a discussion with another fic writer and he recommended that I actually not combine DC & Marvel because things wouldn't be consistent or make sense.

I thought really hard about it, but im not sure... would you guys like a pure Marvel quest or not?

I'm cool with pure Marvel, it's the setting I know best.

You let out a silent yawn as you stretch yourself at an extended length. The bright afternoon sunlight shines on your body, giving you a nice warm feeling of pleasure as you sit at your desk near the classroom window. As Mrs. Davis drones on and on about the ramifications and importance of the learning American history, you find your mind drifting off.

It's not like you to not pay attention in class, however being a new student at in a large human school for the first time has taken its toll on you. As you mindlessly flip through the syllabus the teacher had given you at the start of class, you think of your past.
Article:
What is your past?

[ ]Lost Exile - You were a young child when you learned your parents were exiled from the planet Majesdane, along with extended family who have changed their Majesdanian names and currently go by the last name alias "Dean." Your parents have taught you their history and your families place in the glorious Majesdanian empire. You have learned much about your race however you are still content to live amongst ordinary humans.

[ ]Military Brat - You have traveled from the planet Majesdane with your parents, who were given the task to scout other planets for resources and conquest. Your family along with many others that have integrated into Earth's human societies are part of the part of a special Majesdanian black ops force, unofficially known by other civilizations as the "Light Brigade." You are a young mage who has trained from a young age to be an Elite mage of the Majesdane Magi Order, working in tandem with the black ops force to bring glory to Majesdane.

[ ]Neophyte Scholar - You are a young student, studying and learning on Earth as you were sent there by your parents to stay with a relative, as you try to find yourself approved of the Majesdane council. Nothing will keep you from your goal and you find yourself relentless in trying to become a part of the Majesdane council on the motherworld. A part of the people that decide everything about the planet Majesdane. A group of men and woman that hold the Entire Majesdane empire in their hands. You desire to be a part of that.

As you find yourself back in reality, you look around the classroom. It's a full house—maybe too big in fact filled with about twenty-three students, most of which you find are not paying attention. Girls are whispering loudly, blatantly sharing messages with notebook paper while the teacher is talking. A lot of students are busy texting on their phones trying to hide the fact by doing so under the desk. Some don't even try to hide it having their phones out in the open.

You notice the stuck up Hispanic girl with blonde hair—Liz Allen, you recall, as she whispers her weekend plans to her friends. You could already tell she was one of the more popular girls in your grade. Seemingly being the life of the class disturbance, everything revolved around her. You could tell from how the girls anxiously waited for her judgment of their little scribbles. How the guys sitting around her and her group of friends would touch them playfully in an attempt to get their attention, most of them leering at Liz when they thought she wasn't looking.

Liz Allen happened to be the boyfriend of the Flash Thompson, the school's up and coming football star—something you've learned rather quickly in the short time you've been here. He was considered to be the most popular—and attractive—underclassman in the school, but to you, he wasn't much to look at. It wasn't that he didn't have good looks or even that he was ugly. It's just... as you view him and two other friends harass the short boy with glasses trying to read in the middle of the class, you have the nasty feeling of a knot being tied in your gut.

Class soon finishes and feeling that end of the day could not come fast enough you pack your things and grab your backpack. After heading to your locker you make sure you have what is necessary to complete tonight's homework. You've met a couple people today, particularly during homeroom and lunch, but not anyone you'd really consider a friend.

Since your house is close by you don't need to take the bus. You can get there quickly on foot. You find yourself lingering in the crowded hallway of students, wondering about your next move.

Article:
What do you do?

[ ]Explore the School - What's the fun in going home so quickly? It's the first day and you assume it's better to look around and explore than lock yourself up in your room. Who knows maybe you'll make some friends? Home is only a few blocks way.

[ ]Go Home - Why not go home and get started on your studies? It wouldn't do to fall behind, in both Earthworld and Majesdanian homework. You're in the process of learning magic to be an Elite Majesdanian mage after all. Maybe you can talk about some of your school experience with family in the process.

:o Watch out Steven Strange and Victor von Doom, you've got competition for Magic Power!

[X]Military Brat

I really like this because it will make for great drama as we surely come to care about the Earth and its people. Also the military training should really come in handy.

[X]Explore the School

I'm sure we won't run into that scrawny glasses-wearing guy that we felt bad about seeing get bullied. I mean, what are the chances that he could become super important or anything? :D

Though I voluntarily choose not to research the names I'm seeing, I agree with the reasoning afore-given.

We should definitely get to work on improving our F and E ranked skills, especially Luck and Defense.

Oh, our character sheet's up, let's have a look at that....
  • Magic :
    • Natural: Master
      • XP 0/4800
    • Dark : Master
      • XP 0/4800
    • Chaos : Champion
      • XP 0/9600
:o

Seriously, we're amazing at Magic, yo

Chaos is a level below maximum
Champion (SSS Rank) - (4800xp) - Your skill is awe-inspiring, capable of sweeping aside those of lesser worth with minimal effort.

and Natural and Dark one level down
Master (SS Rank) - (3200xp) - You are truly a force to be reckoned with, and others will seek you out for power or advice and guidance in improving their own skills to a similar level.

I think we can safely focus on other skills for a bit :D

We must learn all we can before someone conquers Earth in this timeline.

Like Kang, Doom, or a competent M.O.D.O.K.

[X]Go Home

Better check on our parents before we get a case of Superhero Parents Syndrome.

Hmmm, so looking at our skills, I'm thinking that improving Bioluminescence a little so that we can easily suppress our natural shine to keep our abilities a secret would be good.

Boosting Flight might be good, but I'm not sure how much our crazy magic skills overlap with it. Same with Light Energy Blasts.

Increasing Enhanced Strength and Enhanced Durability , and Force Fields would be good since more defenses is always nice. Same for Heat Manipulation if we have to go somewhere incredibly hot.

Boosting Solar Energy Manipulation further would also be nice since it gives us reserves to draw on for stuff.

And of course our advanced skills Item Construction and Territory Creation should have all sorts of cool applications.

A narrative superhero/villain quest ? With combined Marvel/DC universe ? Sign me up.

[ ]Lost Exile - You were a young child when you learned your parents were exiled from the planet Majesdane, along with extended family who have changed their Majesdanian names and currently go by the last name alias "Dean." You parents have taught you their history and your families place in the glorious Majesdanian empire. You have learned much about your race however you are still content to live amongst ordinary humans.

Could be a "regain lost throne" or "leave me alone, not interested" quest.

A "all hail Majesdane" or "betray your kind for new home" quest.

A part of the people the decided the everything about the planet Majesdane. A group of men and woman that hold the Entire Majesdane empire in their hands. You ache to be a part of that.

For Science/Glory ! The question is, will we be involved in events as hero/villain or "I just want to study/gain power !" Bystander ?

So much potential I'm confused to pick which, however :

[X]Explore the School

Exile ? Socialize ! I enjoy being humies.

Military ? Intel gathering, might be some random supes here.

Scholar ? Study "how hormonal teenager behave in educational institution"

[X]Neophyte Scholar
[X]Explore the School

We seriously need to increase our F rank stats, especially our Luck - seriously, F- rank Luck in a mage of our power level is just asking for a catastrophe. The other thing we should concentrate on first is our Bioluminescence skill - if we're literally glowing then we literally cannot avoid being noticed, not just by potential supervillains but also mean and snarky schoolkids.

Also the Neophyte Scholar background should help us bond with Peter Parker here :)
