Those who vote in the form of a plan can simply add free votes if they wish. To be honest, I'm not sure that the format of the plan was appropriate initially - there are no obvious synergies between the options, and the plan in this situation simply serves as a limit on the votes. And it doesn't look like we're going to come to a consensus.
Heeeey. Further Afield and Integrated Orphan synergize wonderfully.

All of your arguments are broken down by one remark.

He has a stupid name.

P.s. I don't even understand how this applies. We know that elves have names consisting of one word. And nothing was said about surnames, patronymics, and nicknames. I thought I'd leave that up to the author's imagination.
The only normal name is objectively only for Black.Horus
Broken down? You say that as if it can't be changed. Black Horus, I'm sorry, but I'll have to 'borrow' your hard work for a bit.

Ah, good to know. It'd make some rudimentary sense to, for a clan that's been established in one place so long to have a different name scheme. think I'll keep Black Horus's name, but just add 2 more similar sounding names.

Okay, they say no plan survives contact with the enemy and trying to do new things with the Quest mechanics has proven to be my enemy so far.

To everyone who made a plan, thank you, I love you, your service will never be forgotten.

However, it seems like plan-less voting is working out better for this Quest, so, if you'd like, I encourage you to break down your plans into Approval votes (and add any features you'd also be okay with). If plans are not broken down, I will do it manually when the tallytime comes along.

Thank you all with your patience with me as I fumble through my first Quest.

No one needs a minute of uninteresting facts.

The name Solvaron can be divided into an abbreviated version of the Russian word Sun "Solntse" and the word Raven "Voron".

Therefore, for me, the name of our hero has the meaning of Sunny Raven.

The Linguistics Minute is over.

Aye aye, capitan. And farewell.

Well, I already said my persuasive piece for the Margravian Wingtip and Elder Conclave. It's a solid synergy that allows us to develop our own unique style and culture differing from other Elders and have a support system to fall back on, in case of anything (whether that encompasses the character getting robbed on his first night, or us requiring a master to teach us more about our class and abilities).

I would like to sue. That 'minute' of yours was only thirty-five seconds!

If you show imagination, then instead of the Sun, the Roman coin "Solid" is even better, whose abbreviation for the Russian language (if anyone even comes up with this word) seems more natural.

So the second transfer is possible as Money Raven.

The third transfer may refer to the fact that the coin is Gold. Golden Raven.

Gold pairs well with the Sun, so it can be said that a purely elven style of suggestiveness was used in the selection.

P.s. Now fit in a minute?

Good enough. Lawsuit avoided.

Now, does anyone have any ideas for physical characteristics? I still feel Unnaturally Average is a good pick because of our Mesmerist class, but I'm open to other ideas.

We create distinctive features. Distinctive.

Your proposal includes a whole set of features. If we choose him, we won't need the other two votes.
Hey, being really really average can be a distinctive feature! Being so normal that it's abnormal is special in its own way. And besides, I heavily doubt that CoatRackRanger would disallow two more characteristics. He'll find a way to make it mesh.

Huh, while you did get the Sol part right, I originally made it in reference to Sauron honestly. Though the fact that it also referenced Raven when I am crow is a pretty funny coincidence, and makes me liking it more.

Well look. Unnaturally average blocks us:

A) growth. We are of medium height.
B) physique. We have an average build.
C) Skin or hair color. (I didn't understand what the Dark One refers to) We are average for Malgravia.
D) hair. They are average, although there is a question.

In total, at least 4 categories are blocked, and this is because the rest are difficult for me to understand what the rest are responsible for.

Two of those, skin/hair color and hair are heavily contestable. Remember that depending on what we choose, our features would probably be average for that specific region or place. In the case of us choosing whatever birthplace we want or the Elven Enclave, what we choose will set a precedent for what the others in our region look like.

I can't say much about physique or growth, but I'd like to point you to the list of appearance traits that are given. Namelt the triar "Unremarkable". Looking at it, it's clearly synonymous with "Unnaturally Average", and although they may have their differences, they're both steps in similar directions. Yet CoatRackRanger still put it there. This directly implies that even though it would make us 'average' or 'normal', we can still choose two other traits.

As I said, I trust the QM to make it mesh well, or figure something out. I mean, he's already done that for our class and personality trait mix, no?

You corvids are incorrigible. Clever to a fault, you definitely left that hint in there knowing Bylba would decipher it. All apart of your master plan, eh?

Dammed be all, foiled once again. You will not get me next time you abominable Duck!

We both know that the far lands backstory option won't win. (Plak-Plak, or how is crying depicted in English?). And everyone else is very close geographically so that "incredibly average" is not different.

I don't know about you, but for me (if you imagine a conditional scale) Unremarkable is 1, and Unnaturally Average is 3.

Well, that is, the first means that it is difficult to pay attention to us, but if it is focused on us, then they will remember.

And your version is more likely - I peered into his face and forgot after 5 minutes.

Crows vs. Ducks, a tale as old as time.

As I mention in the post, traits are meant to come in pairs, usually. Unremarkable pairs with Striking and selecting one would remove the other. @Nigerian Duck had it on the nose. Unremarkable was meant to imply that people forget you easily. If that got paired with something like Beautiful, maybe it is a twist of your psychic powers that cause your face not to stick out to people, rather than actual features.

But anyways. If something like Unnaturally Average was to be picked, I wouldn't lock you out of other choices. Instead, you would be "Unnaturally Average except for X and Y." So, average but scarred. You could even be Unnaturally Average but Beautiful, in which case that probably means that you look so like the classical beauty standard of your culture that you blend into a crowd anyways. Well, a crowd of models.

@Bylba Russian lesson much appreciated! I think Sunny Raven is a fun contradiction in imagery that might suit your character, if certain votes go certain ways. Also, Money Raven is hilarious.

A duck can dream, Bylba. A duck can dream. The Elven Enclave is in the lead though, so the smaller genepool can still have an effect. (Crying's usually depicted as "boo-hoo" I believe.)

CoatRackRanger clarified it, so that's that then. We can still be Unnaturally Average and have the synergizing benefits it brings with Mesmerist, but also stand out in a way with our other 2 traits.

Careful, you called that a benefit, not me.
Ah, that's meant to be related to my previous words about the possible benefit of Mesmerist and UA. The "CoatRackRanger clarified" part was directed towards you saying it won't lock us out of 2 other traits.

And speaking of traits, for our final personality one we've got a five-way tie between Materialistic, Reckless, Serious, Kind, and Naïve. Maybe someone wants to switch their vote around for something else? Either way, we'll be an odd sort of character.

I really like the personality result we got. I've been reading Pride and Prejudice recently and Honest, Proud, and Kind kinda describes the OG tsundere, Mr. Darcy.

Ah, striking? Sucks for me then. No UA, or even unremarkable. 'Focused' never got a chance as a trait either. Hmm.
Well, maybe one day I'll get something in.

I don't believe there's any way to tally them together except by hand, so your goober status is highly debatable.
