Revolutionary Girl Utena. Predictable answer is predictable.

Sounds good, thanks guys, you're the best. As for what I'm going to watch next start pitching show so I can put a poll together for it.

As it stands Utena, Fate Zero, and Jojo are on the table. Witchblades is a no of what Google tells me.
Utena.

Fate/Zero is too seriously minded to make a funny review for, and would be better suited for a more analytical style.

JoJo is fun to watch but hard to comment on. Your review would be nothing but "oh that's silly" and "wow that's fabulous" for 50 episodes straight.

*See's 'Write-in' option*

Have you seen The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya? It's a good watch. I'd suggest watching it in Broadcast Order, rather then Chronological Order, to make the reviews funner for us.

There may be a censored version, censored in that her costume covers more of her body so that it is a body suit instead of bra and thong.

Kill La Kill Ep25

- And the vibrant crazy awesome coloring I loved about the series is gone once more :(

- Really Nani Sore?!, you're probably just jealous he stole all the good puns at the end.

- And Ninja Turtle still calls his attacks.

- So that was a thing in show! The Heel Click of Power and the Light of the Glorious Leader weren't just something only the audience could see. Kinda makes me wonder if the could also see all the spotlights.

- Man Honnouji got wrecked during the fighting

- Everybody else is packing and Snot Balloon's family just chucks their entire house onto the tricycle car.

- BWAHAHAHAHA just when I was starting to wonder where the leaves were coming from Ponce shows up. Where can I get a miniature tree like that?

- That Hallelujah light didn't even come with a Hallelujah or the pose!

- The shot of Nani Sore?! and minions was funny and really cute at the same time. What were the shoving in her face by the way? I think it was flowers.

- What the hell are Tron and Ritsuko Mk II doing? Because whatever it is, it's starting to generate the power swish lines.

- Glorious Leader's throne room is destroyed, but at least the chair survived.

- Call back to first episode GOOOO!!!

- Red light =/= White light, somethings up.

- Wait so the Glorious Leader that was behind Glorious Leader was real?!? What the fuck?

- If this is because of fucking time travel I'm gonna throw something.

- After making all those cracks about how Red Stripe became a Psycho Ranger, the real Psycho Rangers have appeared.

- Yes, because Tron always has the answer. /sarcasm

- Nani Sore?!... Pot meet Kettle. Kettle this is Pot.

- Viral to the Rescue!

- I think that is the fastest I've ever seen Ponce disrobe. And his least suggestive disrobing too.

- They have mechs now... They have now become the Power Rangers!

- SHADES FINALLY FUCKING DID SOMETHING!!!

- But what African nation is a certain one? I would say, "Welcome to Dubai, gentlemen." But the UAE is in the Middle East/Asia

- So that where Shades' shades came from.

- The Academy itself was a Zord? That 's even more over the top than the SPD base being one. Who am I kidding this is Kill La Kill, everything is over the top.

- The cheese joke from Ep 4 makes a come back too?! I thought that was a one off.

- What...

But... with the Zord... but... it even had the intro... HOW???

- I wonder if the Zord is trying to copy all of Snot Balloon's movements.

- Now you know how everyone else feels when you shout that during a fight Ninja Turtle.

- That's a big ass pair of scissors...

- Ouch... nut shot, not cool Red Stripe. Even on a mecha, not cool.

- BOW TO YOUR QUEEN, SAVIOR, AND GLORIOUS LEADER:KIRYUIN SATSUKI

- So that's where the island went after the finale.

- Where did they get a LCAC???

Okay that wraps this IWIW up.

Going into this my expectations were mostly that it would be a fighting series and it most certainly was. The opening established just how over the top the show was and it delievered on the crazy over the top action without becoming stale. The exposition was a little heavy handed but I guess that's the price for the show's pacing. On the topic of the pacing, it may have been a little too fast. Bear with me for a second here.

The show could easily been a few episodes longer and while I think the show is just fine as is. However, it could have benefited from showing more of the side characters, working the exposition in more naturally, and showing Ryuko training. Even if it was just for a small part of one of the episodes a Rocky style montage showing Red Stripe working to become more powerful would have been appreciated. Without that it felt almost as if she was complaining about her lack of power but not doing anything to fix it.

About the side characters, I wanted to know more about Isshin and Mohawk (I never really paid attention to his name). Isshin set his plan into motion years ago and Mohawk was apparently important to their research at one point. Having them be more fleshed out would have been nice.

Those are my only issues with the show. The rest is really good once you can get past the scantily clad women. My biggest recommendations to anyone I recommend this show to would be to make sure you can lock your door, have headphones, and (after you reach the point where Ragyo is revealed to be the real villain) make sure you look up the symbolism and puns laced throughout the show.

There a two types of symbolism: meaningful, story improving symbolism (This show and PMMM) and symbolism for the sake of symbolism (NGE). Learn the symbolism, it will make the show even better.

Coming Soon: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure or Revolutionary Girl Utena unless Fate/Zero or Haruhi pull a come from behind victory.

See you all soon.

KLK's pacing was kinda rough, yes. Certainly the sudden genre shift at episode 3 didn't help matters. Then again, this was Trigger Studio's first anime and it was a fully original work. They couldn't just copy/paste the pacing of a manga or light novel for instance.

So that was a thing in show! The Heel Click of Power and the Light of the Glorious Leader weren't just something only the audience could see. Kinda makes me wonder if the could also see all the spotlights.

The giant red subtitles were also a thing that the cast could see/interact with too. Excluding Nui who broke the 4th wall many, many times, Nonon shot her own subtitles during the Colosseum fight with Nui.

JoJo has something similar to the subtitles, although they aren't as fourth wall breaking...

What foul secrets does this toilet hold?
