Ah, the Xanatos strategy. Sensible.

If you become independent, there might be many butterflies.
Pretty much, although I will say right now that my plan will not involve building a massive Dreadnought to attack Stormwind. Seriously the amount of time and effort that went into engineering that thing is just a waste. You could have done more damage by investing those resources into simply hiring more mercenaries or something.
Planception.

A lot of my plans really depend on who gets to play as the Horde.
Well to be fair my plans are focused around the immediate area for the moment, I mean on one side I have Stormwind and on the other I have whatever the hell is brewing in Duskwood. There is no way I can win through a straight out fight, so I will need to be tricky in order to win.

Depends on the context. The Silver Hand sees the Syndicate as rebels and criminals while the Syndicate sees the Silver Hand as the remains of the hated Kingdom of Lordaeron. Gilneas has not any relatiosn sicne the completion of the Greymane Wall.

I'm going to tentatively say Halloween (for my own reasons) though that depends on me getting players for key states like the Horde.
Gilneas, tis a silly place.
... Wow.

Last one; what about between the Expedition and Kul Tiras?

And is absorption of NPFs right out?
Kul Tiras expedition had come and gone, IIRC.

Honestly, I never thought that plan would work. Even -if- you got it into place, Stormwind still has guns, ships and artillery capable mages! Its not like a 2nd War Dreadnaught was invincible in that conflict either.

Well to be fair the ship is simply based on the Dreadnaught design so the Defias Ship likely had some upgrades but you are 100% right that the plan would have never worked. Honestly I blame early WoW writing for some of these issues.

Honestly I am still surprised that was the plan they went with, I mean for pity sake Edwin was trained by the head of SI7 with the intent of eventually having him join the organization. You would think that he would be able to think of a better plan with his Black Ops training and having his organization contain the people who build the city thus knowing Stormwind inside and out.

i am 90% sure that it was not the full plan but rather the main point of the invasion. They would use the ship to beat stormwinds fleets and focus their attention and then they would infiltrate and take stormwind itself.

Possibly, still I think there would have been easier ways to accomplish their goal that didn't require them wasting so much time and effort constructing such a massive ship.

Sorry, sorry, just a couple more.

1: Are there dynastic actions?

2: Do we know the ages of canon characters?
1. There can be. What do you mean?
2. If you can find them online you can use them but as long as you use your best judgment that's fine.

Kul tiras or the scarlet crusade taking over the alliance expidition for example.
That would require the four remaining Alliance nations (Kul Tiras, Gnomergan, Ironforge, and Stormwind) signing off on it.

so if say, gnomeran ironforge and kul tiras signed off would that be enough? At least for them to be absorbed by Kul tiras or to force them under their command.

Though, it's hard to imagine this being practiced with all the different races in this world. Is there any other canon example other than Moira?
I mean, its just not talked about much in canon. I'd assume a fair few marriages were just that; but then, a lot of the Kings in Warcraft seem to have been able to marry for love, so who can say.

Sylvanas/Anduin pls!

Calia and Prestor was certainly more political than emotional. It was considered ordinary enough that no one outside the Menethil family visibly batted an eye when Terenas betrothed his daughter to Daval/Deathwing.

To be fair though, Prestor was also doing some deep mind control shiet at the time.

Ooooooh, this is Early Lore WoW. Calia is mine. yay.

I guarantee you she is not on Theramore.
Huh. Damn.

(Since you've said you never played WoW Ceslas, essentially for a long time people thought Calia Hastings, an SI:7 agent in Theramore was her, in disguise, working with her friend Jaina. I know they had actually changed that by now).

The "not playing WOW" is no longer true but thank you for telling me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Kaldorei state is a military dictatorship ruled by the religious leader and (when he's around) her husband, the minister for the enviroment. I don't think I'll be able to send purple/blue waifus abroad for dynastic alliances (if I get to be the NE player).

If I were to play them as xenophobic as they seem to be for a lot of WCIII, then I can see only one possible ally for them and it's not Stormwind.

@Celsas, what are the colours for Khaz Modan factions?

I reckon that Grey is Ironforge, Yellow next to it Gnomeragan, Brown the Dark Irons, Dark Red the Dragonmaw, that little green-ish island belongs to some Goblins?, then who are the ones on the north east, the Mustard-coloured ones?

The last one is the Wildhammers who are protecting their ancestral lands.
