Welcome to Brighton (Mafia game)

Day three begins.
Day three begins.

The village sleeps peacefully through the night, only to awaken to a gruesome sight when they assemble. A corpse, ravaged by the ravens, set upon the foul altar. A head count is not needed, as the new victim's name has, of course, been inscribed by dark power into the altar itself.

@shadow shinobi, the Village Hunter, has been [sacrificed in the night].

He was a member of the Village People.

The town discusses their fears and suspicions, shaken by the gruesome corpse.

Day three begins. Day three ends in 72 hours, April 8th, GMT 11:51, or when hammer is achieved, whichever comes first. Hammer rests at seven players.

Okay, now I can post this.

it's good i guess for town. If you wanna kill nanimani tonight then feel free to do so I won't hold it against you.

Hmmm.

OIT!

Nanimani you won't be able to kill our beloved final Traditional Wizard tonight. Winged Cat please kill the person I am trying to lynch tonight.
but y tho

y u h8 witch hunters

so meen

there is no benefit to killing wingedone for town. Hunter faction and

OYE WHAT THE FUCK? he's independent for gods sake. I am so mad at everyone going along with the open hunter faction when we don't need to do so.

OOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Okay, but seriously, why do you care about this so much? We're both neutral, unlikely to fuck town over, willing to help. I believe the Witch Hunters can be of more help due to there being two of us with actual abilities (I said atk was telling the truth when he claimed vanilla, you know.), but it would be understandable if Town didn't want to go for either faction and just let us solve it ourselves.

But why the hell would you reveal, make yourself a target, and then make absolutely sure you're not stopping maf's kill for a neutral a faction that wants to ally with town needs to die? You were adding so much more risk for literally no gain. Why even? I do not understand this. Why? Why?

Anyways, I haven't won yet despite the wizards being all gone, so...

[X] Lynch Bahn

Let's get the day started. It's day 3, time for the Bahn curse.

Nanimani- "Hey guys, I know we killed all the potential people Town could have worked with, like I said we should, so let's keep randomly lynching so that I can win!"

How about Nanimani is obviously lying.

Kinda wanted to see if they would verbalize that without being asked, I mean I'll believe them either way because I can't imagine them actually being scum because thats just a whole other level of insane play to be scum and do what happened at the end of day 2.
I mean, when one already has a demonstrable tendency for being a fucking lunatic, does "that would be crazy" really mean much?

Are you a fucking idiot?

Oh, I should add that I have not received any information from Terrabrand.

Oh, by the way, @Rikimaru
Were you roleblocked last night?
Assuming he was I've got a lead on who did it. Finally got something useful info-wise myself. Could've been that the Maf had a bypass kill or that he was bluffing though.

Even the Wizards agreed Hunters weren't a Scum faction, just opposed to them in particular. When even the people who actively want a faction dead don't try to say that faction is Maf I'm inclined to believe them. Though not enough to bandwagon without reasoning, especially since I've got one of my own likely as soon as Rikimaru clears up if they were roleblocked.

was a Traditionalist Wizard. The Traditionalist Wizards have lost.
A note: I edited the prior day's end post after posting to specify this.

Also, modvote:

[X] Lynch Rikimaru

Other posters also posted after hammer, but Rikimaru did so twice, the second several minutes past. I can believe others didn't catch it before posting. Rikimaru's second post is beyond my willingness to extend good faith.

Actually, wait. Shadow and Rik were targeting each-other at the suggestion of someone else, even though that strategy has a glaring weakness in the (potentially hostile) roleblocker, who was a known factor long before that strategy was suggested. And if they did follow that suggestion, the maf would know exactly what two of the more valuable roles in the game were doing, allowing the to effectively do whatever they wanted.

And the person who suggested this course of action despite these factors? Pawn.

Until a better target arises or pawn presents a solid defense, I think I'll vote for him because I find that pretty suspicious in hindsight.

You've got a good point there. We do need confirmation from Rikimaru first, and I will wait for TPK's response to me before voting, but thank you for bringing this to light. PL is now on my sus list.

Ah~ come on Nani. Is this retaliation for Day 1 :V
Day 3 Bahn curse? I am unaware of this precedent do tell.
Day 2 curse actually. It's just a little joke. I had a string of consecutive games where I always seemed to be lynched on D2 or killed on N2, never making it to D3.

Anyways, caught up on what went on and wowza that was a flurry of posts and reveals. Almost as much a charlie foxtrot as that one night last game.
Anyways since it's pretty much obvious who our other Hunter is we got both of them pegged. We can keep either one of them as a safety vote in the case we can't ferret out a likely suspect to be scum.

So at first I was gonna say why didn't you point it out before Terrabrand 'locked' posting if it was so obvious, but then yea I saw Pawn posted the proposed chain of actions only a few minutes before lockdown so that wouldn't have given you enough time to counteract properly.

Yea, it really seems like Pawn set up the scenario to get rid of one of our two known investigation roles...which really sucks. Yea, Pawn I honestly don't see how you can pass this off as an honest mistake.
