[X] Krorod Goldmight knows how to deal with greenskins (and also how to cook them)

[X] yourself of course

Letting the Maneater Ogre lead our forces to assist the Dwarfs sounds like a massive diplomatic fumble like my God it almost sounds like we're intentionally attempting to burn that bridge.

[X] yourself of course

also rather have any achievements here by won by us and not by our potential rival who could use this to come back and claim power

The whole point of the plan is that we make connections with the Dawi. We can't do that if we send the guy who talks like Hagrid gurgling water.

He's the perfect no nonsense guy to interact with dwarves , with the true and tested diplomatic strategy of being very good at killing a lot of orcs

Would the Dawi be hostile towards ogres?
While dwarves do not have the same ancestorial hatred towards ogres that they have towards skaven and greenskins they're not actually very favorable either
Korod is probably the most militarily skilled of the options, but as a diplomat he may leave something to be desired
though going yourself or sending your brother have their own risks

This is more a diplomatic expedition than it is a military one as the Dwarfs are capable of clearing out the path, they do so in canon after all IIRC so we should definitely go ourselves and leverage that massive amount of charisma we have, and well it does come with a minor chance of death I'd note that this is Warhammer, and hiding from the fight is generally something to avoid in this setting.

Lol. What charisma? People voted for wealth over charisma.

I didn't choose maneater because of fear of character death. Hell I'd enjoy a chance to get character creation right and actually have charisma. I picked him because I think if anyone has the same Idea we do there more likely to be intimidated away by maneater than us.

I also think that if we send maneater north we need someone our soldiers watching the castle are actually loyal enough to that said person can rally our forces if an emergency crops up, and our hero is that guy.

Uh, this charisma the winning vote for that section of character creation was charisma you can even see that plan won based on the fact we started with a fort.

This isn't a great plan the Dwarfs aren't going to take a maneater bullying their other allies away in stride just because we want exclusive trading rights. And, between our brother, and the maneater being at home we'll have both loyalty, and competence more than covered well we're away.

Anyone notice how our brother is 20 and still talks like an 8 year old?

Pretty sure he's mentally challenged and shouldn't be relied upon.

As to Krorod, thats the sort of thing that could easily wind up with a Grudge as opposed to friendly relations.

Well now I'm even more disapointed in our character build because of the lack of actual loyalty. I almost have to vote for our character, just incase it gets him killed.

Iancu is the sunrise upon our souls and must be protected.

Watch yourself or you will be put in the book.

[X] your wonderful brother Iancu will go in your stead

We must lead them ourselves for diplomatic reasons, we can leave Krorod at home to help defend (with nothing) and plan for the conquest of that keep later on. Wouldn't due to send the dwarves the message that we don't care about them by sending an ogre to work with them. Maybe it would work, maybe not. But with dwarves... better safe then sorry.

However, I think we should take Iancu with us, so we can keep an eye on him and make sure we both grow. Clearly we are the better leader, but we need to train Iancu up to be better than "the little brother we promised mother we would take care of". We must make him a grand and important part of our rise to power.

Surely, both of us leaving would have no consequences of any nature. None at all. Not a single one.
