I mean his fall and death was planned and not a kill of oppurtunity, right? kind of embarassing for a SM to die bc he got tricked into breaking a windowrailing.

Oh yeah, I meant to subtly imply that Yolanda was subtly adjusting his perception and balance so he failed to notice the danger until it was too late!

I'm guessing the Interrogator knows that Xandra was rescued, so the Imperials probably think the cult is still out there. After we break trail, it might be interesting to lay some false evidence linking Xandra to the Skavz. What goes around comes around.

Nice idea. We can create mock three way skirmish between us, Orbtz, and Skavz while truth is we are taking Skavz attention away to plant some evidence on them.

So I think something like this.
[X] Influence Interrogator : Lose Trail
-[X] The interrogator expects the cult to lose cohesion, which on the ground would mean losing assets, protection contracts, shady deals. Rival gangs moving in. And wouldn't you know it, you just got a friendly rival gang.
-[X] Stage a feigned collapse, whereby the Orbtz take over what used to be cult assets.
--[X] As part of the feign create small skirmish against Skavz and mock skirmish of us vs Orbtz to really sell the Orbtz are the controller of the territory.
--[X] While Skavz is distracted plant false evidence linking them to Magus Xandra.

That was hilarious. One Deathwatch down, one compromised. Not sure how compromised tho.

Maybe try to get the interrogator off our trail next?

Also, god, Xandra taunting the interrogator was a delight.
so wait, did we kill 1 or 2 marines?
i saw the number 2 before the thread post so just assumed be got 2 of the 15 marines here (both deathwatch?)
We killed one and Kissed another.

So now we need to find a Space Marine to Marry.

With zero might and weakened Sovereignty (morale loss due to both Olrax's unliked command and their failure on the field of battle) the Deathwatch is weak...but still present on the planet.
Hmm. I don't suppose there's anything we could do here to exploit this? I'm a bit confused, can we only take one action per turn, and if not, is there some action we could use to take advantage of Deathwatch's currently 0 Might to keep them crippled?

We can take multiple actions a month but in between choosen action happening other faction happens too.
The way i do it is

1) YOu guys vote
2) I run down the list and go "Does anyone do anything here?"
3) Repeat until End of Month Vote
4) Once you guys vote for "end month", I run down the list and go, "anyone going to act now?"
5) If no one does, then month ends, everyone's stats reset!

My hot take is that if space marines cannot fuck, then the fact they normally Don't has no meaning narratively or characterwise. If there's no sex urge to sublimate into weird fucked up toxic masculinity, then why are you even writing about super soldiers in the first place? Absurd.
Also, Space Marines geneseeds are over 10k years old and canonically subjected to minor mutations over time and the the Emperor was blindsided by some major mutations centuries after they started being used at scale.

We killed one and Kissed another.

Yolanda did not actually Kiss Hatoshi.

She just fucked him so she could read his mind easier to get the intelligence needed for the mission because I am an erotica author.

EDIT: Also, you can try and use influence to get the interrogator to think the cult's dead and gone - but she won't be leaving planet until she is damn sure.

Aw darn I was really hoping for a Kissed Space Marine.

Also, forget tricking her into leaving the planet, I want to carry out Xandra's threat.

...Wait, that still works in the absence of the hivemind, right?

Hey, you can try it, it's an unconventional warfare tactic! But also...lets say, teh Sisterhood is good at finding people's problems with the Imperium and trying to make them see a better world. It's hilarious to me that, before the hive fleet's destruction, this was a sad lie - but now, it's actually true.

That's not a no.

Hey everyone, let's give this a go!

Adding an interrogator to the Progressive Transhuman Lesbian Psyker Polycule would be a huge win!

Would it be a huge fucking shock to know that as I wrote in the interrogator, I was like, "I'll make her really hot, hehe..."

We could attack them. Our Might stat is zero, but treasure's 4, so we have 4 dice.

Gonna be rather risky though, because the space marines have a number of assets.

@DragonCobolt Can we acquire or lose assets? Is that a thing?

[] Unconventional Warfare : Catch a Conscience
-[] Psychic ability is a pathway to many things one would consider unwise, and this action is certainly among those. Curse our dear interrogator with flashes of divinatory revelation, glimpses of the alternate world where some past choice had ended up with her, here, among the cult's members. What would do? What would she think? What would she look like? What would she feel? Visions, so tempting that you need to keep watching, to find who's doing this to you, and perhaps join them

@DragonCobolt Can we acquire or lose assets? Is that a thing?

Yes, actually! You can acquire them by peacefully merging with another company that has them, conquering another company that has them or...and this is a house rule: Raising a stat and rather than raising the stat, making it an asset. Since an asset costs the same as +1 stat dice. This does mean you can only get Sov, Influence and Might assets through this method - Treasure and Territory assets must be found and captured from other companies.

-[X] Arrange for the interrogator to be socially isolated before the operation. The great houses of Thedas probably won't like someone sniffing around in their affairs, so it shouldn't be hard to suggest them that thankful for the intervention they are, they don't want to take her obviously precious time with their social events. For all her training, she's still human, and when humans are isolated, they will be more open for... new connections. Especially new connections that listen, empathize and understand how hard it is to fight a lonely war against the dark for the sake of people who will either never know of your contributions or even resent them.

as the GM requests
