[X] Spying on AdMech (Influence + Treasury vs Influence + Territory)
-[x] What the fuck is AdMech up to? Out of the current planetary threats the machine cult remains the most mysterious. We should infest some of their tech priests in order to have eyes on the inside.

[x] We should give Shexi a new Kelermorph Sister. Let's show Korine the honor that comes with giving your whole biology to the cult's safety.

Looks like peeping on the admechs is what's the name of the game! Roll it up!

holy SHIT, admechs like their secrets????

-[X] Hey, y'all remember that lance shot that took down MM? Is it not actually time for regularly scheduled maintainance? And even if not, then Noble Houses of Thedas can certainly arrange a... reprioritization of resource distribution if local Magi agree to take a look. Of course, with the escort provided by most loyal security detail...
Edit: dammit, seconds late. Plan OK, @DragonCobolt ?

So, you have 3x10, they have 2x10 - and they're defending. So, their two 10s eat your 10s down to 1x10!

...then your 2x9 triggers, because you also have that. And if they had somehow eaten your 2x9, you'd also have a 2x8 too, lol.

I was going to propose a complex plan involving round-the-clock surveillance of Foundry Thepselion, analysis of logistical inputs and outputs, and subversion of individuals with personal connections to the Adeptus Mechanicus, perhaps with a supporting omake. Then I realized that the vote had already closed. Oh well, I suppose it all worked out in the end.

Suck it, mechanicus!

The sisterhood will have your secrets for sleek, technorganic voidships to protect our new home!

Blessed Saint of Steel and Flame (1.9) New
"Scan the parts."

The House Puree arsmemn stepped aside as the officious looking tech-priest ran his optical mechadendrites over the exterior of the hovertram that they had escorted to the outer edges of the Adeptus Mechanicus territory. His optics swept down and picked up no sign of anything untoward. For the untoward thing was, currently, scrambling silently along the far side of the container-case to the roof. There, splayed flat on the roof, was the dark robed, three armed Seelie. Seelie giggled inwardly - and sent a quiet prayer to the afterlife, in hopes that her dearly departed sister was watching and appreciating. Then an optical mechadendrite swept up, to aim over the roof - and she hastily scuttled back down on three arms and two feet, scrambling to dangle from the bottom of the vehicle in one smooth loop.

"Are you done?" The armsman grumbled.

"...everything seems to checksum and balance, may the zero never be divided, in his name..." The Tech-Priest murmured, making a sign of the Omnisiah over the vehicle. "House Puree's donations of these techno-sorcerous reagents is noted and logged. Gratitude emulation engaged." He paused. "Thank you."

"CLose enough, coggie," the armsman said, cheerfully.

The vehicle rumbled forward.

And Seelie, in a flickering moment between shadows, scrambled from side to wall, to ceiling to vent. She repressed a giggle as she wormed her way almost flat through something most children would have a hard time getting through, crunching her knees in close, squirming, popping and shoving herself in with a quiet snap and pop of twisting cartilage. She dropped down a chute, skidded to a stop, then scrambled through more ductwork, until she was at a grille. Peeking out, she saw servitors thumping along past a tech-priest, who was singing in binaric.

Seelie nodded.

She scuttled forward, then peeked out through another vent. There was a middle aged tech-priest, his bald head glittering with sweat as he stood in a martial stance before a combat servitor, leg raised. The servitor swung at him with the mechanical speed and precision of a combat model - and the priest ducked under the blow, smashing his palm into the servitor's chest and electrocuting it with a surge of energy.

Seelie hummed softly.

She scuttled forward, then peeked through another vent. In the upper regions of the tech-monestary's orbital dynamic sythetic modeling systems, where gears and interlocking pieces of clockwork clicked forward to keep the planets and orbits spinning in their proper places, two young tech-priests, robes rumpled, were busy kissing one another, their work currently ignored - it seemed they had set up a tiny telescope, to take advantage of the height of their current position, peeking out above the clouds of Thedias. THe boy had brought flowers, too!

"Aww!" Seelie said.

"What was that?" the girl snapped her head around - but Seelie scuttled on, humming to herself.

She came to vent that peeked out into a corridor. There was a statue of a Machine Saint in some ancient regalia, holding what appeared to be a large caliber anti-material rifle while standing atop dozens of artfully sculpted orkoid skulls. There were also two red-robed priests, their soft humming binaric language thrumming through Seelie's ears. She cocked her head.

Softly, she heard the sound of Magus Xandra's voice.

They're discussing...it sounds like logistics? My binaric is quite old. Shexi?
Rather than words, Seelie just felt a sense of negation. She shrugged, then scrambled on.

Finally, Seelie came to a roof vent that peered down at a huge warehouse. She looked down and saw that there were dozens of tech-priests acolytes moving among what what seemed to be hundreds of statues, arranged in neat rows. They used welding torches and mechadendrites to attach gleaming blue devices to their bodies - narrow barrels and ridged backs, with hissing bottles of blue-something being attached to their backs. Others were being given massive halberd-axes, with immense cogs on them. Others still had long, deadly looking rifles. Then Seelie blinked as she realized it wasn't statues.

It was people. They were just all standing perfectly still.

Skitarii, Xandra whispered, softly. They were meant to be shipping them off world since the hive fleet was spoiled. What are they doing here? And why are there so many more than we thought?
Seelie frowned and wriggled to the next warehouse. More Skitarii. The next? These had battle-vehicles. Armored devices, rollers, walkers. She frowned, her normal humming cheerfulness quite gone. BUt as she watched, a procession of red robed Mechanicus began to walk into the massive chamber. An organ began to play - first a procession, then a contemplative and deep resonance, shifting and rising. The mechanicus began to chant, as they walked by machines that came to life - tanks rumbling, turrets extending and swiveling. Massive robotic frames standing with creaks and hisses. The music was growing more determined, and the singing grew louder.

Xandra's voice, quiet and grim, spoke in her head.

We, the children of the Omnisiah... standing on holy ground...will make this world logical and pure...
Seelie paused for a very long moment.

"Is that...bad?" she whispered.

The procession brought forth a banner - immense and beautiful, it showed the face and body of the Magos Thepselion XVI-Alpha Two in profile, her robes done stark red, her hands clasping to her chest the instrument of her martyrdom, a glowing cylinder of purple light, while her mechadendrites held the holy symbols of her office and her sainthood: The microscope, the genomic synthesizier, the cyclomatic recombanent sorting servitor, and the scalpel.

"Today marks second zero of day zero of cycle zero of the newly christened Forge World of Thepselion's Gift!" A magos boomed in deep, resonant Low Gothic, their hands raised. "With these mighty tools of war and peace and the aid of the Emperor's Angels of Death, we shall render this world unto the Mechanicus - all will adapt, flee, or perish in his majestic flames. For logic guides us, and knowledge girds us, and faith drives us!"

The roar of bloodthirsty zealotry shook to the rafters.

Seelie breathed a huge sigh of relief.

"Fhew!" she said. "Sure glad we don't live on Thepselion's Gift. Those guys are screwed."

THE SISTERHOOD OF THE LEVITHAN
(Cycle 1, Month 4 - the Month of Gathering)

MIGHT: 2 | TREASURE: 5(4) | INFLUENCE: 4(3) | TERRITORY: 1 | SOVEREIGNTY: 4

For future votes where we can pick an asset as a reward, could we get the asset list (below) in a spoiler in the threadmark?

Or if that's a faff, maybe in the sticky post?

Here are the ASSET LIST!

MIGHT ASSETS
[ ] PDF Turncoats (+2d when rolling to escape from Unconventional Warfare, but not for performing it)
[ ] Areospace Access (+2d might when using aircraft or orbital spaceships - you do NOT have warp capability)
[ ] Defensive Psykers (+2d to might rolls when combatting enemy psykers or psyker enhanced forces)
[ ] Swarm Tactics (+2d when your might is used against an enemy with a lower permanent might rating)
[ ] Hatred (If attacked by the Imperium, you get a one time +3d to your defense rolls for that engagement - after victory it is lost.)
[ ] True Love (a PDF officer/naval captain/war-psyker/inquisitorial acolyte has, unknown to you, fallen deeply in love with one of your most beautiful magi, and will at a dramatic moment turn against the rotting edifice of the Imperium, securing victory for you at the tragic cost of their life, dying romantically in the arms of their weeping beloved. +3d to any single might roll, once.)

TREASURE ASSETS
[ ] Seasonal Income (half of the planetary cycle, you get +2 to Treasure. During the other half of the cycle, you get -1 Treasure.)
[ ] Permanent Underclass (Your cult has some people it can just...push the shit work onto. Once per planetary cycle, you can permanently drop your Sovereignty by 1 to add 1 to your treasure.)
[ ] Excellent Military Logistics (Your cult ensures everyone has a charge pack, two frag, one krak grenade and a smoker. The first attack roll per month automatically turns 1 regular dice into an Expert Dice.)
[ ] Predictable Bounty (pick one month per planetary cycle - during this time, things get easier for your cult's internal activities, giving +1 Territory, +1 Treasure but -1 Might for the month.)
[ ] Day of Ascension Stockpile (the cult's long preparations have paid off - but they were expecting to be eaten soon so it will not last long. +2 to Treasure this month, which becomes a +2 bonus to territory next month. Then? It's gone.)

INFLUENCE ASSETS
[X] Kelermorphs (+2d when rolling to perform Unconventional Warfare, but not for the escape)
[ ] Active Propagandists (+2d when rolling to increase your Influence)
[ ] Pleasure Dens (-1 Difficulty to roll to improve Influence)
[ ] Uncomfortable Allies (Pick another Company, you have +2d Influence with them, they have +2 Influence with you)[ ] Prisoners | [ ] Khornites | [ ] Nurglests | [ ] Tzneetchians | [ ] Slaaneshite | [ ] Nobility | [ ] Prison Guards | [ ] Tech Priests
[ ] Beautiful Hybrids (+2d when rolling to alter the opinions of another Company)
[ ] Well Positioned Neophyte Mole (Choose another company. You have a ONE TIME +3d bonus to influence, after which the Neophyte either is slain or has returned to the cult and cannot be used again.)[ ] Prisoners | [ ] Khornites | [ ] Nurglests | [ ] Tzneetchians | [ ] Slaaneshite | [ ] Nobility | [ ] Prison Guards | [ ] Tech Priests

TERRITORY ASSETS
[ ] Techwights, Armorers and Manufactories (+2d to rolls to permanently increase your Might)
[X] Tunnels and Bunkers (+2d to defend your territory if attackers are fighting through your defenses - no bonus if they've slipped past somehow.)
[X] Pleasurable Kiss (People like the Cult for...obvious reasons - +2d to rolls to permanently raise your Sovereignty.)

SOVERIGNTY ASSETS
[ ] Revolutionary Rhetoric (-1 difficulty to raise Sovereignty or Might)
[ ] Bureau of Anti-Inquisitorial Action (+2d to rolls to resist Unconventional Warfare attacks.)
[ ] We Will Die Free (+2d to all Sovereignty rolls if your company is under attack from an outside force)
[ ] Limited Hive Mind (+2d when rolling to police your population.)

I didn't know what kelermorphs were. Apparently they're charismatic gunslingin mutants:

uhh.. .this seems bad.

Plan - I'll get the truth out even if it kills me
[ x ] Unconventional Warfare - Our recently captured Arbites "discovers" the admech are up to no good, on camera, creating suspicion in the PDF.

or We could also just

Plan - tattle-tale
[ x ] Influence PDF to do a Spy on the Admech (Influence 4 + Treasury 5 vs Influence + Territory) - creating enough warning to prevent a blitzkreig and slow the fight from lightning-powered march to muddy cog-slog.

Either way, we should
[ X ] Increase your Sovereignty (Territory 1 + Treasure 5 (+2d from Pleasurable kiss) vs Diff [Current Sovereignty 4]) - We're gonna need to be large and in charge here, cause this looks like negotiations will be hostile.

before we
[ x ] Train and Levy Troops (Sovereignty + Territory vs Diff [Current Might] - cause this might get messy, and while we have tunnels and bunkers, those haven't been the impregnable bastions we'd hoped them to be in recent past. Very pregnable, these cultists.

Ah. Well that's a problem. I say we tip off the locals and work in the background to sabotage the ever living hell out of the ad mech.

[x] Unconventional Warfare - Our recently captured Arbites "discovers" the admech are up to no good, on camera, allowing the PDF to prepare. She was, after all, concerned about their shenanigans.

So, the unconventional warfare idea you have here is actually two actions: you want to influence the PDF to fight the AdMech (rather than simply allow them to take over), then you want to use unconventional warfare to reduce the AdMEch's might?
