Warcraft: The Rise of the Mag'har

Which kinda makes you wonder which race they're gonna recruit to try and keep pace with the Horde, or if Thrall see's if he can use the presence of the Blood Elves to finally cut ties with the Forsaken, who really were allies he made more out of necessity than anything else.
For irony of irony's it turns out to be the forest trolls.........what? Turnabout it fair play after all.

.................naaaaa!

Well anyway I can't help but wonder what it could be myself.

Maybe a multigenerational project to use the magic of the Twisting Nether to create new ground and fuse it to the rest? Remake Draenor rather than add it to Azeroth.
IIRC the twisting nether's magic is impure and you need a something to refine it, that was the purpose of the original well of eternity.

Blurring The Lines Further

i think this is an example of drannosh getting too high off of ideological fervor over common sense. if anything, it would be a step down from an organizational perspective. you dont need to think yourself equivalent inorder to have good working relationships. point in fact, it can actually be a major obstacle; circumstances inevitably conspire that no one person will ever be doing exactly the same things as anyone else, and all of a sudden these differences start being perceived (whether earnestly or taken by cynical advantage, hard to say which is actually worse) more as grave injustices that must be rectified in some way, rather than the natural workings of a system composed of otherwise distinguishable parts. clear understanding of expectations and hierarchy nip such problems in the bud.

Thats not what that is. He's making it so anyone can join any group. The clans will still exist but they won't hold an monoply on the different military groups.

i know, but im just sensitive to implications. the trouble with trying to make reforms is that alot of the time people will often appropriate the same justifications you employed to take things even further beyond what you intend.

Only Dranosh can do this. No one else can affect the entire Mag'har. Or the orc part of it if Draenai count as a part of it now.

TBH, I kinda think that for reforms like this you need to balance risk versus reward very carefully. Clan based combat roles aren't really currently causing us any problems. So the question becomes if you think that the gain off this action will be worth the time, effort, resources, disruption and unhappiness...

Reforms aren't always a good option.

There's no roll required for the action, so there's no chance it could go badly.

I think by making this reform we are uniting the military more and allowing other Orcs from different clans to become certain warriors thus allowing to get us more troops overall since we are not stuck selecting certain warriors from only one pool.

Dranosh is also super popular among the Orcs right now in a time that their culture is very unstable and subject to change due to the recent sins of the Orcs and the destruction of the planet so he is able to do all these reforms with little to no blacklash.

I went to the rim of the wheel and beyond, and looking back, i saw I.

"I am an illusion. I am real."

All things said however. a reform like that should come after the population takes the initiative(say, a Blackrock smith taking a Frostwolf apprentice). With us commending the initiative to furthering unity. It's not the sort of thing that should be forced by the leadership.

That may already be happening since we have been pushing from more uniting among the clans.

Also like said in a time of cultural upheaval Dranosh is very popular, sharing the truth of the sins of the Orcs, and with the support of the Shamans can make a lot of changes very easily.

Plus right now we are in a state of flux trying to establish new traditions and we are riding high on good will so it is better to get the long term changes in place before something happens.
