This is either going to be good or bad. PEOPLE BEGIN THE SACRIFICES!!!
Let's see: Water for rehydration from the storm of wailing and tears, absorbent mat on the floor, five pounds of comfort food. I'm ready.
Don't worry. Nothing can go wrong. It is foolproof after all. I mean what could possibly happen?

I think you just got a volunteer for the first sacrifice.
Or both at once going by last turnThis is either going to be good or bad. PEOPLE BEGIN THE SACRIFICES!!!
As far as I know, I don't think I've ever seen a Dynasty Quest like....fail, before. As in achieve Bad End.
Even if every single option fails, you still have the money, and the army, and you could probably hole up and go ultra defensive.
You're stronger than you think you are.
You need to honour them, but not demand their favour.
It is indeed a balance act one has to create.
Countries are pretty hard to destroy, assuming you have any heirs at all. Even military defeat won't always do it. You can be vassalized. As far as I know, I don't think I've ever seen a Dynasty Quest like....fail, before. As in achieve Bad End.

Honor them with deeds? Preposterous!honor them with deed not begging and pleas
in Asuka Quest we marched forward against the tide's of Xeno's with not a trace of fear and thay blessed us with bullshit worthy of exaltation
in warhammer dynasty we charged the lines of Grom a Orc set to ravage the Empire and nearly shatter it but with not dispair nor fear we rode forth and killed the vile orc and saved the Empire
honor with deed not prayer my friends
Thanks for volunteering as a scapegoat for when things go wrong.
