I definitely agree with you, I want to appease her soon. Just in case, she is a major boon to our army and a major liability if she runs/decides she likes to eat us.

That said, I dont think its an immediate problem as much as our diplomatic situation. So next turn I will vote for appeasement.
 
Guys! Put Doing it Yourself off for one more turn! We need to to keep Maxxena happy by feeding her well, we do not want her deciding to rebel at some point in the future, as she would massively damage our infrastructure.

She's not about to lose her shit this turn, and fixing the damage from Survey is far, far more important.
 
@Arcman thanks for the info For some reason I thought the DD option reduced the time taken. I still honestly think this is the best option.

I agree Maexxna should be appeased, but I've seen no evidence that she will lose her shit in the next two turns.

Her status change to Wary seems to be more evidence that she is growing more comfortable around us.

I think it more means that she isn't as scared of us any more. She's still cautious, but not as much.
 
I agree that Appeasement can wait 2 turns. My concern was that as far as I could tell, no-one was thinking about the change in her status. However, since we are planning on doing Deep Strike this turn, which Arcman has said will include Maexxna, we can afford to wait 2 turns to do appeasement.
 
I just want to bring up the idea that Maybe Deep Strikes might have a significant impact on the option of making them fight each other.

I can see the giant broodmother and nerubians slaughtering them really focus their attention on us and ignore whatever attempts we might make to set them on each other.

Just some food for thought.

I've been one of the main advocates for the do it yourself option.

And I can safely say IDK if we could take a 45 martial enraged Maexxna.

I seriously doubt that Maexxna's going to go berserk this turn, so Appeasement can wait. Do It Yourself is far more important because that's our way of fixing the damage from Survey, and is well worth it taking 2 turns.

And Surface Training isn't something we need to do now. If we do Deep Strikes it could very well remove Stressed from Anub-Rekhan, improve Maexxna's opinion of us even more AND delay the war another turn.

Yeah, Appeasement isn't important at the moment because if the Deep Strike goes through then she'll end up happy with all the food from that.
 
With a multi front war coming, I don't think Appeasement will do as much as it could have. She may worship food, but there's only so much she can eat after webbing a few thousand constantly regenerating Trolls.
 
You know, it just occurred to me, but out of us and our queens, stewardship is the only thing that we don't have a lot of skill in. Perhpase we should get that bit bumped up a bit?

Mainly focusing on delaying and causing trouble for the enemy forces. I also want RA and DD on diplomacy to increase our chances, and since we are doing the action personally our large diplomacy bonus should add to the success rate. Also increase settlements and outpost will help our empire down the line. Research will gain use a useful ranged units and more information about the races in the area in general (if we know more about their culture it may help in are diplomacy). Personal Actions just help use in general.

Survey done just explaining my viewpoint for anyone who wants it.
