So Gargoyles turned out to be Northrend natives, most likely Titan creations considering their nature, so we can possible tame them due to not being demons but they are natually evil beings so we would need to do some serious training with them and selective breeding.

That's ok.

We're naturally evil beings too.

It seems to me though that Gargoyles got kinda stuck in a halfway state between the Curse of Flesh and their original forms as possible titanic guardians.

They're probably alot like the Quilin.

Right now we are more true neutral or neutral good.

Makes sense which also means more can be created but haven't for some reason by Loken.

Also true.

I wonder where they are located?

Most likely the highest amount are in the Storm Peaks but I'm sure we can collect a good amount from across Northrend.

@Arcman how do you feel about giving us the option to collect some Gargoyles to tame into new air units/stone guardians which act as a middle ground to Spiderlings and Proto Darkes?

A balance between numbers and toughness that we really need in air units.

I'm pretty sure we're lawful evil, it's just that compared to the legion we look like good guys. So maybe if we want to be generous lawful neutral bordering to evil.

I can go good lawful neutral considering our average mindset.

I honestly forgot about Gargoyles. :V

Does that means there can be an option to collect and tame them?

Also could we buy Griffins and Dragonhawks from the Alliance to breed and use?

Could gargoyles have been creatures artificially created by the Scourge? How else are they able to controlled by the Lich King?

They were natives, most likely Titan creations, that were taken control of by Arthas after he took the sword.

Control is as easy as getting them addicted to Fel energy.

Just need to build flappy golems.

Golems aren't really the best fliers in general.

I rather we have Griffin or Dragonhawk riders since they act as a great middle ground for our current air units.

Also want to get Nerubian Shamans so we can access Geomancy and use spirits to fight for us.

I wonder if we can in the future if we can field Snobold Geomancers in battle? While we are better off just having Nerubian shamans for that extra magical support is always good.

Hope we can talk to he Vrykul later to try and open good relations with them and learning their runic magic.

I have threadmarked everything in the index.

If I missed anything please let me know. I'll work on the stat sheet later, writing up the turn post atm.

Idea popped into my brain. Necromancy is reanimating dead flesh, right? Shouldn't that be really useful for healing? "Oh noes! The wound is septic! Better magic it!"

@Arcman who would you say is Abjur-Drakfars' best non Nerubian friend?

Makes sense that Necromancy could be used as a form of healing considering how the best ones are those who have doctor level skill in understanding a living body.

I think it would be more keeping the body going even though it should be dead rather than real healing. Like putting the body on magical life support or something.

Check Lost Star's Necromancer quest, we went doctor in that one.

I actually got the idea from DnD, where Cleric healing spells are classed under Necromancy.

Makes a lot of sense.

I really want to bring back past Nerubians so that they can tell us about lost knowledge that we don't have but I don't know how well Nerubians would get behide that idea.

@Arcman would Nerubians be okay with temporarily raising past Nerubians to gleam lost secrets from them like lost research, magic, history, state secrets, etc? Maybe raise the Nerubians cultists we killed and force them to tell us all their secrets, current plans, and get back the saronite research notes they destroyed?

My main issue is breeding and sacrificing the trolls. That's downright evil. I mean I'm not exactly against it from gameplay perspective, but calling ourself something remotely like good when we do attrocities like that is pretty delusional.

And yet LG D&D characters routinely go out and slaughter entire goblin tribes (or other humanoids) and loot the bodies.

When they return, they are universally praised for their good work.

True but at the same time the Ice Trolls are the most savage of their race, cruel beyond measure, and even willing to kill their own gods if it means they could become powerful.

While two wrongs don't make a right at least we are not doing it out of being cruel and we have even the Loas' support on the matter.
