Villainous Ideals EP 3

Upgrades give conditional bonuses. For example Athena would wipe the floor with Anti since her specialty is lvl 4 Personal Combat. And considering our own marked difference between lvl3 and lvl 4 in skills beating Heroes in a straigt up fight is impossible.

That said I got a draft Plan 2.1 just give me 5 minutes

This is intentional. They wouldn't be A rank Heroes if they were easy to beat.

Goals

-[] Pray to god that we recorded the scene. We need it to black mail Red soon if this fails.
--[] Greed E. Mine is a greed that wants more than mere land. There are things I want desperately and ruling the world is secondary to them. I want Red and Beatrix and even Shade. The world may not grant everything. But it sure as hell can grant me most of them. Because when they are loyal, when they listen to me, They are mine. And those few that I want, ruling the world may satisfy this greed of mine

Fitting, but i'll still go with last one. More interesting.
The Last one has the Tiny problem of being totally and utterly something that is unproven in Revan's history
Grosstoad said:
Mmm, no, I think not Greed.
Revan's magalomania is Pride if anything, but at the same time, he has a touch of Envy and Greed, so he wants everyone to know about him.
While that is true, a lot of our decision making was made in order to make Red our Minion* . In that our Greed is ridiculous.

[Pride and notoriety is something we did for mania, and thus not very important]

The last wolf said:
Well, yeah, that makes it fun.

In comparison, Greed is more of a sandbox.
Greed is more like all the SHINIES. The Conquest one has the problem of being something we have never involved ourselves in and therefore may seem too bullshitty for Mr.E to accept*.

That said I hope we get better Goal's suggestions. The Icon at least is acceptable.

*My main fear

It's ok to do speeches, but he wants a point of focus, not so much a paragraph rant. Consider this the 'motivation' part of character creation. You've bought the skills, and defined the appearance. Now you need to define the motivation, and the theme you are using.

Wait. Does that mean we are free to choose anything within reason?

Sure. Basically I sorta consider this entire exercise so far an expression in character creation and expression. Revan's hit his major milestone so to speak. It's time to evaluate and declare what you desire him to be now. How you want him to become legendary.

Actually thinking about it freedom also works.
  • Control: Revan wants control over his surroundings and those within it. Our desire to convert Beatrix, Minsuh and even Red are expresions of that which is only further expanded by our unquestionably loyal robot army.
  • Knowledge: Revan desires knowledge. Everytime we run into tech or an enemy we go to great lengths to learn and steal everything we can about and from them for our own use.
  • Freedom: Revan wants to decide his own fate and not be restrained by the rules of the world.

With all the minions. Prefarably upgraded.

So Guy's while we do maybe have a lose function we are in Character Creation Mk 2.

So the point is what do we want to be as an A lister.

In regards to what Revan would want perhaps what he wants is to be able to do whatever he wants? As far as I recall from how Revan has been played he's been shown to mostly look at knowledge as more of a mean to an end and I don't really recall much that indicates that he's looking to become a head of state/monarch/leader in general.

Just a guy that does what he feels like be it writing his name on the moon or stopping traffic. With a possible side dish of wanting to be known.

I support any of this if they can be converted to what we want Revan to do.

PS: For those that aren't sure, we can choose just about anything* to be Revan's goal. This is inspite of our history as Revan

*so long as it's awesome

Goal

[X] I want to be free. I want... to be able to do anything I wish, to prank policemen or draw my name on the moon. That is my goal. To beat the system so that I am free to chase after my fleeting wishes and wants.

Edit: Remember to use [Y] Plan XXX since it makes vote counting easier

Plan Evillevi

[X] Chuckle
-[X] Invite Mr.E to work for us.
--[X] "So why don't you work for me Mr.E?" / "You said it your self the same type of Player's makes the game far more boring than it has to be"
---[X] When he inevitably denies us. Move on to answering his questions. If he accepts, then on to chaos.
-[X] Motion Anti and Brilliance and Minsuh to the fore. Also show Mr. E the blueprints that we made for our three new Minions
--[X] I will win, because I have quantity over quality. Even if they aren't the best, they are still dangerous, because these aren't merely grunts. Because what people will have to faced are villians and eventually heroes that will work under one banner. My banner.
-[X] I want to be free. I want... to be able to do anything I wish, pranking policemen or drawing my name on the moon. That is my goal. To beat the system so that I am free to chase after my fleeting dreams and ephemeral wishes.

So based on Leoric and Kestrel we have a two way tie for Goals

FREEDOM: to do what I want

RESPECT: I'm the man, I'm the greatest, My people are the greatest and you WILL acknowledge them

From the intro:

I'd say Revan's desire is linked to pride as well as a desire to become the best. Something along those lines.
kestrel404 said:
Just to inform you that Lost doesn't care about our history as much. This is Char Creation 2.0.

That said for Respect there is something like

-[Y] I want the world to know me. To say my name in the breath of the greatest in anything, in everything. That's my goal. That's my dream.

Will clarify that this is Revan re-evaluating his priorities and such. This is what we call a character defining moment so to speak. He can decide that he doesn't like what he's been doing and change it in the future.

I think this is the portion we need to replace. That one answers 'Who are you', not 'what do you want' or 'how will you get it'.

Mr. E doesn't care WHO we are. That's the other guy.

THis works?

Out of curiosity, Does this change our end game requirements.

Also is the below an acceptable option. (also if it's not too much trouble can we know what actually happens with this vote. Since this is a second Char Creation I want to get it right and not blind side myself)

-[Y] I want to be free. I want... to be able to do anything I wish, pranking policemen or drawing my name on the moon. That is my goal. To beat the system so that I am free to chase after my fleeting dreams and ephemeral wishes.
