Spider-Man is my favorite hero because of his attitude and the ways he goes about being a hero. Peter may be annoying sometimes but you can always count on him to help.

I actually like Everyman hero, but this also works.

Especially if two Parkers are involved.

Don't let him get anywhere neat Uncle Ben.

And as Peter because...well. This is one of the moments that defined him. That broke him. This is the moment where all the guilt came from, that forced a guilty teenager to play the part of the hero he should have been, eventually actually becoming said hero.

If we do this as Peter, he has a chance to actually grow/develop as himself. To become a Peter that doesn't let Spider-Man overwhelm his life. Do this as Spider-Man? Not quite.
 
So...is there a reason that you all voted not to tell Uncle Ben and Aunt May about the powers at least?

I'm choosing this because the universe likes to shit on Peter. I'm a little worried that if we go somewhere else, some other horrible accident will get Ben or May killed.

This is plain and simple the best option, get him before he is even close, low chance of discovery and a feat about preventive planing, when we are a time traveler full with future knowledge, I realy can't see any other feat being as useful as this one.
