There are a number of options available to you, some of which might not be apparent.

  • Declare a revote in light of the new information, voiding all previous votes.
  • Change the pacifist path to something not fundamentally flawed, then call a revote.
  • Just drop that option like it has the plague. Locking yourself into something you wouldn't enjoy writing/we wouldn't enjoy reading does no-one any favours.
  • Just go with wanting to disappear, since I think that won anyway.
  • Declare all votes for the shinji path before you revealed the massive problems with it void, and call for anyone whose vote is annulled to revote.
  • Tag everyone who voted for shinji, tell them the deep-seated problems with it, and asking them if they are sure.
Honestly, if the prospect of a shinji quest where he has to give up on saving everyone/has to be twisted from pacifist to neutral warlike/is going to try and save everyone and see it all go to shit isn't something you want to write, then changing or removing it is for the best.

As a general rule, you should never include an option that you aren't willing to write.
 
Them I'm changing my vote to Frisk, purely for the fact that I don't know much about JoJo. But if it wins I'll still follow this quest. It IS still Undertale.

Fukken close enough. Two-syllable protagonists beginning with "Shi" that I don't know shit about tend to blur into one for me.
 
Alright then GioGio it is then. Sorry for everyone who wanted Shirou to win.

As some sort of way to make it up, I'll have a short "What could have been" snippet in which Toriel finds out how Shirou uses magic sometime this week. For now, I have a Warframe Update to get hyped about, a quest to write, finals to study for, and homework to do.

    • You are young Giorno Giovanna. You have run away from home from your abusive father and completely and utterly absent mother. It was fairly simple enough in retrospect: your father was out drinking and your mother... well you do not know exactly where she goes every single night, but neither of your parents were there when you finally decided to leave and never return.

    After all: neither your mother or father cared enough to lock the door before they left. After all, you were probably the least valuable thing in their house. You were just a burden: a waste of money, air, and food as your father loved to put it before he beat you every other night when he was drunk.

    Your black hair shines in the moonlight as you climb the Mt. Ebbott in hoping that the rumors were true. That somehow, you would be able to disappear from the world if you climbed this mountain.

    You do know one thing for certain: anywhere would be a better place than where you were. And as such, you climbed the mountain hoping to disappear. But your young, desperate mind did not quite connect「disappearing」with 「death」

    But unfortunately for you, as you made you way into a cave to seek shelter for the night you do not see the gnarled roots that crop around the unseen edge of a hole. As you attempt to feel around blindly in the darkness, you find yourself tumbling down into oblivion.

    You cry for help as you fall down and down into the pitch black darkness....

    「 BUT NOBODY CAME. 」

    You wake up upon a bed of「golden flowers」that are somehow conveniently placed under the place where you fell. The light shines through the hold from which you fell. But now that you look closer, you find yourself in a strange patch of grass and flowers. Your mind starts to panic as you try to figure out what had happened.

    Edit: Yeah, you're starting out as young Giorno Giovanna before he unlocked his Stand. Don't worry though: if you play your cards right you might be able to obtain your Stand before the end of the Ruins!

    Wasn't his Stand really versatile, and the Requiem version really strong?
    EDIT: Wait black hair, but the pictures and manga snips I've seen of him all present him as a blonde.

    Giorno's hair only turned gold as a side-effect of unlocking his Stand. Until then he looks like your typical, black-haired, Asian.

    You can find pictures of him as a black-haired kid when you look him up in the Jojo wiki.
