[X] Everything's on fire as expected

We specifically moved away from the communist option in the country election. Why should we go there again?

I would like to report that the Chapter has gotten a bit of a touch-up, though no changes have been made to the options. In addition, there is a massive update coming to the Glossary, and the national information tab has also been updated!

Voting to close on 06:50 CET, 4-11-2021!
I am fine with both and I didn't see anything against approval voting

While I have nothing against approval voting, I would find it easier - and fairer - that everyone vote on one plan they agree with, not multiple plans. Thanks!

In addition, the vote is to close in ten hours. Everyone, thanks in advance!

My ideal proposal would probably be heavy handed tbh, but try to do Caeser but do it right. Dictatorship to clean house and hold things while the dust settles before trying to open up democracy again, but... Valkyr Theocracy/Monarchy sounds fun too. :p

Also burn the heretical North America to the ground!

:V

But really, there's dropping a nuke on a city so you don't literally genocide a people because they're willing to fight to the last woman and child and then there's dropping a magical nuke that's made from a still living person on a capital city. Yikes.

Also from the sounds of it the Diet needs to get hit with a reset button more than anything with how much personal issues and old stubbornness might be getting in the way.

Probably a good idea on neutering as many communists as we can by making them work and while the trade option with Darcia is a poor solution to Not!France occupying our land, it will help a lot with calming the people down.

I would prefer State-Controlled Institutions over Naval Legacy, very heavily in fact. The latter is noted to be expensive and with the amount of infrastructure needed its also open to sabotage and delays (and "delays").

I chose Naval Legacy over state controlled for several reasons the first is because State Controlled factories is something that would weaken our coalition support and we need that to survive the upcoming vote of no confidence. The second reason is it's something that would agitate the communist party and in the short term I'm trying to avoid that and a civil war, I don't think outright avoiding a civil war is possible but I have to at least try and in the meantime I'll do my best to defang them where I can. The final reason is restoring the Naval Legacy puts a lot of people to work and that should help calm at least some tensions and bring about more stability as well.

I'm not actually against state-controlled factories I just don't feel there a good idea at this stage and should come after the communist party has been defanged. And there's no looming No Confidence vote for our leader.
