Turn, Turn and Turn [A]gain! (Turn A Gundam Quest)

It's fine Iceblocks. It fit with how BS non-limit human in this quest would be so their ...pet? keeper? whatever she is.
Who know, maybe she can teach Loran to fight like Master Aisha or Domon? :D

Lets have a tally.

[X] Ivory + Fuun Saiki (Master Gundam Ivory Custom + Fuunsaiki)

You decide on taking the new additions to your team with you down into the vaults below the White Palace, leaving Sochie, Arisa, Corin and the others behind to guard the rear. The psychic dolphin piloting a Psychoreactive martial arts Gundam has to make her Mobile Suit dismount her psychic horse ally's giant mocap-controlled horse robot to fit into the elevator, and if that isn't a sentence rarely spoken you will eat your armored Normal Suit. Nevertheless, there is enough room to fit all six units in there.

The ride down is slow, which is a blessing in disguise for the people riding in the palms of the towering Mobile Weapons as the elevator descends into the depths. Kihel and Dianna ride in the hand of the Lieutenant's Gold SUMO, Midgard rides in the hand of one of the Zakus, and Lord Guin and Lady Lily are carried by the other one. Lord Guin insisted that the White Doll needed to be free to act immediately in case of combat, and Ivory and Fuun Saiki are complete unknowns and are therefore not acceptable options to carry him around. Midgard's presence is a surprise though, and not just to you:

"I cannot help but notice that you are still here, Mr. Midgard." Titters Lady Lily from the palm of the Zaku II that carries her. "I thought you were Her Majesty Queen Dianna's enemy?"

If her teasing tone affects him, the ashen man shows no sign of it. "My only concern is to prevent any disaster from reaching this great queendom." He answers gruffly. "While I strongly disagree with Her Majesty's policies, Agrippa Maintainer's courting of the Ghingham Fleet might completely erase our civilization from existence. The choice was simple once the extent of his folly was revealed."

Lady Lily ribs him a little more on the subject of Maintainer's follies, like what he meant when he was ranting about 'awakened combat instincts' or whatever, but the elevator reaching its destination cuts her off. You are the first one out of the door in case of unfriendly company, and as such you are the first to enter the viridian silence of the cryosleep vault.

"This place feels like a graveyard."

Lady Lily's voice is quiet, but in the vast silence of the vault you have no trouble hearing her.

Lord Guin leans towards her and takes her hand in his. "From the utter silence, and the odd look of it, I have to agree with you." He whispers.

Dianna, who has acquired some kind of PDA from somewhere, releases a hearty sigh of relief. "Thank god." She almost sobs. "Agrippa has not neglected his duties here."

"Duties?" Asks one of the Zaku pilots.

"House Maintainer's original role was to oversee the Moonrace's cryosleep vaults." Dianna explains. "But as the centuries passed they leveraged their position into a permanent place at court. It happened during my mother's last few years, and until now I had no cause to chastise them."

She spreads her arms wide as she addresses all of you. "This great vault is the home of the Dark History Archive, as well as the control center for every Cryosleep Vault on the Moon. We will find our answers here."

Vestige stirs.

What sort of answers does she expect to find that I cannot give? Oh. Right. Only you, Sochie and my surviving subordinates know about me. Except maybe Fuun Saiki. I do not know if Ivory has told him yet.

You tune out the rambling of you smug neighborhood Psychoframe Ghost, focusing instead on Kihel and Dianna having a moment while reminiscing on the day they first switched places. The way their Pressures are radiating is touching, yet, but is this really the time?

And now they are spilling the story to everyone here. Which would have been a shock if everyone except the Zaku pilots didn't already know. Speaking of everyone, there is a large group of people around the building that Dianna indicated as the Dark History Archive.

You adjust the White Doll's sensors to get a better look-what the heck is the Militia doing here?

By the time you and the others reach the Archive it has been completely taken over by the Militia, who has overwhelmed the few guards that Maintainer managed to cajole into escorting him. That's right, Maintainer. Apparently he grabbed a WaD and used a secret tunnel that connects the Cryosleep Vault and one of Genganam's spaceports to get here, hoping to go through it to reach a getaway ship. Unfortunately for him the Militia managed to scare one of his left behind accomplices into talking, and now Ames (one of the Zaku pilots that served under Gavane before coming here) is taking great delight in manhandling him before Queen Dianna.

"Don't you animals dare touch anything inside that sacred room!" He screams as he is dragged away from the doors of the Archive. "The Dark History is not something for you primitives to defile with your bestial ignorance!"

"The Dark History is stored in there?" Questions Lieutenant Yannis, who eyes the doors to the inner chamber suspiciously. "It looks way too small to store all the books you'd need to record all of that."

Maintainer's shriek is borderline maniacal. "BOOKS?! You think the Dark History is recorded on paper?! You-"

"That's enough."

Queen Dianna's voice silences the disgraced Prime Minister. "Your Majesty, I-"

Dianna interrupts him. "You are just a loud incompetent hiding on the moon, abusing your power while praising yourself on how you are prolonging our lives." She sighs. "Gym Ghingham is delighted that you have given him the authority to enforce martial law, and Lord Guin of Inglessa has come to seek peace and technological advancement for his nation."

You glance out the window at the Master Gundam and the Fuunsaiki, patting the t-shape vessel containing Vestige as you muse on how they are missing out on Dianna listing every one of Agrippa's fuckups to the man's face.

"-and this gathering of people with irreconcilably conflicting intentions is bound to cause a disaster!" She declares as part of what seems to be her closing statement. "But even so…" She mutters darkly as she strides up towards the sealed doors and holds her hands up to the seals of House Soleil that each door has been marked with.

"You should think thoroughly on the reason why our ancient past is called the 'Dark History'."

The doors, registering something from Queen Dianna, slowly grind open, ancient mechanisms humming to life for the first time in centuries to reveal-

AU elements have been interesting thus far, so I'm really interested to find out who/what this is.

Week 26 Result Part 8
[X] An armored figure with their back turned towards you, standing before some kind of sealed container. (MASSIVE AU)

The doors, registering something from Queen Dianna, slowly grind open, ancient mechanisms humming to life for the first time in centuries to reveal an armored figure with their back turned towards you, standing before some kind of sealed container. Their armor resembles that of a Steel-Age knight, with distinctive medieval-esque armor plating covering the thick bodysuit underneath.

A voice, harshly distorted but certainly female, rings out from the person at the far end of the room. "So you have finally arrived here, Princess Dianna." The figure says without turning around. "No, I believe you call yourself Queen Dianna these days. My mistake."

She turns around to face the crowd, revealing the crimson dragon painted on her chest.

With the malignant red visor and the symbol resembling a blood splatter, she cuts a disturbing figure, but there is something else that is bothering you…

Queen Dianna, on the other hand, is undeterred and addresses the figure, ignoring the insult. "You must be the Dragon. I thought you retired centuries ago."

That is the Dragon? If so, that would explain her heraldry, and why Midgard is shaking like a leaf with his eyes fixed on the woman in front of you all.

"I am and I did." The Dragon shrugs. "However, recent events have convinced me to act."

A polite cough, courtesy of Lady Lily Borjarno, interrupts the two of them. "Your Majesty, aren't you going to introduce us?" Titters the Luziannan princess, masking the tense nervousness she feels with feigned nonchalance.

Queen Dianna looks over her shoulder and nods. "Centuries ago, the woman known as the Dragon was one of my mother's enforcers, keeping order within the Moonrace during the trials after the Calamity. My mother told me she retired and left her duties to House Midgard."

"Junno always sugarcoated things when it came to you, but yes, that is more or less correct." The Dragon inclines her head in Midgard's direction. "Speaking of House Midgard, you must be Meme."

"I-I was raised on stories ab-about you." Midgard answers, completely terrified.

Vestige stirs.

Loran, there is nobody there. Who are you all talking to?

Nobody there? What are they-

It hits you like a bomb, and suddenly your unease makes perfect sense. For to your psychic senses, this woman does not exist. You telepathically connect to Vestige to let them share your senses, giving them a good look at the Dragon.

Vestige clicks a nonexistent tongue.

A Wraith. Wonderful.

They notice your confusion and elaborate.

A Wraith is someone who has mastered the ultimate teachings of the Hidden Hand, allowing them to completely disappear from the senses of other psychics. Wraiths were rare even in Kreis' time, for they have to sever themselves from the empathic network to make full use of their skills and few First Humans dared to isolate themselves to such an extent.

It is hard to tell with the face-enclosing helmet, but you think the Dragon studies you for a moment before she turns to address Midgard. "Truly? I'm flattered. Junno did give you all of my House's duties after she dismissed me the first time."

"You have not answered my question, Dragon." States Dianna, her knuckles going white from how hard her fists are clenched. "Why would one such as you make an appearance now?"

For a moment the Dragon does not answer, but after a few long, tense seconds she bows to the Queen and speaks. "Forgive me, Majesty. My familiarity with your late mother made me take such liberties with you. I am here to address some old problems that have recently resurfaced." The Dragon rises from the bow and looks over her shoulder at the container. "As well as look into possible solutions."

"D-do you mean the Turn A and the Turn X!?" Stammers Maintainer, who is still being manhandled into the room by the Luziannan pilots.

The Dragon shrugs. "More or less. The Turn Units are a problem, yes, but Junno and I knew that their demises were unconfirmed so we looked into contingencies should they return. Those walking corpses that the Turn X left behind, however, have proved to be a threat as of late." She turns her head to look right at you. "Speaking of the Turn X: I seems remarkably tame for the moment, an impressive feat for one so young. That bloodthirsty young man above our heads is a lot less controlled with the Turn A, which I suppose is fitting considering…nevermind."

You do not answer her at first, not because you are intimidated, but because Vestige has suddenly shoved a whole bunch of memories involving severe, psychic women. They merely shrug when you send a burst of confusion at them.

What? They might come in handy, because I am drawing a blank here.

You'd rather not risk her being offended should you leave her hanging…
