She was able to use the examples of the teachers with objects to visualize math problems inside her own mind. I can sort of see why people are voting against the popular girl option, but I'm going to go against the grain here. Even if we're partially buffered by our status as a princess and all, I'd rather avoid making enemies out of someone who is well liked and naturally charismatic and who would have the ability and motive to poison a lot of people's opinions of us. Plus, we'd probably see her trying to fob answers off Theodora all the time, which is an amusing mental image.
