Through the Ages (Exalted CK2 Style Empire Builder)

Oh so she wanted to kill the guy because he killed her family because they endangered the world (probably not their fault though since he's insanly guilty about it).

I still have to respect the guy Saffon and when we got their I think I would had tried to convince people not to kill him since it could be an bad idea.

Oh well. We will never know what we would had done.

Also what the setting you are thinking of for your new Quest anyway?

Hmmmm, I wonder if there are any hints in your post about telling us about the new Dynasty quest?

Dangit, thanks for running this quest alectai.

So top question was in the 2nd chapter, what key moments did we miss that would have otherwise made the whole thing much easier besides going into the wyld?

What things could have been done to get Lunarme's favor?
And the other gods, what would have been the rewards for their favors?

Lastly, would it be possible to get a pm or a link to all the traits you had written out for the various exalted?

You could have had advance warning by setting up communications with Yojimbo in Chapter One, you could have actually sent Neiya into the Wyld (Which would have resulted in her finding ot they were building up early).

Just because you could use an action on an Intervention every turn doesn't mean it was always the optimal choice, Adventuring often lead to special clues that you wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

What were your plans for the Realm's Legions marching on our lands? What possible outcomes did you foresee?

They'd have sailed up through the rivers, and would have eaten the Freemen if they were still independent and used their lands as a forward operating base for their legions. You would have been up against anywhere from 18 to 30 Legions, with around 800 Dragon Blooded, lead by Tepet Arada.

Yes, That Tepet Arada.

Assuming you won without either making arrangements with a dark force, atrocities, and otherwise observed the commonly accepted Rules of War, there would have been a summit at Whitewall where the Scarlet Empress would have shown up to discuss terms of "Surrender" for you. There'd have been an interlude, and the outcomes would have been anywhere from "The Empress snuffs out your country with the Defense Grids and personally kills you with the Eye of the Fire Dragon", to "Yilali is written off and a Cold War ensues"

I'm having a hard time seeing how you would even know it was a bad idea and how you would be able to convince the others.
True, I'd probably would be willing to vote for the stupid option now that I think about it.
Then again I could had thought long about it and thought "What if this CAUSES the Knife action guys!?!" which if I did and kept to that vote and when we got the knife and Alectai (presubly) telling us why we got the knife may had caused me to have an reaction simuler to Nightblade from "An dynasty of Dynamic achohalism" when we got attacked from that Vampire.

Though if I didn't vote for the smart option I'd just be sad and angry at myself for being stupid.

Hey Alectai. I'm glad we played this quest. It was a lot of fun! Though I had hoped that after (assuming we did) get past chapter 4 we could had made an spin off of this quest based around characters in that Alternative world.

Also what were your plans for post chapter 4 anyway? With the Cold War plan going through since that's the best case sceanario. Like how would that affect the world of Creation?

What was the Arbitrator, a lunar or sidereal disguise or something else?

To counter the Knife, what would have been the chances of getting one of the Lunar elders who were combat optimized?

Assuming you got to Chapter 5, I'd have pushed the timeline to the Age of Sorrows. Though it would bear very little resemblance to canon becuase the complacency that lead to it wouldn't have descended.

Yeah, the Arbitrator was Saffron.

Why do you think when you looked for evidence, all you found out was that he was fictional?

Is the Age of Sorrows the canon time? Also would the Tepats suffer the same epic defeat from the Bull of the North as canon? Since they would be more paranoid of the Solar exalted then in canon I'd presume since they have an very clear case of an Solar Exalted that's also in the north and was able to defeat the Realm's Army with an small kingdom or would they just act like canon and die like a bunch of dogs?

They would not have, no, and there would be no reason for them to be exterminated becaue there's a perfectly fine border to guard and brushfires to put out! (Namely, you, there'd be a shitload of low level skirmishing going on at the border, and it would have lead to both sides being really hardcore and practiced by the time of the Age of Sorrows)

So basicly the Bull of the North wouldn't had pulled off his stuff since the Realm would be both more expirience even if they went to deal with him and the likelyhood of them doing so would be low since he'd be in the Yilali's sphere of inflounce and would silently hope that the two Solar Anathem would kill eachother probably.

What would be the kind of stuff they would say about our character anyway back in the Blessed Isle? Would they call us the "Demon King" as I suggested as an insult they would us or would it be different?

So when we got to the age of sorrows how would things have been different, and would we have been able to recruit more solars and lunars?

How loudly would the Scarlet Empress have sworn when the report on Yaili (Century old Solar, First Age Lunar, Loyal Dragon Blooded House), hit her desk?

I have no familiarity with that at all.

Best described as "Warring States era Japan as enforced by Sufficiently Advanced guys with hypertechnology, on an alien planet".

It's the kind of setting where you get mass levies supported by god-mecha and android assassins, where the natives have empathatic and telekinetic powers, and there's fucking horrible monsters and people who can be bioloigcally enhanced to kick the shit out of them thanks to magic science.

It's a pretty cool setting, not going to lie.

@Alectai Out of curiosity, would there ever have been a point where Altren and the Scarlet Empress came to some sort of frenemy understanding? I mean when you both live for hundreds of years and are the undisputed powers (Yilali never moves into the Empire's territory and the Empire never really expects to hold onto any border territories near Yilali), the two must have a lot to talk about after a while...

Also, what was Altren's Great Curse Limit and how would it have manifested based on how we played? Altren becoming obsessed with Yilali's protection and becoming hard-hearted when it comes to people outside of it?
