Through the Ages (Exalted CK2 Style Empire Builder)

I just hate that we keep running into foes that can actually fight back.

Once we reach part 5, I say we declare war on a sheep herd just to know what it's like to have a flawless victory instead of one by the skin of our teeth.

That is all well and good, but I wouldn't be surprised if the GM threw this at us.

He said he was going to make this quest challenging after all. And I doubt we will have a Holy Grenade to stop this monster.

I wonder if the Realm thinks of lesser states as full of shit-flinging monkeys...
DB: Anathema! We have come to end your blight!
Solar: Oh? But you cannot. I have prepared for your coming. Can you face my HOLY HAND-GRENADE! *throws excretion*
DB: What? This is just shit!
Solar: No, it's HOLY SHIT!TM

How many Exalted does it take to stomp a hunt? One, two, three, five, four? One with A holy hand grenade?

...Just one dead anathema.

Yeah, I have no clue why we got Character Witness at all, or why Eastvale Pass was done without a PI. There was a great deal of arguing about whether we should do Hammer of the North without one or delay it until later, but I don't remember anyone suggesting we use a PI on it and not on Eastvale Pass. Also, it make no sense at all that people voted to do two Law of the Wyld votes on the same turn when we had only 5% suspicion. I mean, seriously?

It worked out for the best because the Vale didn't need a PI, and we needed Character Witness to offset the gain in suspicion.

The Vale could have used a PI to turn a 'lessened Suspicion' result into a 'lessened Suspicion and weakened Hunt,' and we neither needed Character Witness nor should we have performed Character Witness without first accruing some Suspcion (like we have now) and a PI to turn on it so as to maximise the effect of the action.

We basically wasted a lot of our potential to lowering Suspicion by the way we handled this turn.

There's not much point dwelling on a turn that's all ready happened, let's focus on the next one.

Hmm, infiltrating their spy network should help feed them more bullshit. Can't try to flip the advisor until we have the spies rendered ineffective.

Maybe we could point to the Anathema operating closer to the Wyld to get more time. We'd even helpfully supply some iron to make it safer.

Wait a turn before we start flipping their spies. They'll probably be guarding their spies pretty well for the first bit, especially since we just slaughtered a bunch of Shikari.

@Alectai

I was wondering, like with this roll the difficulty increased because of an unforseen complication, can we get a bonus to the roll or a lowered difficulty if we predict those kinds of things ahead of time?

Update tonight hopefully with the interlude, shortly followed by the next turn update.

No promises, but assuming no disasters, that's the idea.

Apologies for disappointing everybody hoping for the interlude, but I found a video clip that seems to pretty accurately illustrate a new Solar in hand-to-hand kombat.

Figured I'd share it.
