That is a very good question. @Kirook what is happening to Britain's vast flung colonies? Is Britain taking the French Republic approach of liberty for me but not for thee? Or are we going to see the the dissolution of the Empire?

Honestly, I'm not too worried about Cuba. Between losing the Chincha Islands War and the collapse of their government, Spain is not in a position to try to dictate terms without it appearing farcical. Even a token support like recognizing the rebellion as the rightful Cuban government and sending a single ship would likely be enough.
However, I am concerned about preserving our strength and reach for the next turn, because David Herold seems to have gone from is in exile in Britain to is in captivity in Britain. Which means that the Commonwealth of Britain has a very valuable bargaining chip for if they try to seek American Aid. Which given their lack of solid control over the British Isles and mainland Europe giving them a decidedly cold shoulder, is likely to be next turn.
