It would be talking with one specific TYPE of animal. Like Ant Man and ants, or Squirrel Girl and squirrels. You might have a favorite, or a few favorites, and maybe we could improve those specifically as we progress.

Probably not to start with, but it would be an option. I'd have to check power budget to see if it was something you could start with, and because there are so many various paths I haven't sat down to work them all out in advance like I have some other things.
 
[X] Teleportation
A high mobility/stealth power set. You can travel a short distance in the blink of an eye without physically passing through the spaces in-between. Moving to a location you can't see is currently very difficult, though perhaps it's more of a psychological barrier than an actual limitation of your abilities. When you teleport, the effect produces an odd smoke that you also have a modicum of control over.
 
[X] Matter Manipulation - Earth
A potentially diverse power set that grants you the ability to manipulate dirt and stone. Some types of earth are harder to manipulate than others. You aren't sure exactly why. At present you can reliably shoot an earthen projectile at someone, or vibrate the ground to disrupt footing and spread panic.

"Powers, you might only have one, but if you can master it you will become a god."
 
That's a lot of good options.

I'm not sure why, but I feel like this power-set is familiar :p. Maybe we're secretly adopted.

This is probably the least bombastic power at face value, but I think Domino in Deadpool 2 is a really great showcase of how it might be super fun, synergizes well with our medical specialization also.

Clarification, is the "make yourself more of a target." thing more mental (like some kind of Aggro thing) or physical (like we specifically act like an attack magnet)?

I feel like the best synergy is with the teleportation; becoming a combat medic that can always get to anybody that's injured, and potentially, get them back out again.

Uhm. Yes. It's... impulsive. Something not quite mental and not quite physical, but still also both. It manipulates instinct, I guess is how I'd put it if I really had to. And I do. So I did.
