Gadgets are cool, but Medicine is also a pretty practical field. Not to mention part of heroing includes disaster relief, and aiding injured civilians.
It allows us more ways to save people than straight-up punching out bad guys.

Medicine is a handy skill since Avengers deal with disasters meaning we need to be able to help first responders plus not having to risk a hospital
Law is good for investigation of activity to get bastards on technicalities
Engineering is a more resource intense thing and we dont exactly know that we have access to those resources or the abilities to be like the Starks and Richards and Dooms
Plus Medicine is a GOOD idea Healers are Swamped and we might need to pathc someone who cant live that long in a disaster

That just means we CAN keep people alive wjhat if we have elixer style powrrs that that let us tranq a fucker with a touch or keeping ourselves alive in the field if we get hurt Just cause we went to med school or have training doesnt shoehole us the way engineering does

It's still not remotely something I'm interested in. I like power armor and gadgets, not healing and toxins.
