This is my perspective and feel free to rebut if you feel my opinion is inaccurate/incorrect but I feel that there was no much enthusiasm for the previous vote because our options are severely limited by our choice of team which also limited by us not possessing information regarding other people in the party.
Like if we knew roughly other people's (options) power there might be more discussion regarding who should we take, the presence of other Gwen (Ghost Spider) might also expand the choice (about her team members powers etc).
But since we don't have any information regarding other people we stick with someone we already know and trust and so I feel there's less excitement about this new encounter.

I don't feel the opinion is "inaccurate". It's hard to have an inaccurate opinion without willful ignorance. I feel like this suggests more to me that I'm not getting across the options open to you guys very well. For example, when given the option to chat with people you all could've requested to ask them about their powers. Very little specific input was given, so the conversation just sort of flowed naturally. Sometimes powers were shared, sometimes not. Depended on the person and the topic at hand. Perhaps not thinking to ask is my error; your entire squad introduced themselves by name, code name, and powers, though I tried to get across that was a one-time thing with the way you met other characters after that.

In any case, thank you for the insight. Question for everyone; would more granularity with certain actions be welcome? It would mean MUCH shorter updates if I'm, say, pausing a conversation to ask you guys for votes on what to say next, but it might give more flexibility and natural inclination to decide what information you gather from someone.

Vote's closed.

003 - All Hallow's Eve H
Winner: Sleep in. Do your best to go to bed early tomorrow.
Number of voters: 6

Sunday is a day of rest. A day of sleep. A day of rest and sleep. You lump around the dorm, leaving only once to grab a wrap from the cafeteria. You try your best to get to sleep early... and it takes you far too long to drift off, but you manage. Then the morning comes, your body just doesn't want to get up... but you can't let Gwen down. You manage to roll out of bed a little late, but still make it to the gym.

"Hey, girl! I wasn't sure you were gonna make it."

"It was a struggle. I stayed up way too late Saturday night, and couldn't get to bed as early as I wanted last night..."

"Well, I appreciate your dedication."

Stretching and jogging really helps wake you up and make you feel better about your day, and after that classes are only as difficult to get through as they usually are. As the week goes on, you notice you haven't seen much of Quentin lately. In fact, the last time you remember talking to him was when he told you about the issues with the Morlocks. You've seen him once or twice, but always in passing, and the two of you haven't exchanged much more than a 'hey'. You also notice some fliers; the activities committee is hosting two Hallowe'en parties in the cafeteria; one this Saturday night and one next Saturday to make sure everyone has the opportunity to go regardless of their patrol schedule. Your squad has patrol next Friday, so going Saturday might be a good idea in case you're too sore or tired next week! When weekend finally comes, your work load is stiff; you don't quite get through it until mid-day Saturday. But with schoolwork done, you can focus on relaxing the rest of the weekend. What's on docket for the rest of the day?

What Do You Do?
[ ] Check in with Gwen's Squad.
- Opportunity to progress relationship with Gwen, Other Gwen, America, Dexter, and Fate.
[ ] Track down Edie and check up on her.
- Progress relationship with Edie.
- You don't know where she is; this might take some time.
[ ] See if Peter is available for something.
- Progress relationship with Spider-man.
- You may find out more information about what happened with the thieves.
- He might be busy; this might be a waste of time.
[ ] Track down Monica and see if she's available for something.
- Progress relationship with Monica.
- You don't know where she is; this might take some time.
[ ] Try to find Quentin.
- Progress relationship with Quentin.
- You're not sure where he is; this might take some time.
- You're pretty sure where he is. This might be fruitless since the Morlocks won't let you in.
[ ] Prepare for tonight's Hallowe'en Party; see if anyone else wants to go.
- Opportunity to progress relationship with many characters; meet new ones.
- Takes up A LOT of time.
[ ] Write-in.

OOC: As usual, more detail offered in votes is welcome. For example, if you have specific topics you want to talk to a character about, this would be a good time to mention it. Each choice will also have impact on the story, potential plot threads, and future options, as usual.

Please no. Stopping for every question would slow things down, and there wouldn't really be anything to gain. I'd suggest something like:

[ ] Talk with X
-[ ] Powers
-[ ] Schoolwork
-[ ] Whatever

Tbh, I prefer the natural conversations, but this is how I'd do it if it needed direction.

Edit: Ninja'd by update.

OOC EDIT: I wanted to thank everyone for the feedback. I have some ideas as to how to move forward, and a better understanding of the desires of this player base. <3

Elvin is on the sectional, taking up... most of it. For once, he's not playing video games, instead watching what you recognize as one of the Bad Boys movies with relaxed intent.

"Hey, Elvin. Anyone else around?"

He shakes his head. "Nah. Well. Quentin, maybe. I ain't seen him in a while. He might be in his room, I dunno. But Kitty an' Robbie an' Bling left a while ago."

"Kay," you're getting kind of sucked into the movie yourself, "thanks." You walk to the back of the sectional and lean against it, waiting for a lull in the film to continue. Turns out he's watching it on cable, so a commercial break grants you the opportunity. He looks up at you, assuming you're not just hanging around to watch half a movie. "Um... there's a Hallowe'en party tonight. On campus. There's one next week, too, but I was thinking of going, wanted to see if anyone else wanted to."

"We get to dress up?" You love the fact that he said 'get to' and not 'got to'.

"Yeah, there's a costume contest, I think. I'm... violently underprepared for this, but it should be fun anyhow."

"Mmmmm count me in. In the cafeteria?"

"Yeah, nine o'clock. Can't wait to see you there!"

You proceed to your phone to text out to everyone; Quentin, Roxy, Robbie, Kitty, and Gwen. You'd contact the rest of her team... but you don't have their numbers. You're careful to mention to Roxy that you're trying to invite everyone... just so she doesn't get the wrong idea again. Before long you get a response. Your squad seems excited in general, though Quentin takes much longer to text back and says he's busy with a frowny-face. Gwen says she'll do her best to get her team together to join you, but is personally looking forward to it.

OK! Yay! You'll meet new people, probably, and have the safety of at least a few known friends. Now it's just a matter of finding something to wear! You take stock of the clothes you brought with you, your makeup, and are fiercely aware there isn't time to take a bus in town to go shopping, As you consider your options, you also think about the coming party and what you'll be doing there.

What To Wear (Choose One)
[ ] Cat
- Might step on Kitty's brand a little.
[ ] Classic Ghost
- Generic.
- You will literally be wearing a sheet with holes cut in it.
[ ] Zombie
- Generic.
- Relies entirely on your makeup skills.
[ ] Sexy Zombie
- Generic.
- Relies entirely on your makeup skills.
- Cleavage distracts from potentially shoddy makeup job.
[ ] Iron Man
- Literally just a plastic Iron Man mask you own and a Stark Industries tee.
[ ] Sexy Iron Man
- Risky, but sits in the magic venn diagram of hot, ironic, and clever.

Goals During the Party (Choose Three)
[ ] Meet New People
[ ] Discover Powers and Code Names
[ ] Strengthen Existing Contacts
[ ] Look into Felix Park
[ ] Relax. Have fun.
[ ] Get turnt.

Don't particularly care which costume, should be fun no matter what. Unless there is some hidden bonus attached...?

Going in our own costume is lame, I assume.
