The Slave Who Makes Free: An Anakin Skywalker Quest

[X] Accompany Obi-Wan to Huk.

We'll be entering an active warzone unarmed, yes, but it's not the first time that's happened to us. And while Obi-Wan is probably one of the best equipped Jedi to deal with this conflict, given his history, I think Anakin's perspective will be key in determining what exactly occurred between the Yam'rii and the Kaleesh. Once Anakin identifies the Yam'rii as Depur, I trust that Obi-Wan will be able to figure out a way to set things right.

Quite frankly, a Jedi doesn't need a lightsaber. It's completely irrelevant to their mission statement. All you need is the force, and your wits. That's it. I think Anakin can make himself useful in the Huk war, and I don't think travelling to Huk is a "trap" option, since I doubt Kirook would put that sort of thing here.

I'd like to thank @AKuz, who created Chara Vaere and the Vaere family more generally, for allowing me to use her character in this story. Chara makes a great addition to the Galaxy Far Far Away and I'm happy to be able to include her in this tale.
And did you specify you were putting Chara in charge of a ship named after Carth Onasi? :V

Obi Wan left to his own devices has a tendency to act unwisely and forget his own health. No thanks.

Foreshadowing of things getting bad. More foreshadowing of things getting bad.

And yet, when I read the last segment and I see that word...

Huk. I feel an urge to spit after saying that.

This isn't just an Obi-Wan or Our Student Cluster question here. This is a Put Our Thumb On The Galactic Scales vs Jedi Orthodoxy question too.

If the disturbance is in the Huk system, then odds are Ronderu lij Kummar is already dead, the Huk colonizers are on the back foot and the Kaleesh are being led by Qymaen jai Sheelal (now known as Grievous), and we're looking at "front row seat to see the ugly-and-bloody-end of an uprising by a people formerly colonized". Given how strong the social justice angle has been in this story and how badly things go in OTL for the Kaleesh...as much as I would love to get more of the mystical discussion and Force stuff and lightsabers and Jedi and everything that I love about Star Wars, we will get our opportunity for that.

The opportunity to arrive at the correct insight (the Republic is being shown a falsehood rather akin to the Palpatine's Chambers scene in RotS and if they are not corrected will make Anakin's mistake of going after the one trying to permanently stop an overreach) is ours and ours alone.
