Genuine question but why are there no plans that push for both grievous working with naboo and advocating for the agricorps petition?

[ ] Plan:Against Depur.
-[ ] Make contact with potential allies in the Senate.
-[ ] Keep trying to persuade Grievous to work with Naboo.
-[ ] Find out what's happening with the Council.
-[ ] Advocate for the petition to defy the Banking Clan and deploy the AgriCorps.

-[ ] Check in on your friends.

Problem solved.

Light the way for the Jedi to find their path. We serve the force not the senate or the corporations!

[X] Plan: Engaging with the Premise

Also worth noting that the higher we let stress get before venting it, the worse it's going to be when we do.

And I remind you, that red option's don't have to cause stress and blue don't have to vent it out. Blue just means that Anakin thinks this option will be good while red means that Anakin thinks the option will be stressful. For all we know, visiting and asking Palpatine for help will-in the end-cause Anakin to have mental breakdown from sheer stress it will cause him.

And for all we know, it will make him relax and feel better knowing that the Supreme Chancellor is willing to help. This quest is rather reduced in fun if we don't even interact with the man. Rejecting Palpatines thought process may well make Anakin grow as a person, and help him see through Palpatines lies, but he'd have to be exposed first.

A story about resisting the darkness within isn't so fun when we don't interact with the tempter, after all.

Even if you assume that meeting with the Palp will be good for stress, Engaging with the Premise isn't tailored towards reducing it, since it has 5 actions, which means it's guaranteed to add two points of stress, before getting into the actual events of the chapter.

I still don't think going to Palpatine actually makes much sense, in character, at this point in the story. Part of that is his help doesn't really fit our goal of getting the Jedi to be a more proactive force for good. But more importantly, Anakin tends to focus on what's in front of him and what he can do directly, which is part of why he can get so reckless. Most of what's happening is happening inside the temple and, to Anakin, would appear to be Jedi politics, so it makes sense that he'd focus on that.

For the record, I'd say going to the sympathetic senators makes more sense than going to Palpatine, despite it also revolving around external allies, because it's the direction Padme pointed him in as he was leaving Naboo (so he's already thinking about it and Padme) and because I see it as more him going to them as an extension of the actions he's taking, rather than asking them to accomplish his goals for him.

You can say we need to interact with Palpatine at some point, for a variety of reasons, and I'd agree with you. I just don't think here and now is the right time or place.

If this were purely internal Jedi politics, I'd agree. But denying the Jedi Order to an area of space, of even attempting to establish that precedent, could be seen as something of a challenge to the Senates authority as well. It'd be one thing if that body said the Jedi can't deploy, its another if its a Mega corp filing a cease and desist. I don't think it'd take much of a shift for Anakin to think the Supreme Chancellor could be of help, especially over the Senate itself. Having the Supreme Chancellor seemingly in lockstep with the Jedi on this matter could send quite the powerful message. I think there are valid reasons to going to the man in order to try and stack the deck in our favor.

Ceases and desists are served, motions for temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and final injunctions are filed.

That said, the Senate might well be concerned over a judicial usurpation of its exclusive prerogative to command the Jedi. It won't be deciding the said motions, Republic courts will.

I am reading through this quest and just hit the Destiny? chapter. I am saddened that I cannot read the branches of the branches, for selecting them just collapses the box and leaves only the Scavenger.
