The Scourging of Lordaeron (Warcraft Quest Reboot)

In case anyone isn't familiar with the new lore, Blizzard realized that they were running out of baddies to turn into loot pinatas, so they stuck an entire new tier of potential raid bosses to the top of the Warcraft food chain.

The new big bads of the universe are now basically sentient entropy and the Old Gods are their pets.

Oh, and Sargeras got buffed to insane levels. The Titans are basically living planets. Here's him destroying a planet that has been infested by the Void.
1) Will that be relevant in the quest?
2) Worth reading the first quest, or am I better going into this one without having read it?
3) When in the timeline does this take place? Might be being blind, couldn't spot if it said anywhere.

1) Will that be relevant in the quest?

Not as much for the Scourge as the other two, since it directly involves their 'end game' victory conditions.

2) Worth reading the first quest, or am I better going into this one without having read it?

Nah, you're good.

3) When in the timeline does this take place? Might be being blind, couldn't spot if it said anywhere.

A year or so before the Third War, or Warcraft III.

Here are some suggestions for Ariseth's picture. I didn't notice the previous one was an orc either. Even now I still feel it looks more elfy.

Somewhat of a foregone conclusion at the moment, depending on how long voting lasts. :p

I will leave voting open for now, but, since one build is winning so decisively already, I'll get started on the next part of character creation.

I vaguely remember having fun with this the first time around. Maybe it was just reading what had been written prior it dying...

I'm kinda curious now, with this lore does it mean it's actually possible to play as a servant of the Burning Legion and not be a raging self centered douchebag? Just a Well-Intentioned extremist who's willing to kill off this compromised reality and replace it with one where the Void Lords can't influence it at all?

Don't get me wrong, the character would still be a horrible person, they'd just be more sympathetic than pretty much any other Legion character, except maybe Sargeras depending on how you want to look at it.

I assume that Class Traits are limited to one this time as well?

Also, everyone: Pick Overbearing for that "Incompetent minions" feel without actually having incompetent minions!

Yeah, I thought about letting you pick any of them, but that would just dilute the character.
