[X]"Yes, they'll be most welcome."
[X]You've picked up a few things over the years, but you're no expert on biology.
[X]Save some.
-[X]Do not save advanced cases. They require too much of your blood.
-[X]Do not save people who seem like they'll live until sunset – you can try to come up with a magical solution then.

"You will have to wait until this evening when I can work on a ritual, I'm afraid. As for the rest, I'll have to see each of them, but I expect be able to help… perhaps half, now? A group ritual should be far more efficient than me running around trying to fix this one-by-one."
"Are you going to do the same thing you did for me?" Ken asks.
"No – ah – easier to show you. Let's see if we can catch Nurse Mitchell before she gets pieces cut off, shall we?"
So you do. Ken takes care of the talking, and in the meantime you cut yourself with your teeth and soak a gauze pad with your blood. The 'new medicine,' applied to the bite wound, does precisely what it's supposed to do. The blackening bite mark destroying her hand is gone.
It's a little like using a flamethrower to light birthday candles, but when your only weapon is a flamethrower... well, it seems like your best option, in any case.
Nurse Mitchell, much recovered, shoos Finn – Ken – off for his smoke break and takes over your tour.
None of the other patients really stick in your mind – you're introduced, you treat them, they say thank you in a most heart-felt fashion. It wears on you, being around people in pain, when you are so very hungry. The scent of distress and death is so thick around you, and the anger and fear when you refuse someone who was bitten just an hour or two ago who will be fine if they are patient-
You excuse yourself to seek composure after you finish your planned tours. Including Ken, you have left eight to try to cleanse by magic tonight. Eight is a good, strong ritual number. You have helped five people – two nurses, two patients, and a police officer.
You end up in the room of one of the patients you just saw, the only case you dismissed as hopeless. You'd have to have him drink your blood, in order to deal with the magic ravaging through his system from his mangled leg. The police officer wasn't lucid enough to argue about it, though he was lucid enough to call one of the nurses a very ugly word. Not a pleasant man.
[]He's dying anyway. Kill him, you're hungry.
[]You should probably go.
-[]Finish your conversation with the angry patient.
-[]Talk to Nurse Mitchell and the other patients you treated about side effects.
-[]Go find Administrator Mgawni and talk to him about other bite victims.
-[]Go find Ken, he's been gone a long time.
-[]Go find the break room and watch TV.
-[]Go home. Maybe even sleep.
-[]Go shopping. Shops should start opening soon, and you need magic supplies, a non-borrowed machete, and blood.
