It's the sole wrinkle on the plan you made. The losses suck but we also bloodied the Defenders at the expense of them losing their stored gunpowders and their gatehouse. Either we make a plan that keeps the passivity and lick our wounds with the locked dice or we do two dices and storm the damn thing.A true comedy of errors this siege has turned out to be. I'm sorry everyone, the dice were not in my plan's favor.
Well thank Ranald, literally. My reticence on stirring the pot against Slyvania is vindicated, but I will not complain that we succeeded despite the long odds. It speaks to how much Vlad locked down the province that our only agents are divinely backed Ranaldians who are at the moment, Empire's equivalent for Grey Magisters. The Sylvanian Confidancy
Target: 100
Skill: +14 Intrigue, +14 Fiorella
Council Effect: +22 Confidante of the Seat
Other Modifiers: -60 Active Counteragents, -30 Hostile Network Strength, +15 The Confidancy
Roll Result: (68+38+19)-25 = 100 Success
Do we get to pick all of the options, as tough as a sell as it is? And do Bismarck or the Council get a glimpse of what the Amendment looks like? Just to see if it's on the up and up?[ ] The Sheriff
Pledge to send the Iron Companies to the defence of the Mootland should it be attacked, in return the Sheriff and his Wardens will support the Second Conference.
[ ] The Port
The Sauerapfel Port is the main export port of the Moot and huge halfling barges are launched from Sauerapfel low in the water with the weight of Mootlander exports. If you build an expansion to the port, the Halflings will offer Nuln access to Moot Leather and food.
[ ] The Halfling Amendment
The Cult of Quinsberry has written up a Halfling Amendment which if included in the Codex of Law for Wissenland will, they say, afford Halflings rights equal to those of Men and Dwarfs in the Province.

Is the Ostermark mention a typo or can we go full arms dealer? What's the benefit of these actions? The Industrielplatz
Dedicate the Industrielplatz to creating non-blackpowder arms and armour for use in the raising, training and equipping of regiments of State Troop within Ostermark.
Cost: 1,000 Marks and 1,000 Materials per Die.
Must Beat: 200
The Imperial Gunnery School
Instruct the Imperial Gunnery School to create blackpowder arms and armour for use in the raising, training and equipping of regiments of State Troop within Ostermark.
Cost: 2,000 Marks, 1,000 Materials and 1,000 Food per Die
Must Beat: 100

What's the difference between the two, and would doing only one of them fulfills the obligation? You have an agreement in place with Ostermark to supply war materiel if it is attacked. The Ungol tribes of the Veldt are marching on Bechafen at the moment.
What's the difference between the two, and would doing only one of them fulfills the obligation?
Bismarck: I HATE WURTBAD! I HATE WURTBAD! I HATE WURTBAD! ....
A true comedy of errors this siege has turned out to be. I'm sorry everyone, the dice were not in my plan's favor.
Right, I think we can spin this to the Otillian Empress for further deals. Of the Imperial Claimants, she's the one that's likely to have the least amount of crabs buckets and likely to be receptive to any kinds of trade deals in exchange of arming her mauled troops, if we toss in the fact that we're willing to back her on getting her vote now, once the opportunity for a Second Conference is settled. The Industrielplatz will not supply guns or cannons, the School will.
In theory there's an argument that the Veldt is not a valid target for such an agreement given that they are part of the Ostermark the same as the Mark of Essen is and therefore you could get away with not supplying anything. It's a local rebellion in the province and the wording of the agreement mentions invasion of the Ostermark.
If you supply anything, Ostermark will be glad to accept it.
Question @Warkeymon, does completing actions that Di Miragliano are interested in gives extra roll modifiers or gives a Di Miragliano action for? Not quite sure the mechanics of the research pact since narratively, it sounds like we're just friendly rivals rather than anything so we'd have access. And I assume they haven't reverse engineered the compass yet, since the option is there?
And for calculating costs, do we still shoulder the material costs for Marienburg building Grenzstadt to bolster the inter province cooperation?
Di Miragliano will add one of his own Action Dice to a research project he's interested in at no extra cost to yourselves. In essence if you announce a project to solve a technological challenge he wants to help with he'll send some of his faculty over with the research they have on the topic to help out.
Well then. That changes quite a few things. Is the extra Leonardo dice apply per action or per turn with a choice of us assigning them?Marienburg pays for its Action Die. I note you've stated 4 Dice in martial but have assigned only 3 Dice to actions also.
Well then. That changes quite a few things. Is the extra Leonardo dice apply per action or per turn with a choice of us assigning them?
It's a Must Beat: 100 to arm them though. A variant plan can be made to shift the Mainspring Dice and the mistakenly allocated dice to the Imperial School action.Since we are re-equipping the companies to Flintlocks, we likely have warehouses full of old Nulner Rifles. I am sure the Ostermark would love to have several thousand handguns for free. Powder would be sold separately and at a discount tho.
So if we do Mainspring and Gimbal both, each gets one dice?Di Miragliano is willing to assign 1 Die to any project that interests him provided you are running the project otherwise he'll be working on projects back in Miragliano. In essence you don't get an extra die to use or assign but if you dedicate a Die to a tech he'll also send a Die. If the tech fails and you do it again, he'll still add a Die if he's still interested.
The Imperial School action is having them make new guns, my idea is giving them our old guns. It would be embarrassing that we are giving the Ostermarks our newest flintlocks before our own army get theirs. Also do you have a reason on researching mainspring? It's a Must Beat: 100 to arm them though. A variant plan can be made to shift the Mainspring Dice and the mistakenly allocated dice to the Imperial School action.
