Just from what I've seen, that seems like the kind of power that should be flat out disallowed.

...

*pauses*

Where's your Franklin Badge?
The pile of charred ash answered, "Gave it to Taichi."

Seeing that I'm blatantly not able to do so, and the first action of Mr. Fuck Reality, I Have All Fiction was to murder everybody and resurrect them, I'd like to think that we're not bound to do so.
The Illuminati needs to gather the necessary equipment and power in order to restore the Masquerade. That said, killing us or turning us over to them would go a long way towards making it easier.

What?

I guess the question was if expansion players can rebel against the summoner.
It's possible, but the summoner is a powerful mage. It won't be an easy task.

It was a cause for some concern for a few others, IIRC (it included Twitchy, who suggested he be kicked to make room for you).
Yeah, I'm not that big of a dick.

Well, apparently, he has set up some limitations on it, but the fact that it allows for casual resurrection bothers me. A lot.
I'll let Master Vrook answer this for me:

"Every action has consequences, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem."

And since he did a Big action...

Just from what I've seen, that seems like the kind of power that should be flat out disallowed.
It'll have to be done IC. And I know just how to do it...

It's pretty clear that if I end up in expansion, I'll have to either find a sufficiently strong Mage to ally with, or do it the fun way.

Alright, then.

While I'm still not exactly happy with his skill set, the fact that it invites ruin upon him if he does something big...

Actually, that probably means other players are going to have to deal with the problem, since while his power is insanely...powerful for lack of a better word, they'd probably be immune to said power due to its limitations, and he's actually weaker than the average human.

*groans*

Which means, he invites ruin to an area, and can't defend the area because the enemy would be suited to, if not killing or imprisoning burningclaw2, then ignoring him and continue on rampaging.

I cast Summon Greater Nazgul.

Hmm. I wonder where I can find a royal/King/powerful person to turn into a Nazgul.

...Sauron and Dracula go on a Road Trip to the White House!
Cheney's already a Lich. You can't make him something he already is.

Obama's pretty well protected against all sorts of magical shenenigans. Washington DC is literally protected against all sorts of things and for good reason too.

Tokyo, London, Paris, Moscow, Beijing, Rome, Mecca and Jerusalem are similarly protected. There's certain other places with serious protections, but those are the main places.

If you can figure out why, you'll get a cookie.

That's why. These places are cultural or religious hubs.

Information: Protections
China, Japan, Britain, France, Russia. World powers.
Tokyo's more of an outlier, but yes.

The capitals of the Five Permanent Members of the United Nation Security Council have the most powerful supernatural protections on Earth and the money and resources to pay for it all. Followed by the rest of the capitals of the G20 Nations. Followed by the most populous cities and goes on down. The average town by comparison may have one church or temple with significant power, usually a Catholic diocese or Buddhist temple, a few magic-workers (that keep their heads down because of the Masquerade), and may or may not have their citizens armed.

Small wonder that "every town has its dark secrets".

I love that line, where at some point in Awakening, everyone thinks Robin is dead/missing.

"...She lives, I know it. Some people just aren't the dying sort."

Once @Krein, @Whatmesage and @Einsig finish healing Nemissa, the Director of ARCHANGEL's Test will begin on the 7th of July. Following that, the meeting with POTUS will begin on the 15th. The Chief of Staff will arrive about one or two days early to learn who's attending and work with whoever does decide. He'll also give you guys the ins and outs of proper protocol and he'll also be in charge of the gift protocols, if anyone wishes to gift the President, Vice Presidents or their families something nice. He will also inform you that select allies will also have a presence, generally in the form of the Ambassadors, so if you want to make nice with say, the Queen's Ambassador, then you may do so. Then the meeting will begin.

I will then invoke GM privileges for the necessity of brevity, but there'll be plenty of chances for conversations and such with the various members of Congress and the Cabinet that will be in the meeting.

It'll also be in the news and there'll be photographs taken for historical purposes, so best work on overcoming camera shyness before the meeting if you're attending.

And word of warning. This is indeed a Very Important Historical Meeting, nearly, but not quite on the level of a State Visit. Somewhere between the Correspondence Dinner and a State Visit, but closer to the State Visit in terms of importance. Shenenigans that reflect poorly upon us will incur negative repercussions against TABRIS as a whole, so think before you type. And as GM, I will not tolerate stupid actions at the meeting and they will have consequences. So if you intend to do anything stupid, you might as well stay home.

Sorry, if I'm being harsh, but I want this meeting to be smooth and not incur headaches, especially diplomatic headaches. I can promise that there will be no actions by the part of our enemies aside from political and diplomatic maneuvering and basically gauging our ability to handle a high-level meeting and their tongues.

Not to mention the World is literally watching this, especially after Brazil and other locations.

So be nice, be polite, and have a pleasant stay.

My Rings will simply have to be stronger in order to break their protections.

None are safe from the gaze of the All-Seeing Eye.

I can't remember, do world leaders have protection against empathic senses?

I don't think John's the type of GM who'd let someone take control of the game's setting like that so easily. Then again, I'm not going to be someone who'd test that and risk incurring the GM's wrath, so what'd I know?
